Food was ok - but mains delivered before we had finished outer starters - just felt rushed which ruined the experience! Rather harsh service too!

The food was tasty . Staff served us quickly and was friendly but the heating was broken . We sat eating in our coats which wasn’t good The restaurant was freezing

This restaurant is always friendly, fresh food with meat and veggie options, the service is great and it's really good value with a good meal and drinks at about £30.

The food was amazing but the table i have booked they didn’t reserved infact not was in a good position and they didn’t want change. the payment was in cash and they told us before paid. Not well organised.

I was looking for a relaxed place for a nice, informal meal. Efes completely delivered. The food was lovely, the restaurant offered a very relaxed atmosphere. Typical Turkish food full of flavour and really delicious.

Lovely food as usual, all the staff are friendly and they give you a great service and the ambient is amazing, also the price is good!

Pooor not family they wanted u out asap not happy with service and arrogance of manager. I wouldnt be going there again, they werent that friendly.

Great food, both lamb and chicken were spicy but tender. Affordable prices. Service was bit slow but the staff was nice enough. Easy to access Shadewell DLR afterwards.

Fresh, wonderfully cooked food, with an informal, fantastic atmosphere! The lamb chops were so tender and beautifully seasoned, probably the best I've ever eaten. Superb!

Great atmosphere, great scenery, bit pricy for the amount given. Overall positive. Attentive staff, respected fasting traditions, came just before fasting time, dates given to, but no Turkish tea to compliment as other Turkish restaurants offer this, and no baklava a given to. 6 stars.

Very good food and quick service during Ramadan! The Efes platter was a bit expensive compared to other places however did enjoy the quality of the food.

Good food and good atmosphere. Had to ask the waiters 2 or three times for drinks and bread but overall has a good time. I would go again.

This is a very popular place, good staff and great food, i would recommend any time. You need to call and book but they will accommodate if they have tables

Satisfactory meal. nothing special . Drinks are very expensive at 5 pound for a small mojito.the menu says one price and we were charged another.

Excellent quality, huge quantity, friendly staff, worth it prices. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to eat till he drops. Would suggest the Efes platter no.2 for any group of 4 and more.

Food is mediocre. On the Bland side. Definitely not gluten free friendly and even the rice ( which is the base of every meal) contains gluten. Staff was nice but service was very slow. Although once the food was ordered it arrived promptly. The salad and dressing was good. Can’t speak for desert as we didn’t order. I’d recommend removing a couple of tables because they are uncomfortably close together.

Great restaurant. While we were waiting for our friends arival I was surprised to get surved tea, the quality of the service is very good. The food was also served quickly and I enjoyed my experience, I recommend It.

The stuffs are very lovely , sweet welcoming client and food was cooked very well . Good place to bring family's and friends to have fun . I will always come back to Efes

This was Saturday and the restaurant was busy,but very nice food.One thing was my fault or staff.My friends have meat with bulgur and no one suggest that they have to order salads separate.I had something else ordered and when I noticed was too late.They food was tasty but without salads too dry.My earlier experience from other Turkish restaurant they ever serve the food with salad. Why I missed it.My friends did not ask me because they were my guests . Generally a great evening.

Great food! Great service! Just Great! We had a table of 9 people and they couldn't have been accommodating if they tried. All the food was cooked how we liked it and my LAMB CHOPS were amazing. Even thinking about them makes me want to go get some now. We took our own alcohol, however we noticed they've started selling beers and spirits, which was rather annoying as we'd gone to Tesco next door and bought a considerable amount of alcohol. However it won't go to waste with Christmas around the corner. :-) We had starters and mains each, with a few of us having a desert. The bill came to £247 which was just great! We worked it out a £30 a head including a tip - which was great food with good company we all thought was pretty good. We had a drink in The Culpepper(commercial street) before heading to the restaurant which was about a 8min walk from there. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will be returning soon :-)

Great restaurant / food for a party of 9 guys. One portion of chicken wings needed to be returned to the grill as a few were still bloody inside. New portion was delivered promptly with apologies from the kitchen.

Eaten here many, many times over the years. On this occasion it appeared a complete chance of staff and therefore probably management had taken place. Food not nearly as good, tiny portions in comparison, some uncooked chicken, and a 10% Service Charge on the bill to top it all off. May well look elsewhere from now on.....

Efes is always great. Fabulous service and great food, what more can you ask for? Definitely a local favourite. Will keep coming back here for sure!

Asked to order so many times - this was quite harassing as the staff would come back every 30 seconds and seem irritated when we hasn't decided. Very noisy venue. Food delivered out in a rush, starter was out and then our main was brought over whilst we were still eating the starter; I felt really rushed to eat and leave which I thought was awful.

Lovely and comfy restaurant! The food we ate was delicious, well cooked and very tasting! The sweet outstanding! Staff very polite and welcoming! Great place to visit again!!!

Good food but pricier than the north London Turkish restaurants. I would visit again though as the meat was of good quality and nicely marinated

One of the top 10 meals we have ever eaten anywhere in the world. It's great fast service but it's the quality that shines through.

Excellent service, staff were very friendly efficient and the food was delicious.would definitely go Efes again, we really enjoyed our evening ended the night with complimentary Turkish sweets thanks guys.
