Arrived a little early, with the pub being very busy they got us a table so we could have a drink before being sat at another table for dinner. This is our favourite pub to go to while visiting Lincoln, had the fish and chips. It was lovely. Service was good although everyone felt they were being rushed. Will be back again next year 😄

They were really busy, so we were late getting served, but they were really great, and kept apologising for the lateness. The food was worth waiting for, we all enjoyed it. Even the dog enjoyed herself, getting lots of fuss off people. We would definitely go back there again. 😀

Lovely Sunday roast (could've been slightly warmer) and chocolate brownie for pud (microwaved so a bit hard on the outside) but all in all a lovely meal. The staff were friendly and accommodating!

I had the roast beef dinner and I found the beef to be tough my husband had the pie and he found the pastry tough. The rest of the meal was OK thought

Ran out of Pork, and cauliflower cheese only enough sauvignon blanc for one glass. No pint grigio. Service okay

Food less than average. Soggy chips, overcooked microwaved chicken - asked what was wrong with the food, explained but no discount offered - really disappointing- also didn’t take off deposit paid at time of booking.

We arrived and were greeted by a lovely member of staff and shown to our table. Importantly, following COVID guidelines. The staff did their best to manage the volume of customers inside and out. The food itself was of a good quality. I do hope people will be very forgiving if they had to wait or errors were made. Staff are only human. Thank you to all the staff and we will be back next time we’re in Lincoln.

Totally understand how difficult everything is during this difficult year but we booked a table before the tea-time rush and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for our food to arrive. Good food when it finally arrived though.

would of liked the table for a bit longer than 90 min but apart from that, it was great, reccomend the hollumi to start and burrito main, it was lovely.

Very lovely food. A bit slow with the service but understood due to busy Eat Out scheme. Did take 20 minutes to pay the bill as it was given to us and then no one came back to us until we had to ask again to pay it and woman brought us a new bill not realising we already had it.
