Been away from London for 5 years and was looking forward to eating here again, and it didn’t disappoint food was amazing and staff were as always very attentive.
Great food - different curries. Well looked after. Wish it was our local!
As ever a special meal. No 22 Royal Himalayan Chicken. With a herb called 'ZIMBU' from the Northern Hills of Nepal. Delicious! Thank you.
Amazing food, Ali our waiter was great. Will definitely be back!
Excellent restaurant. Always beautiful food & great service. Highly recommend
Service and food was fantastic, however the price hike since February 2023 was a bit steep
Service here is always attentive, friendly and professional . Dining room is small and cosy and the food is always delicious with excellent specials.
All food was as testy as expected and enjoyed the evening

Amazing experience... as always. Can't wait to come here again.
It's five years since we went there. It's as good as we remember it.
It was good to revisit this old favourite restaurant and receive a warm welcome. We had to return one fish dish but enjoyed the rest of our meal.
Been here many times & it’s always an absolute delight. Highly recommend- food & service exceptional.
Fantastic food !! And great service will be back soon 😃😃
Delicious. consistently good. Fresh food. Cold beer. Best Nepalese around!
Always good food, service and cosy surroundings. Recommended for authentic, tasty food at reasonable prices.
Always love this restaurant as to my friends who always want to visit when staying.
Very welcoming and food delicious . They were very helpful with the menu
Very nice evening and great service. Food was delicious . We really enjoyed it
Took friends with us who hadn’t been before and they were really impressed
The Royal Nepalese is located 2 minutes walk from Westcombe Park railway station. We came from Greenwich so remember to use the platform underpass, exit, turn right and walk up the hill on Station Crescent and the Royal Nepalese is on your left at the end of the road. We had booked which was important as it was busy on a Saturday night. Many local people use the restaurant and it is evident they are frequent users as they know the staff by name which is good sign. We received a very warm welcome from the owner and our waiter could not have been more helpful. There is a wide selection on the menu and we chose Nepalese specialties which were delicious. The food is very well presented and the flavours were amazing without being overly spicy. I have eaten in a number of Indian restaurants but I rate this restaurant very highly. You will not be disappointed!
Very good food and service and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They also allowed us to have a meal deal for a discount on request for a large party
Food as always excellent I have friends staying and the Royal Nepalese is always on their agenda And I'm always happy to go with them.!
Great food and friendly staff with good service. The only negative comment we could make was that it wasn’t particularly warm in the restaurant and therefore didn’t feel as cosy as it looked.
As regulars, we find the food is always excellent: fresh, tantalising and tasty and there are dishes here that we’ve not found in other Indian restaurants. The staff are charming and attentive, but discreet. Highly recommended.
We had to wait an hour for our food with no explanation or apology. The restaurant was not busy and it was a straightforward order so there is no readily available explanation for such poor service
The food. At the Royal Nepalese restaurant is outstanding and the service is excellent. The menu is exciting and enticing and offers original taste sensations.
Great food as always and the staff are totally professional and friendly. The Nepalese influence of the specials transports you to the mountains and the standards dishes are all well above average, even the pickle tray!
Great food and very friendly service! Their chicken langtang was our favourite, along with the chicken tikka jalfrezi. Will definitely be going back! Thanks for a great night.
Lovely food and good choice of dishes. Staff were very friendly and attended to all our needs. Drinks were quiet expensive but overall a very nice meal out.
On every occasion that I have been to the Royal Nepalese I have never been disappointed. The food is great and the staff are always friendly and welcoming.Highly recommend.
Dinner was really lovely. Service with a smile, fast and friendly, and a wonderful Nepalese curry, rice and naan. We had a great evening. Recommended.
Reasly friendly atmosphere and great food. Not your usual curry. I highly recommend the place. Momos (little dumplings) and accompanying sauce were particularly tasty. We had great night out
Food was delicious and the service was really friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. It's a gem of a place in the local area. Will definitely go again. Was a lovely way to spend a Sunday evening.
Quality food with friendly service at an affordable price. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for authentic Indian/Nepalese cuisine in an ambient setting 👍
Food is absolutely delicious - the lamb chops are divine; service is great and friendly; atmosphere is relaxed and romantic! Can't recommend Royal Nepalese Restaurant enough!!
I have been a regular visitor to TheRoyal Nepalese for several years. They have many regular customers are always very friendly and the food is excellent especially the momos.
Excellent. Had not been for 2 years as we moved further away. Came on Sunday evening and it was just as good. Always eat from the Nepalese menu.
As always experienced great food and service. Have used this restaurant on numerous occasions and it has become a firm favourite with all my friends.
Food here is sublime. Tried the chef's new special, a Nepalese dish called Lamb Langtang (I think!). Perfect. Only slight quibble was the 40 minute wait for food, though that could have been because of a large birthday party at another table. In retrospect, should have accepted the offer of chapatis and spices to nibble on first. But overall, one of the best Indian restaurants I have been to - and I have been to a lot!
Excellent meal and lovely staff! We had two very nice curries - one slices and one less so. The staff helped choose which was nice and were very attentive
The best Nepalese I have ever been to. Service was very attentive. I will be back to try the other dishes and I'm looking forward to that.
Good location with parking outside and next to the station. We had a warm welcome and good service. The atmosphere is very comfortable. They offer a large, varied menu with reasonable prices. We've been many times before and never been disappointed. We've recommended it to our friends too. I love their dansak either chicken or lamb. It's a hidden gem!
Excellent service, superb food and drinks. This was our second visit, we will be back for more. Highly recommended if you like Nepalese food. Just by Westcombe Park Sation, free parking on the street outside.
A lovely, small and quiet restaurant. With a very warm welcome and very good service. Easy free parking, which is rare in Greenwich! Good choice!
I visited Royal Nepalese for my boyfriends birthday, it's a little out of the way but worth travelling to! Delicious food and great service! I will definitely be visiting again.
Really excellent food, good service and decently priced. Book if you are in the neighbourhood as it's well worth a visit. We will return. My only down mark is for the toilets (although I only saw the ladies).
