The restaurant was really busy. Great atmosphere with lots of laughter and chat going on. The food was amazing and large portions-had chicken tikka sizzler-chicken was cooked to perfection. Will be back!

Nice food friendly staff.only downside not able to get a bill and having to go to the bar and try to sort out a party of 8 without being able to look at a bill.

We absolutely loved our visit to the Royal Delhi. The staff were professional, friendly and attentive. The service was fast, but most importantly the food was amazing!! We will definitely be making it a regular place for a family meal.

Great meal, service, atmosphere and price! Busy when arrived but only had to wait 5 mins for our table for 6. Drinks and “pickle tray” soon arrived. Ordered promptly. Everyone loved the food; special mention for the fish masala!! We will be back!!

We dined at a very busy time that may have affected our experience. The food was good but the atmosphere was terrible. The constant beep of the high pitched doorbell was awful and does mean we will not be dining here again. The tables are very close together and this along with overall noise of the other guests made it impossible to have a conversation. It was like being in a transport cafe not a restaurant. We had a long wait between our starter and main course that the staff did apologise for.

Good food and plenty of it for the price. Was very busy at 6pm on Saturday so expect to wait a while for your meal . But we’ll work it I had veggi samosas for starters they were lovely then had Chicken Tikka sizzler .

We ordered drinks and was given a pickle tray before ordering our meal. We ordered fish pakoras and mushroom Pakoras as starters and 2 main meals with rice and chapattis. The starters were shocking. The batter was bricklayer standard, hard and inedible. Never had pakoras so bad. Rock solid they were. We paid for our pickle tray and drinks and left. It is not acceptable for restaurants to serve food to customers executed in such a poor standard and expect them to put up with it. The waiter said he had passed onto the chef the problem of the batter being way too thick. We will not be returning any time soon. Not a great experience unfortunately.

Such a busy place, queues out the door when it opened, but pre booked and managed to get a table. Food and service always great and even took a second curry home for another day! Best curry house ever.
