We used to frequent Trevi quite often. However, although the service and atmosphere were excellent, the food was nowhere near as good as on previous occasions. This is quite a pity, as we will think twice about going to Trevi again.
Never dissapointed,Great food and great service as always. All round great evening
Excellent service, my friend and I had a lovely time!
Great local place. Good friendly service. Delicious home cooked food.
Great restaurant with a good value set menu near highbury and islington station.
Lovely food, excellent service and reasonable prices. Will return soon!
Lovely food. Tables are a bit squashed as bench seats are pretty small for 2 people
Great homemade food. Nice place. Good prices. Very nice people.
Tables too small for comfort. Food only average to poor. Good chicken milanese
Great food and reasonable prices. Nice and simple place. Very authentic atmosphere.
Food was very nice indeed with wine to compliment, highly recommend!
Last minute booking for a quick dinner. Food portions were large, tasty home cooked style and service was warm and friendly. Perfect for a no frills meal. Will definitely revisit.
Just brilliant!! Huge portions, excellent value, a real local Italian.
This is a very nice little place, the staff were friendly and the food was served fresh and hot. Waiting time was very reasonable for the type of food. We had the special of a starter and any pasta for under £10, which is excellent value. The rice ball starters were great and the mains: lasagne, carbonara and spaghetti funghi were excellent and very filling. Would definitely go back again. Negatives: the American diner style seating is a bit squashed especially if you are tall and or rotund, like two of our group - which is the main reason we didn't stay for pudding as they were feeling uncomfortable, the garlic bread was disappointing. I would suggest checking if they are taking card payments before you sit down as we missed a hand written note near the till about cash only payments and had to go over to the bank opposite to get some cash - which is not a massive problem but pre-warned is preferable.
2nd time here and will be back - great to still have something really traditional
Went to the address on the web site (16-18 Highbury Crescent) and could not find the restaurant
Really delicious food, friendly family service and a great price. Thank you, it was a wonderful way to start our evening.
The food was very good and very good value ... the thing that let it down Was the place looks run down and could do with a refurb also could have done with the air-con turned on
Food not great, but excellent service. House wine could have been nicer.
First visit to Ristorante Trevi, happily surprised by the good value, wonderful service and excellent food. Will definitely recommend and return again....John and friends from Kent.
Great value for money and the quality of the food was amazing.
Great food, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. Nice one
Classic Italian dishes really well cooked. Delightful staff and nice atmosphere.
We had a nice family meal at reasonable price. Also the quality of the food and service was good.
Food was tasty and meat tender. Great service and reasonable prices
Tasty and well cooked food. Great service and excellent prices.
Great little restaurant with great tasting food and excellent staff who were very accommodating.
Doesn't look much from the outside but we were pleasantly surprised. Friendly service with good value tasty food. Definitely would return if in the area again.
Everything delicious - recommend their 2 courses for £10 deal on the board. Staff friendly, happy to recommend their favourite dishes and service v quick. What's not to like?
Very impressive food. Best Arrabiata I've had in years! We were a party of 4 and everybody was raving about the food! Staff were excellent and super value for money. We will definitely be back! Keep up the excellent work!
Lovely food. Lovely staff. Unique. One of the last remaining family Italian restaurants. No pretensions or nouveau crap. And it’s great for a pop-in coffee earlier in the day.
Lovely little place food well cooked and presented only thing was for the puddings the ice cream was unavailable except for vanilla, so ok. but it came out as Chocolate Profiteroles !! all in all great Barbara C
Very basic cafe but great for what it is. Food is typical cafe fare but reasonably priced and tasty. Service wonderful, really friendly. Would definitley go again.
The decor is rather cafe-like but my pasta dish was really tasty and the service was excellent. Had a decent Chianti to go with the food. Very good value. Only problem was finding it. Google maps sends you to the back of the restaurant.
Great Italian kitchen, food very good and tremendous value. Ideal location for venues in Islington. Cannot wait to go back. Very friendly and helpful staff
Fantastic service and amazing value. So close to tube and popped in before a concert. Would recommend the pollo Milanese! We will be back again
This is a nice little restaurant, k in a good position. The food is good for the very reasonable cost and the staff are friendly.
Review : Good food and good service, what more do you want! Arancini balls and tiramisu are recommended!Look pass the decor and enjoy your meal!
Really close to Highbury Station. Well priced, great service, delicious fresh seafood pasta, salad and apple crumble with ice cream. I'll definitely be coming back.
The service was good, and the location was very convenient. The food quality was very acceptable. Atmosphere a little lacking but in no way a stopper. In summary I would happily eat there again.
Trevi is a really friendly "old style " Italian restaurant. We used it before watching the Arsenal match against Milan. All the food is solid without being spectacular and the bottle of Gavi was just what the doctor ordered .Great place to go pre match with its quick friendly service .Also a good omen for the score so we will be back pre the next Arsenal evening match .
No good for us. No high chairs in spite of advertising being child friendly. So we had to leave and go round the corner to Trullo which had a beautiful high chair and great food
Good food and prompt service. The restaurant offers a good range of food and not over-priced, Will definitely revisit when in the area. Ideal location for a pre-dinner meal before going to the Union Chapel.
Lovely little traditional Italian Restaurant with friendly staff and an extensive menu and specials. My go to place to eat when I'm in the area.
Sadly i dont live anywhere near, i would be in every week if i did. From the look & feel of the place itself, to the staff & the food, cant fault it & will certainly return next time I'm I the area, love it 😆
Absolutely love it here. It is what it is. Nothing fancy before a football game. The girl that works in there is brilliant. She’s always so busy but always got time for you
We were made to feel very welcome. We ate off the set menu - food was excellent at a very reasonable price. Will certainly return there when in the area.
Traditional Italian restaurant very close to Highbury and Islington tube. Great value for money with a good range of dishes. Nice staff and even if small, great atmosphere
Italian classics done superbly at a very affordable price. Lovely welcoming staff too. Small, cosy, great atmosphere. Very handy pre gig at The Garage and across from station.
Friendly little restaurant with good tasty italian food. Not posh or trendy but great value - £8 for 2 couses off the set menu. Convenient location. Will go again.
