Great food which satisfied both a vegetarian and meat eater. Lovely atmosphere and brilliant service! Highly recommend and we can't wait to visit again soon!

One of the best Chinese food I had in London,I got a take away and it was absolutely delicious. It is fresh unlike others I tried before.The only negative is that the menu is brief,not a lot to choose from but it is excellent.Also the staff is really nice.

Rice Republic served lovely food and is a great place to find some dim sum in Streatham. Staff are very friendly and welcoming too! Would definitely go again and recommend to others.

Rice Republic is one of the smaller restaurants on Streatham High Rd, but it is perfectly formed and an absolute delight. The décor is unique, inviting and quite rustic, wooden crated walls and nice clean wooden tables, giving an intimate feel with quirky light bulbs hanging in a sort of mini bird cage above each table. The service is very warm, friendly and very attentive without being obtrusive. The staff are also happy and professional which can be a rare treat nowadays. As a family birthday party of 5, we ordered 4 starters, 5 mains and 2 rice, 8 soft drinks and a bottle of Merlot. The cost was £94, which is beyond reasonable for the quality and amount of food we received. Everything is served on a separate wooden platter and presentation is of a very high standard. All the food was really tasty, full of flavours and definitely made with love as it was all eaten up. During our meal, a customer entered and asked for a takeaway which was given to them all neatly packed in a large brown bag within half an hour. We will obviously come back for more, but if possible would choose to eat in, purely for the ambience, quality service and taste of a great Chinese experience. Highly recommended to pay them a visit!

Really nice place to have a quiet meal, the food presentation is excellent and delicious, the staff are friendly and catering, a good selection of beer and wine to accompany the food, and a quaint minimalist styled restaurant space that is warm and inviting, all at a very reasonable price for this excellent experience.

Our favourite Chinese restaurant in the area. Food is great and well presented. Decor is fun with big hand drawn map of China on wall. We brought our baby boy for early dinner and staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Amazing little restaurant in the heart of Streatham, comfortable, quaint real feel setting with super friendly staff, we've been searching for a Chinese restaurant in London to match our experienced palette expectations and we finally found one. The food was absolutely delicious, excellent authentic menu and food which arrives beautifully presented to your table. Rice Republic is a great authentic Chinese restaurant, the food was very delicious, the service was great. We had Won Ton Soup, Sweet & Sour Chicken, Black Bean Beef and Egg Fried Rice. Very reasonibly priced! Highly recommended!!

As usual the food was great and there was little waiting time, the service was courteous and nice and the mood was great for all of us to enjoy a nice dinner.

Great food with friendly and helpful staff. Bit quiet when we first arrived (7:30) maybe some slightly louder music in the early evening would have been good until it filled up later on!
