Rhythm Kitchen - Walthamstow

6pm booking - starters came after 7.30pm Main meals came after 8.30pm! I hadn't ordered starters so by the time I got my main meal, I was beyond hungry and couldn't enjoy it. There were many drivers collecting for delivery and we felt that deliveries got priority.

It's so hard to find a caribbean restaurant, with authentic Jamaican food but Rhythm Kitchen is the place to go, I have always been satisfied with the food I've ordered past and present and their coleslaw is like a drug you just keep wanting more. Big shout out to Leah/Leanne (sorry rum punch makes me forget names lol) for the great hospitality. We'll be returning very soon :-)

The food was cooked but did not taste as I expected. The waitress was very nice and polite. The saltfish fritters were cooked on the outside but very doughy and raw on the inside. The chicken wings were very nice. I ordered the Jerk chicken which was cooked well but and there was no jerk flavour or sauce on the chicken at all. The gravy tasted like Bisto gravy. The oxtail again was cooked but again it tasted like it was made with Bisto gravy. The rice and peas, basmati rice and plantain all tasted nice. The steamed vegetables were very hard. I understand the need to cater for many different people but it should be made clear on the menu what is on offer. Especially with the jerk chicken We were very disappointed with the food.

Didn’t actually get to eat in due to my family changing plans and having hangovers. However I’ve eaten here many times and always delicious. I ordered a large takeaway instead and enjoyed it at home with a hungover son and late wife. Food was great even if no one was talking. 🤣🤣

The staff are friendly and very professional. The portions are very generous. The service was quick, even though they had a larger group of diners, at the same time as us. I have been here emseveral times. Always an enjoyable experience.

We travelled over 3hrs to get to this restaurant after seeing great reviews and social media posts. It was worth it. The staff were friendly and the service came with a smile and great hospitality! The food arrived at a good time and it was delicious! Their Jerk chicken platter and 6 sides' meant we got to sample a lot of flavors. And it fes us with leftovers to take home! I can't wait to come back!!!

Although it was busy (which is always a good sign), this did not compromise the quality of service we received. We enjoyed the food, and with there being a lot of birthdays that day, it just felt like one big family gathering! My sister, who was also celebrating her birthday, had a lovely time. Thanks to the team for providing such a magical experience. We'll be back!

Plantain lasagne and jerk fries… what more could you ask for?! The rum cocktails were delicious, as was the rum cake for dessert. I will definitely be returning!

What a lovely evening out. I has read the reviews so was expecting great things and I wasn't disappointed and neither were any of the people in my party. Everyone enjoyed their food which was authentic and delicious and the cocktails were great too. The ambience, the music and the paintings was a nice touch and the staff were even nicer. I will definitely be coming back and I will be recommending the restaurant to others.

Birthday celebration and we went on a Tuesday which happens to be a special deal day. We all had the oxtail which was delicious. Sides were good too. Enjoyed my birthday rum punch cocktail. This is probably my fifth time here and I'll be back. Excellent customer service.
