Hotel bedrooms could do with decorating. But otherwise stay enjoyable. Staff friendly and welcoming. Quality of food and presentation excellent star of stay.

Always a great welcome and food is excellent. We had a main only this time. Delicious fish and chips for one, and two of us had the fish platter. Lots of variety on the plate and each piece very tasty indeed. Takes us one and a half hours to get there but its well worth the journey.

Great service very clean, food excellent only negative was the restaurant temperature due to COVID-19 the outside door had to remain open.

This is a restaurant that must be visited, everything was spot on , one of the owners was working front of house and you could really tell they new what was important to make dining here a superb experience.

Excellent - and good to see everyone doing so well

The food was ok and the staff were very pleasant but I was sitting facing a pile of tables and chairs that obviously the owners had taken out because of social distancing. It was all a bit dated & quite a depressing outlook for me to be honest.

Food was great service not so good. We had to chance when we wanted a drink refill and we were never offered desserts, teas or coffees after our meal.

So nice to be back in the old familiar...really nice

Everything was perfect! We’ll go back again in the near future
