Great food and service as always but tables for two in very close proximity to next hence we had to endure a barrage of conversation coming from the neighbouring table incuding some unpalatable foul language. A better screen separator would solve.
busy as ever and good food as ever. lovely staff and lively atmosphere. Still my fave Chinese in Edinburgh and, luckily for me, a five minute walk away!
What a nice Christmas lunch. Very good selection on the menu and well presented.
Food and service was pretty good but the squid was pretty awful! Not worth the extra £2 on festive menu as was tiny, watery, bland and not great. Enjoyed everything else though portions a bit small ! Waitresses lovely.
Another excellent meal (as always). Go for a banquet - saves arguments, plenty choice, make sure it includes shredded duck pancakes! 6 to 10 on a round table with a lazy Susan- what's not to like.
An Amazing Restaurant in Edinburgh. Food quality - Amazing as ever. Atmosphere- ambient and relaxing Timing of service - perfect, plenty time between meals, as they asked how long we wanted between courses, love that. Price - very reasonable. Staff - professional, courteous and happy. thank you for a lovely experience.
Had booked quite a while ago and table was by door. Very cold. Had difficulty getting it changed, eventually conceded. Food ok, usually much better.
The set menu has been changed for Christmas and I was disappointed in the choices.Too many spicy dishes for me. Not much interaction from staff members.
Quick service, friendly staff , not our first time here and it won't be our last. Delicious and child friendly set us up for a great night before the Christmas market.
My friend and I visited Rendezvous on Saturday. We ate from the festive lunch menu. Great menu. Good choice of starters and massive and fantastic service. We weren't rushed and ended up sitting for quite a while finishing of our bottle of wine.
Lovely meal, turkey soup was delicious. Lemon chicken yummy and enjoyed the banana fritter I could have done with a but more of the syrup sauce😄😄
Great meal and a lovely welcome, even although it was extremely busy, the service was very good. Would thoroughly recommend the restaurant to everyone. Thanks for a nice night 😁👍
This Chinese Restaurant is so good our group, of up to nine, keeps going back. If you try it I think you’ll like it too.
We chose from the set menu, the food was piping hot served on warm plates. We had prawn cocktail followed by lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken both tasty but I preferred the lemon chicken. We have booked for Christmas day.
Have been going to this restaurant for a few years and it never disappoints. Extensive food and drinks menu and not overly expensive. Would definitely recommend.
The food was excellent and so was the service. Altogether it was great value for money. We will definitely be going back there very soon
Lovely food and great service considering I managed it in my lunch hour. I Would highly recommend as great value price for a business lunch.
Lovely meal at a round table for 8. Service a wee bit slow but on a rugby international day it was very busy in the restaurant.
Staff were very friendly. The food good but serving plates cold so food gets cold quickly, although impressed that eating bowls were heated. Will return. Thanks
Always enjoy his place. The food is delicious and consistently good. It of a grumpy waitress last night which is not the norm. She is new and needs some training.
Visited on Saturday really disappointed with the food. Presented in very hot dishes but the food was cold and tasteless. Service was not that great either.
We were here for a late lunch. The restaurant was quiet, I think everyone was in George street waiting for the Christmas festivities to start. We chose the set menu we had spring rolls and prawn crackers the spring rolls were tasty and served piping hot. Sweet and sour chicken and lemon chicken served with fried rice. The sweets were banana fritter or ice-cream or Chinese tea or coffee all for £8.99, an enjoyable meal. If I was being picky it would have been nice if we had been offered a glass of water when we sat down and tablecloths would improve the overall appearance of the restaurant.
Nice meal, good service. Lots of ribs, maybe thicken the sauce a little bit. The wine was nice and the main courses tasty. Toilets need upgraded.
Friendly staff. Great value lunch menu with good range of choices for starters main courses and sweet. Restaurant decor pleasant and spotless with a relaxing atmosphere.
The meal was perfect and we all enjoyed our choice from the menu. The staff keep things well served. We’ve had meals there often and would highly recommend it.
Had the 3 course lunch deal for £8.99. Good choice and value for money. I chose a main course that wasn't on the menu and paid and extra £2.00 to change it. Have visited a few times and it has always been quite busy. Proving how popular the restaurant and lunch deal is. Service was good, and staff pleasant and helpful as always.
Good food at a very reasonable price despite being right in the centre of town. Service was a bit slow which isn't normally the case
Food very good and menu is wide and varied. Unusually the service was quite slow. We eat here quite a lot and it's consistently good. Lunch menu is exceptional value.
Great authentic Chinese food, very friendly staff, good value. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone. Not the most suitable for a cosy intimate dinner for two but if you want all the other good things then it is a small sacrifice to make.
The overall experience was fabulous. The food was top quality. The atmosphere was ambient. The atmosphere was also relaxing and enjoyable. The services was impeccable, and plenty time was given between courses
Nice welcome. Promot service relaxed atmosphere food was good. Staff friendly and attentive helpful to, Have eaten here many times over the years and its always been good.

Staff great and warm. We had banquet B. And it was the best value for money plenty courses to try and such great flavours make sure you have empty tummy before as you just keep eating as you know you don't want to leave anything. It's not just a meal it's an experience you don't forget and pleasing thing is no surprise when you get bill . Thank you for another great memory.
Another good lunch time choice and would recommend this if your in the west end of the city. It’s always good value with plenty of choice on offer today I went with spring rolls and beef curry and both were really tasty. So what else can you ask for in town
The Restaurant is Immaculate. The staff are attentive and very friendly. Excellent service. The atmosphere is ambient , relaxing and friendly. The restaurant is nice and ventilated and not over crowded. The time between courses are at your choice. The food is absolutely Amazing. Fabulous value for money
Fantastic food, great staff and the real deal. I love this restaurant and consider it one of the best Chinese restaurants in the UK. It's wonderfully atmospheric and has a lot of regular clientele. Definitely try it!
The waiters and waitresses are great, food excellent and very reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend both lunch and evening menus. Been several times and have never been disappointed.
Great food, good service and very well priced lunchtime menu. The menu is varied and the portions are just right. Decor a bit dated but very clean and tidy. Eat here regularly.
Good service good food Lovely atmosphere Welcomed to our table even though we were early One of the best Chinese restaurants in Edinburgh Well done
What a super place to eat. This was truly ideal prior to a show at the Usher Hall. The service was spot on and the food was simply excellent.
We had a lovely evening. The food was great and the staff excellent. Menu choices - hard to choose as it all looked so appetising.
A large restaurant with a pleasant ambiance and good quality Chinese food and drink served by attentive yet not overbearing waiting staff. And fortune cookies...!
This is a bit of a hidden gem as it sits on the first floor level so easy missed so don’t let that happen. Keep an eye out for the entrance as you won’t be disappointed the wontons and ribs make for a tasty starter choice and the beef chow mien again a must try.
Went with a group of 4 for a meal and restaurant was really busy - food was delicious and staff were very friendly! Would definitely return!
I really enjoy this Chinese restraunt the location is great for the west end and the food is always fresh and piping hot which is down to the great service. I had the spring rolls to start and my usual crispy beef and noodles. Never lets me down one of these days I might try something else. Give it a try your favourite dish is bound to be there too
Fab good and good service. Try the crispy beef or Parking duck as they are delicious and good value it is always busy so book ahead well in advance. .
