Absolutely love it here book months before we visit Edinburgh my partner says it's the best Chinese he's ever been too .. Singapore vermacheli is the best

Not been here for years. Myself and my partner booked a meal for 9pm I thought it was a bit late but it was lovely still people in but not overcrowded which I prefer overall great favourite of mine.

I have been to the Rendevous Chinese Restaurant many times over a number of years. I have always found the service and quality of the food to be consistently high. In addition, the staff are very friendly. Overall, great value for money.

Service was excellent, waitresses very attentive. Most importantly food was absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back and will be telling all my friends about it.

always good, best Chinese in Edinburgh (and i'm a journalist, not used to giving praise lightly)! Book ahead, especially for weekends. Set menu for £30 is superb.

This is my favourite Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh. I've been eating there on and off for around 30 years and it never disappoints. Nice decor, friendly, attentive (not too attentive) staff and great food all add up to make a fantastic dining experience.

Excellent as always, great food, friendly attentive staff. Just a minor point, I think the wine list could have a bit more choice but for the West End what they have is good value.

Had booked a table and they put us in dark table near the kitchen. The food is delicious thought proportions small and when took a plate we meat it was non existant. Howe ver there was a good qualité-prix

Food usually really good here but last nights food was bland and the service was terrible! I think the guy who is the manager was on holiday and the staff were lost and made many mistakes!

I have been a few times to the Rendezvous Chinese Restaurant and cannot fault the excellent service and food. The staff take your order quickly and efficiently and the food is served very quickly and is always piping hot. The menu is extensive and very tasty. Would recommend (and have done) to friends and family and continue to go there as it is one of my favourites.

The food was Amazing, the service ws first class, the atmosphere was buzzing and overall it was very fairly priced for a city centre location. We will be coming back again for sure

This is the most amazing Chinese ever. Crispy chilli beef is to die for. Lunch menu is fantastic value for money. Service is always excellent

Very good service staff polite and attentive. Large choice of menu all plates cleared! Central location with good transport links. Restaurant to be visited again.

First impressions on entering not good cracked tiles on floor walls grubby hopefully there are plans to re - do the enterence. The restaurant was very welcoming decor warm & inviting Food was excellent, service was very good.

Last night was the first time in four years that I had been to Edinburgh and to Rendevous - just as good as I remembered it!

Had dinner with 3 friends at The Rendezvous last night. Enjoyed it. Good food, attentive waiters (despite the place being packed). Prices are pretty good for Edinburgh. The decor is quite nice too now that it has been revamped.

Nothing too fancy here, just a good, well run, traditional Chines restaurant, serving good food. It's city center so it's no surprise the prices are a bit more than many places, but it's still good value.

Food was fantastic but unfortunately some of our friends had almost finished eating by the time everyone's had arrived. We were only a party of six so I would have expected everyone to get their order at the same time.

Good service lovely food fabulous cocktails - couldn't fault it. Use regularly and always faultless. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Feel so welcome

The Rendezvous never fails to meet expectations. Excellent food and great service in lovely surroundings. We will keep on returning for a great sociable family evening.

Great food, quick and excellent service. Good value for money and a clean welcoming environment. Highly recommended, been a few times now and when Chinese is fancied, no 1 choice!

Still as good as it's ever been. At least 2nd place in my all time list of places that does my test dish, crispy chilli beef. I've eaten here at the age of 7 and now 57 (with a good few visits in between) , hopefully I'll make it to 107 - but the lift will have to be working :)

Been eating at this restaurant on & off for more than 30 years, best Chinese restaurant in Edinburgh. Would recommend it to anyone! Can be busy on Friday's & Saturdays so would always book.

Beautiful food.. Very large portions.. We had the soup for starter, then the curry with rice, and the ice cream.. All was delicious.. The staff were very pleasant and hard working.. Will definitely be back ..

Excellent food and smiling service as usual, surely the best Chinese around. Very reasonably priced with good draught lager and a reasonable choice of wines. Kept us five lads well fed and watered.

Great food, good atmosphere, attentive staff. Slightly annoying bleeping coming from the kitchen if seated round to the right so try and get a seat to the left!

The Rendezvous is a hidden gem situated at the west end of Edinburgh. The three course lunch menu is such good value for money and the service on the day was impeccable. Would recommend.

Excellent friendly, timely service. Food was served hot and was delicious, very tasty and ample servings -we had set menu for hogmanay for 4 and there was more than enough to go round. In fact we did jot finish it all. I have been before and we will definitely go again

was with a group of 6 most enjoyed, a couple disappointed on lemon chicken, one was expecting clear lemon sauce another felt vegetables could have been included. we asked for portion of prawn crackers, but never received them.

First time to the Rendevous and enjoyed it. The food was good and excellent value for money. The restaurant is tired and in need of renovation, but still enjoyed the experience and would go back.

Pleasant environment, good service, extensive choice of dishes and great tasting food providing value for money. My wun tun and lemon chicken and fried rice were excellent. Would definitely go again!

Great service, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food superb and plenty of it. Only negative is the entrance could be upgraded but not really to do with the restaurant. Overall great! Highly recommend.

It is a nice restaurant. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The young waitress we had provided good service. We all enjoyed our meal there.

The starters were very good, but the main course dishes were poor to average. The Chicken Chow Min was dry and served in a cloud bowl. The Thai Green Chicken Curry looked like it was put through a blender. However, the service was good.

Probably the best Chinese food in Edinburgh. Very fresh and perfectly cooked. My only gripe was that the rice portions were very small. I had the crispy chilli beef which was divine.
