Reasonably priced good food with a great choice and friendly service

Busy with happy talking and eating, Good value, well cooked food. Salads with fish dishes were a little basic just rocket and tomatoes.

Generally underwhelming. At least the waiters had the honesty of saying that only a small section of their fish menu is actually fresh, as in not frozen.

Went back to the Regency to celebrate a very special occasion, ordered the same plate of food, Lobster.... just a bit gutted that it was over cooked and rubbery. Will always go back as the restaurant holds lots of memories for us, better luck next time.

Great value. Very fresh oysters. Fish were very juicy with fresh taste. Really like the seafood risotto.

I love this restaurant - great for a family get together. Good quality fish and other food and not expensive. The service is cheerful and quick. The restaurant has recently expanded and we were seated in the new bit. It's good as it meant we were able to get a table for 9 at short notice, even though the place was very busy. The deco and ambience are much more interesting in the original restaurant but maybe they have plans to do something similar in the new bit. All in all very good indeed.

Went to the Regency for Christmas dinner on Christmas Day. The atmosphere, the food, the staff were all wonderful. I would defiantly go back.

Had a lovely meal ,so hard to choose from the menu such a choice . Food expertly cooked and quick. Visited many times and never had a disappointment.

Carlos was amazing in remembering our order perfectly. Service was very good despite a very large party arriving at the same time as we did! Food excellent, as usual.

The food was incredible. The sea view was nice. But even though I made a reservation, I had to queue. Got to the top of the queue and asked for a table outside for two people. There were three four-seater tables and the staff made us wait further 15 minutes before finally allowing us to take one of them. 15 minutes later they took our order. It took them so long to bring out the food that we thought they forgot about our order. 20 minutes to bring out the tap water. Had to ask for the bill twice. When we put the money on the table, no one bothered to collect it, so had to go to the bar and hand it over. Just as we thought we were done, a waiter ran after us, saying £10 was missing. When back to the restaurant to find the £10 on the floor. Customer service was very very poor.

even if you reserved online you still will wait. Food was average. Nothing to impress and lack of flavours. Orders taken incorrect and our drinks arrived after we finished eating. So bad organised. Bathrooms,better don’t tell you. So not happy at all with the bill and all those “amazing “ reviews about the food or the place

The Regency is a bustling, very busy restaurant. The food is beautiful and the service is friendly and excellent. If you love fish, this is the best restaurant in town.

So noisy even in the back room, poor service, adequate food, good price.

This restaurant is like a 70’s throwback but with top quality fish at very good prices. Waiters and waitresses are attentive and friendly and the place is always full of both tourists and locals, families and couples, showing its wide ranging appeal. A little gem in a city obsessed with burgers.
