A return visit to the Regency on a snowy December Sunday exceeded my expectations with excellent large portion of grilled plaice and chips followed by a tasty Creme brûlée in a busy warm friendly restaurant

A repeat visit did not disappoint Grilled plaice was perfect with new potatoes to stay healthy A wide choice of all types of fish and other items

Good restaurant, waitress is funny. Scallop is very delicious! Wine is good, dessert is good, environment is good, highly recommended!

A Brighton institution. Wide range of fresh fish and seafood 100yds from the i360 and the sea. Hugely popular so booking in season and peak times is a must. Traditional fish and chips (I generally go for the haddock) Constant buzz and fast paced environment

I had lobster thermidor somewhere else and it was lovely, I was very disappointed as I have had lovely meals with you before, the chef did not take the lobster out of it shell and do the proper thermidor sauce but just a ordinary cheese sauce on top, my friend who was celebrating her 60th birthday and luckily she chosen the King prawns in garlic which was a good choice and glad she did not have the lobster thermidor as it was just basically a cheese sauce on top she said and also it was very expensive too as I wanted to treat myself too. I did not want to complain in front of my friend special birthday.

I just love this place! I visit Brighton quiet a bit, and we always go here for sea food and drinks and if you want a good breakfast for money value this place is the one! The staff our amazing and always look after you

A Brighton institution always offering a wide range of fresh fish and seafood. Very popular with tourists and locals so booking is advisable. Service is fast and efficient and inside tables towards the back are quite cosy.

We always eat here when we go to Brighton. We have been going there for 41 years and it is still as good now as it was then. The food is amazing, the staff brilliant. We took friends this time who had never been and they thought it was brilliant and will return themselves.

We have been going here for 40 years and go each time we are in Brighton we look forward to the crab salad and lobster each time we are here

The food and service are as good as before. But there are too many tourists, it is best to make a reservation before going.

Great food , fresh , hot and not long to wait to place order and get food on a busy Saturday. Drinks came out quickly and staff were friendly and attentive, will definitely go back and maybe sit inside next time

Delicious food, great value, my favourite restaurant to come when I visit Brighton. Only bad thing was soap hadn’t been topped up in the bathroom.

First time visit to the resturant and from walking in to leaving we was made to feel very comfortable. The service and staff were first class and the food was amazing. Definitely be visiting again.

We are frequent visitors to the Regency. We love its simply cooked, delicious fish dishes. The staff are great too - especially Dino, the Head Waiter!

Late Valentine’s Day with my partner. We arrived earlier and it was not a problem. Food was great as usual. We got the oysters, kings prawns in garlic and cod fillet. The dessert was the best : homemade tiramisu 😊

Great food. Very tasty fish and chips but no Heinze Ketchup so I can't give it full marks :)

we had a booking, when we arrived we were told we had to go to a different room. The waiter took us outside on the street, a few houses further down to the first floor of a house, where there was a room with tables, totally sole less, no atmosphere or staff. We rejected and were taken back to the restaurant where there was an empty table for us!!! Quite chaotic, very noisy. Nobody took care to explain the specials or the menu. We're not going back.

I have been to this restaurant many times...it’s a favourite.. but sadly yesterday I got food poisoning from either the oysters or scallops. Please take care to check the freshness of these items before serving your customers. I have not been able to travel for my holiday today 😢
