Fab food and atmosphere as always. Good value pre-theatre meal. Always a pleasure to visit.

Great food, service and atmosphere. Hadn’t been there in a while but I’ll be back soon.

Very average. Food bland. Staff not particularly friendly and quite scruffy. Dated decor. Certainly overrated, would not recommend

Great menu choices, great value and superb food as always

Asked for them to delay our mains, just at the point they collected the starter plates. When we got them, it was obvious that the meals had been under a heat lamp for 30 minutes - needless to say the texture of the meat was not great after this length of time. At no point, during the meal or afterwards, were we asked if everything was ok, so did not get a chance to say how bad it was; I suspect they knew this and did not bother. Just wouldn't recommend it at all. Place was cold, with electric heaters dotted around to try to help this.

Ordered from pre-theatre menu. Great value and all the dishes were delicious. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Unfortunately the espresso coffees were a bit disappointing, but didn't spoil an otherwise excellent dining experience. I would thoroughly recommend Red Onion, and will definitely be back
