I’ve been to this restaurant before but yesterday’s lunch was outstanding and amazingly good value. Bang Bang Chicken salad to start followed by Swedish meatballs-delicious. Would I go again? YES.

Third time here. Couldn’t fault it. Dined with my mum last week. We both had the goat’s cheese salad to start and steak frites. Fabulous!

Catch-up lunch with friends. Good choices on the fixed price lunch menu to suit all of us. Very reasonably priced wine. Restaurant was very quiet at lunchtime which was a pity. Surroundings are very pleasant and seating is comfortable.

This was my 3rd trip to Red Onion, each time food & service has always been outstanding. Lovely atmosphere and setting. My husband loved the Quigleys home brew. We will be back again when next visiting Glasgow.

Such an amazing evening. Food that was stunningly presented and tasted even better and outstanding service. Will definitely be returning. Lovely relaxed atmosphere and great that the chef was walking around during services chatting to their guests. Went for a 50th birthday celebration and couldn’t have chosen anywhere better.

Good food, friendly staff. Perhaps a little pricey but we had a very nice meal. A little too much light though, dim those a little and it would seem much cosier inside.

I had bang bang chicken and then fish. It was delicious. The service was amazing as well. My boyfriend had scallops and duck, he was so happy about it, too. The atmosphere is cosy and lovely. We had an amazing night, thank you

It was an absolutely perfect dinner. The vegan menu is so varied and all the food was amazing quality and tasted delicious! The staff were very pleasant and attentive. We will definitely be back!

Service excellent. Food mostly very good. My partner said his was excellent but my main dish was overcooked. However without being asked we were given free desserts to compensate so no complaints for that. This was our first visit and we will return.

Very impressed with everything. Pleasant waitress, no long wait for food to arrive, I had scallops for a starter, and it was really good. The duck main course was fantastic, just the right quantity. We will go again.

Had a wonderful meal from the pre theatre menu There was lots of choice and I had the bang bang chicken followed by chicken korma Both were delicious followed by frozen raspberries and warm white chocolate sauce. The service was equally good and I will definitely return.

An excellent restaurant. It was a few years since I last visited but it’s standards remain high. It will not be so long until I visit again, loved it.
