Private dinning for us as we were early diners at 5pm! Starter and main were delicious, I especially loved the French Onion soup

Wasn't the first time we've been there and certainly won't be the last. We used an Itison oucher and it was great value for money for such delicious food.

Food was amazing, full of flavour. French onion soup & bang bang chicken salad. Pork loin with patatas bravas, braised beef with black pudding mash. Highly recommend

Red onion, last night, fabulous dinner, never fails to disappoint... This restaurant has to b one of the best in Glasgow at the moment, great atmosphere, great staff and brilliant food by John Quigley chef, his menu is simply superb. Thanks again for a beautiful meal... I had the bang bang chicken this is a cold starter and the flavours are really Something, chicken strips, salad, peppers, gorgeous sauce and crispy noodles on top, this is quite spicy but wasn't 2 spicy for me ....my main was the lemon chicken with korma sauce and turmeric rice, absolutely delicious! Hubby had the scallops with chorizo and it truly was delicious the portion was a great size too, his main was the blade of beef with black pudding hash with the most delicious sauce, very impressive dishes We ordered a bottle of red merlot wine which was lovely too We received as gift so it was a deal, we paid £27 for the wine £2 supplement for the scallops and £5 tip. Great atmosphere. Excellent service - attentive but did not feel rushed. Food was amazing - loved the sea bass on a delicious salad with avocado, different and tasty.

Great visit and food delicious. What set red onion apart last night were the terrific serving staff. The young girl who had just passed her theory driving test and the young guy who was only on his second day working here. So chatty and attentive without being intrusive at all. A credit to the restaurant.

My wife and I were warmly greeted when we entered the restaurant and promptly shown to our table. The meal that we had from starters to sweet was excellent. Service was very good and the staff were very attentive, overall we would certainly go back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We had the 2 course Itison voucher. Between us we had Bang Bang Chicken salad which was first class and the pate. Then Char grilled Lemon chicken with Korma sauce and the beef. We will certainly return thank you.

My first visit and now my favourite restaurant! There was an excellent range of options on the menu and our selected dishes were outstanding. The service was efficient, the staff were pleasant and I am looking forward to my next visit.

The food was really good, and the wine we ordered was lovely! The restaurant was uncomfortably warm and when we asked to be moved seat we were told there were no others available even though the restaurant was pretty empty.

It’s honestly the best food, such amazing favours and textures and yes it is gluten free. Fabulous food and fabulous service. Very personalised with the owner having a few Words with everyone. It’s a must for coeliacs

Celebrated my 50th and now my 60th at this restaurant, love it

Very nice place. Food was excellent. Really good having a good vegan menu with several options for each course. Only minor grumble ....£5:45 for a small bottle of beer.

Vegan food very good service a bit abrupt plates just plonked down was served meat by mistake but it was quickly corrected . Quick which was good

First time I have visited when in Glasgow , as a coeliac the food options available to me were amazing. Unfortunately having had a starter and a main I was unable to have a pudding ☹️. I visited with 3 friends after our visit to the Kings Theatre what a great end to a lovely day. Everyone raved about their food and the service was excellent. We will definitely be back. xx
