I think they use to be better. The service quality really dropped and I absolutely hate when servers interrupt my conversation to ask if everything is ok. The South African vibe has gone. Now it's just a British-catering place where they expect people to buy drinks. Food somewhat saved it for me. Ribs are a bit on the burnt side, which I love grills, but not when it doesn't leave a lot for meat to eat? I don't know. Also there was a group of people who had their big party and it would be great if the staff could ask them to sit down. It felt like they were having a house party in the middle of the restaurant!

First time at Raw food was excellent staff very attentive.

Really friendly service. Great burgers, yummy pudding especially the Biscoff cheesecake 😋 and we enjoyed 2 for 1 burgers on a Wednesday night. What a great idea to encourage people out during the week! It was quite busy so there was a good atmosphere.

Food was very good. Although we felt a little pricey for the area. Our waitress was very good. I would recommend a couple more healthy sides, perhaps a tomato and onion salad and some French beans

We had a fun evening with our relatives who are visiting from Australia. The burgers were delicious and portions very generous. Meat tender and juicy. Lots of yummy flavours too. Onion rings are a welcome addition, really moreish!

The restaurant has big bifold type doors, so even in the stifling weather we weren’t uncomfortable. Service excellent as always. Just wish they’d bring back the prawn tacos as they were my favourite!

This used to be a regular of ours until we moved out of the area. The visit for this review was for a special occasion. We used to say that it was friendly, down to earth and the best steak we’ve ever had. Sadly, it wasn’t the same this time round, at all. Staff hardly smiled, we waited for service (even to pay the bill!), we cleared our own plates so that dessert could fit on the table, our red wine seemed to be watered down, the steak had been glazed with something strange & chips were undercooked. So sad that it’s changed so much.
