Fantastic food and amazing service, great evening with friends, thanks to everyone at Rajpoot.
Excellent meal this evening and served hot and not warm as so many other restaurants do. The taste and quality was superb. Thank you for a quality evening out.
best curry in years. Interesting menu, not seen in standard curry restaurants. large prawns and tikka fish excellent
I know they were busy but service extremely slow, waited 30 minutes for the bill
Excellent food and service The Rajastan lamb was excellent X
Fabulous food and very polite waiters as always. highly recommend
A little gem. Delicious authentic food in a smart but relaxed dining room . Real service , always friendly . We were 3 generations; from 30 to 94 and we all loved it.
Whenever we go to Rajpoot it is always busy. The service is fantastic. The staff are always so friendly and courteous, The food delicious and cooked to perfection. Thank you all.
This is the second time I have eaten at this restaurant. Having stumbled across it last year whilst visiting Dorchester, I booked it again for my friend and me on a visit this weekend. The food is delicious. The freshness of the ingredients and their flavours is truly yummy.
One of the best curry’s I’ve ever had throughly recommended
Very warm welcome, the restaurant was very clean & we were served efficiently.
The best Indian meal we have ever had. Starters, main courses & desserts all tasted wonderful & beautifully presented. Friendly, efficient waiters. Good value for money.
Wow amazing fantastic super all words to describe a lovely restaurant with awesome food.
We all enjoyed our meal yesterday evening in a relaxed atmosphere.
The food was amazing. Staff were very attentive. One of the best Indians I have had for a long time.
Very impressive.. cooked to order something off menu and was looked after very well
The food is so fresh and cooked to perfection. It is beautifully presented and every mouthful brings a different taste. You can almost feel all the different spices coming together with each mouth watering mouthful. The waiting staff are so attentive too. This is the best Indian Restuarant in Dorchester.
I took a party of 6 they all had a very good time they told me
Extremely disappointing. On a Saturday night it was packed and the noise levels were intolerable. (It has very low ceilings). When we last visited this was a high quality restaurant serving beautifully presented Indian Haute Cuisine. It is now effectively a typical curry house - and there's nothing wrong with a curry house, but it wasn't what we were expecting. Portions were - for all of us - slightly too big, and 3 of the 4 of us left food. We won't go back
Fantastic meal, beautifully presented plates of food, professional friendly service, good value meal. Will definitely go again.
We were seated originally next to a large party, we asked if we could move and they were very accomodating.
My favourite curry restaurant in Dorchester. Yum yum yum yum
Always excellent food and service. Our visiting family were very impressed.
Friendly staff, authentic recipes, and appealing presentation with large portion sizes. Excellent
The food was really good, very tasty. Unfortunately although we had booked a table we were asked to wait for about 20 minutes. The restaurant was very busy. Our starters arrived quickly but we did have to wait quite a long time for our main course.
Excellent menu of innovative, contemporary Indian dishes and a good vegetarian selection plus the traditional UK Indian curries. Our dinner was absolutely delicious, it couldn't have been better.
Very tasty and good service! Would recommend for a good local Indian.
Service was slow but they were busy, one waiter was quite rude infact he walked through a door infront of me and even though he saw yas walking in behind him he let the door go resulting in it hitting me in the face, no apology, he then ordered us to wait in the bar
This is a great restaurant with attentive and welcoming staff. Food is lovely, well presented and full of flavour.
Lovely food, prepared quickly. Staff extremely efficient and polite. Very clean.
Lovely, friendly atmosphere and Fantastic food. Had to ask for a different table and it was no problem at all
Accommodated a large group. Very tasty food, smelled amazing, looked great and good portion sizes. Will be going back.
We have been here and always really enjoyed it! Thanks
Good delicious food, reasonable prices - approx £50/head. Slow but pleasant service
We love to eat at Rajpoot, where the food is delicious and the staff are all very friendly and attentive.
The only criticism was that 275ml of alcohol-free beer would have been £5.50. More than alcohol. So tap water it was. The meal was great.
Pleasant staff....but....we were at the 1st sitting and our choice of wine and main course were NOT available.
Service was good with friendly and welcoming staff. Food was tasty and good quality.
Very good food and service, highly recommend, will visit again.
A Lovely meal enjoyed it very much Back again soon.
Great venue, pleasant surroundings caring staff. Would recommend to friends.
Chicken Korma & Tikka Masala were a few bits of pre-grilled chicken drowning in very sweet sauce with the predominant texture being ‘coconut grit’. Dahl was inadequately processed and still had several large, complete lentils in it. Such a shame because this place used to be great.
Us ladies had a lovely evening, nice atmosphere. Catered for allergies & friendly staff.
Good food. In a room with two parties of 10 or more who were very very noisy.
Food was more than disappointing . Service indifferent Won’t be returning
Excellent food and service. Well worth a visit for quality cuisine.
This is our first ever visit to Rajpoot since moving to the area and this is now our favourite restaurant. The experience from online booking to the food service is fantastic. The menu choices are different to other Indian restaurants (halibut and Lobster for example) and the team are so lovely. The prices are very reasonable and the venue is suitable for couples or large parties. We even met the owner who explained his passion for food and how the menu is put together. A perfect venue for a night out.
Great food and great service. Always make us very welcome.
Bland and tasteless. Honestly couldn’t tell what I was eating. Head waiter was great. Funny. Helpful and attentive. The rest of the staff, dull, disinterested, didn’t seem to know what was happening. Quite pricey all things considered
Good service, excellent food. Highly recommend for a brilliant night out
