A new place for me, good menu . They do 2 for 1 at certain times which is well worth considering

I booked myself a curry in advance of myself attending a concert last night. I have been many times before and again I was not disappointed. The food was amazing and the staff very attentive. Well recommended for anyone who loves a curry and is looking for eating surroundings to match.

It was our 1st year anniversary, we had petals on the table, the service was second to none and my partner was advised on the food and the advice was perfect. She loved the food and at the end of the meal, we had a free happy anniversary desert with candle, it made the whole weekend perfect.

The service, food and drinks at Pushkar are second to none in Birmingham. All the waiters are very attentive and polite without being overbearing. Definitely the best Indian restaurant we have visited since we moved here in 2017. The spacing of the tables are excellent too, giving enough elbow room and privacy for conversation from neighbouring diners. My only gripe, and the staff could not be expected to solve the issue, was that a family were there for an evening meal and unfortunately a baby got upset and was crying loudly. Luckily, it did not persist for too long. The background music (Miles Davis I believe) is a great touch too. Not imposing but a pleasant, relaxing background for when conversation waned.

Excellent venue, great food... definitely a cut above standard Indian restaurants.

Had the tasting menu which was a bit hit and miss. Crab cakes too garlicy. Chicken tikka pie nice. Dal makhani lovely but ckicken kadhai disappoing lack of sauce.
