Wonderful food and service every time, always a great experience

We went back 3 times in 3 nights as we don't know if and when we will be back in Birmingham. The food was really special and unusual choices and the cocktails were to die for.

Lovely contemporary restaurant, attentive staff, beautiful food. I recommend the salmon and scallops to start. And cocktails to boot, what could be better?Looking forward to returning.

We love pushkar, cocktails are amazing my favourite is the Espresso martini. Ray is always buzzing about and comes to have a chat. Food is delicious and I love the scented pages in the menus. The atmosphere is first class.

Excellent! I've been to some very good, probably the best being eastzeast in Manchester, plus plenty of very indifferent ones really not as good, at least to my tastes as an M & S curry! Pushkar is however the best I've been to, I can see why we had to wait until 10.00am to get a table. From the nice bright and comfortable decor through to the excellent service, the food beginning with the humble poppadom, thorough starters to my prawn based main was melt in the mouth delicious and hotter than expected but in a good way. Also an excellent wine list, myself and a friend shared an excellent Rose. Not cheap but sometimes in life one has to pay for something rather better. Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

Delicious food, generous portions. The staff are always friendly and efficient so never have to wait long for service. Amazing cocktails, too. Love this place :)

We were pleased when they asked if anyone was vegetarian or had allergies. We had a coeliac and they had a clear understanding of this allergy. It was busy but there was no delay and the food was spectacular.

Very nice quality food, as expected. Good location and setting. Shame about the service from poor drinks (3 attempts to provide a second drink the same as the first cocktail I had which was lovely- for some reason each one was a different colour) to staff gathering laughing and joking about the weekend and brushing past you while serving!! Twice the waiter came to the table chatted, but didn't clear the plates of finished food. Seems dis-organised on the floor which is odd as there are so many staff. Expensive for what you experience overall which is a shame. It will be our one and only visit I'm afraid.

Great service fantastic food Felt very comfortable throughout the visit and enjoyed the ambiounce and the decor of he restaurant. Drinks were brilliant such a varied selection of cocktails to choose from.

Excellent food and great service. You get what you pay for. The Masala crab cakes were amazing. The ambience was pleasing. However, it did get extremely busy after 2000. If you want to treat your other half to great meal out, this would be an ideal place.

Just the very best Indian fusion experience you will get. Staff are also exceptional. Great cocktails and efficient service also make your meal special. Go now!!

Excellent food, excellent service, if you want fine dining Indian style there's no better place in Birmingham, I'd recommend booking at weekends as it gets busy, well worth a visit

Great service, nice decor but frankly I go to a restaurant for the food and this was absolutely nothing special. A bog standard curry at £120 for 2 is ridiculous. How this won best Indian restaurant in the Midlands I have no idea.

We booked for 12 people at 6.00pm on a Sunday. The restaurant decor was lovely and the service very good. Food was a little hit and miss I'm afraid. Some of us found it excellent and others not so good. Well, I guess you can't please everyone. I am very particular and rated it excellent, something I rarely do. Overall, a little more expensive than the usual but I think well deserved.

This was our first time in Bham so googled to find a restaurant, a shot in the dark. We hit the jackpot with Pushkar. When we arrived Sadiq greeted us, took us to our table and then explained the menu with recommendations to suit our individual palate. We were not disappointed, the dishes were excellent. Each course was delicious with flavour and subtlety. It is a pity we live 50 miles away or else we would definitely be a regular customer. It was my birthday so thank you for making my day . The food is excellent in choice, quality and quantity, something for everyone. The setting is very comfortable, with Staff who could not have been more helpful.

Excellent food and service,not the cheapest but worth every penny.Would recommend any food lover to give it a try,you won't be disappointed.Can't wait to visit again.
