Ate here for my graduation meal with my family and the staff made it special. The food was great - one of the best Indians in Birmingham.
Food very good. Service was great at some points rushed at some points. Decor is beginning to look worn and dated. Very expensive for Birmingham
Had a fantastic evening food and service was excellent. Staff we’re very friendly and accommodating to our needs. Will definitely be going back and would recommend Pushkar restaurant.
We booked the Pushkar on the strength of reviews we had read and we were not disappointed. The lovely contemporary interior was cool and spacious, the staff were without exception wonderful and super efficient and the Indian cuisine was the best I had eaten. A first class restaurant with first class service and first class food. A great experience. Highly recommend.
great restaurant the food and service is always very good. I would recommend to anyone visiting Birmingham. Very modern and contemporary with classic service. J
Really good food, especially the Pushkar Panorama starter. On the expensive side but not outrageous, although drinks were more expensive than I expected (G&Ts and beer - didn't have wine). Service was good.
Great food. Only slightly disappointed because despite ordering cocktails and other drinks. When asked for tap table water. Discovered an additional £14 on our bill.
Very well run restaurant. The food was excellent and came quickly. The choice was a little different from the standard Indian too. Would definitely recommend
Food and service were excellent but unfortunately there was a table of very drunk men next to us who kept shouting, dancing and taking their shoes off and throwing them around. They were not asked to lower their voices or leave which spoiled the evening for us. The waiter did apologize but I felt that something should have been done or at least we should have been given a free drink!
Food is amazing and we have driven over 100 miles to have a special dinner there got to be the best curry out there everyone must try it!
Very disappointed I booked in January for 5th of July as it was a surprise for my husbands 30th rang them twice to make sure it was all booked and could they put little something on the table as its a special birthday they said of course. On arrival didn’t have nice place to sit, nothing on table and food not up to scratch. When leaving I mentioned all this and he just laughed at me and my husband didn’t Even say sorry. Won’t be going back here again.
One of two nice meals here in quick succession - buttery, rich tomato daal makhani and a tasty keema bread. Service friendly and attentive, as ever.
Another great meal at this lovely restaurant who were very accommodating with our request to delay our booking to enable our friend to join us because he was watching the England v Columbia match. A great meal and we won the game as well - a top evening.
The food was amazing and the restaurant had a family atmosphere with calm music which made it more welcoming.I would definitely recommend it to other people
Lovely restaurant. Mix of non-standard curry dishes with a few familiar so was a bit of an adventure - especially the starters so would recommend a mixed platter. Best brandy coffee I've had in a long time! Was there on a busy Monday night so would recommend booking.
Really nice cosy vibe. Nice decor. Food was very yummy. Will be returning. Service was good and attentive. Felt welcomed. Overall excellent experience and great food
Fantastic food in a lovely setting. Will definitely be back.
Stunning experience. 1st Class attention to detail and service to match. My wife and I will absolutely return here on our next visit to Birmingham
Our favourite Indian restaurant bar none. Enjoy a cocktail first and then the consistently delicious food with perfect service. No sign of any oil in these dishes. The cooking is spot on and the choice is excellent. They remember their regular customers and greet you like friends. Always a fabulous evening
Couldn't fault this restaurant, food was delicious, cocktails were amazing and the service was brilliant. Really enjoyed our night and would definitely recommend a visit
Very friendly and helpfull. Did some nice suggestions about how to share differents plates. Our group liked all the chosen plates very much. Nice interior.
We have been many times over the last few years all ways good food and service .We went at lunch so it was a lot quieter so had lost some of its atmosphere .but still a great upmarket Indian . Would all ways recommend to others

A great Saturday night out with friends. Pushkars was fantastic as always. Great welcome, food and service. Cocktails yummy! Would highly recommend. See you again very soon!
Disappointed with the Banquet Menu - expensive at £39.99. Busy restaurant, service quite good but struggled to get rose wine down to a cold enough temperature.
I t was my birthday and I thought I would treat my children and grandchildren to a special meal. I searched the internet to and based on the reviews, I chose the Pushkar. The restaurant did not disappoint and lived up to expectations. The venue was exactly as advertised providing equally good food, service and value. From my own experience I would recommend it to anyone else who wished to celebrate a special occasion or simply a good meal in excellent surroundings.
Some of the decor looks tiered. The food and service were great, but because of the decor the restaurant does not have the ambience that it should.
Upon entrance there was brilliant service. The atmosphere was amazing as well. Couldn’t find a single fault during the visit. Will definitely be visiting again.
Mazing atmosphere, service is always very personal. Restaurant does get pretty busy however you always receive good quality of food, friendly staff, great drinks. Never been disappointed! Definitely recommend!
really great ambience and whole experience was okay and authentic
Excellent food, very friendly and efficient service. The wine was good so was the coffe. Loved the espresso cup design. A very professional and welcoming manager.
Great food, wonderful service, always friendly and although as busy as ever it has never disappointed. Will be back again soon. Always worth a visit for curry fans of all ages.

This is a fabulous restaurant with exceptional food and first class service. It's a fine dining experience from start to finish and highly recommended for anyone wanting an extra special night out.
Food was delicious and staff were lovely but it was incredibly overpriced. I ended up paying £25 for a prawn tikka masala with rice, while I’d requested ‘off menu’ I wouldn’t have done so had I known it would be so expensive.
Excellent experience and food. Only disappointing part was some of the appearance was tatty (menu boxes and seating) and despite being 1 of only two tables in the restaurant (both of which were only tables of two), the waiter did not remember who's food was who's.
Second time visiting, amazing! Can’t wait to come back! Food and service both fantastic
Excellent food, especially the dahi puri chaat and the jhinga tawa masala. Assad our waiter was brilliant, very attentive and made great suggestions. Looking forward to our next visit!
We drove down from Manchester specifically to eat at this restaurant. Including the bill, petrol and a hotel it came to £250 for two. Worth every penny.
Even though we were very late going we were welcomed .The service was excellent and food was good. Wish we had more time to enjoy the good ambience.
We dined after a Symphony Hall concert and had a wonderful time. It's hard to say which was better, the food or the service! Shared scallops and prune/spinach cake starters and had N Indian fish stew and a creamy lamb dish for mains. All absolutely delicious and we can't wait to have them again. Service was impeccable and the staff friendly and attentive but not obtrusive. They picked up it was my friend's birthday and brought him a little cake with a candle, suitably low key and charming, not cringeworthy at all! We loved our visit to Pushkar and will definitely go back there next time we're in Birmingham. Thanks to all at Pushkar!
Fantastic restaurant, great friendly attentive service and the food is amazing - staff are very knowledgeable to assist with your meal selection. Food is presented extremely well and generous portions. Not like your standard indian - amazing fresh interior to the restaurant
Food was spot on and we all enjoyed it. The staff were exceptional, so will go there next time I'm in Birmingham centre. Great service, great food and lots of choice of drinks in a swanky setting. Couldn't ask for more.
Superb food and drinks, with excellent service. This is the third or fourth time we have visited and this was definitely the best experience so far, we will be returning.
Authentic fine dine Indian restaurant. Food reminds me Delhi’s flavours. I always miss that taste of north Indian food In UK ; but not anymore. We loved everything about restaurant. Highly recommended.
Went to Pushker last night the service from Azad and his team was fantastic took there recomandations for my meal and i must say it was the best meal i have ever had
Absolutely awesome restaurant: food was amazing and the service (thank you Azad) was also terrific. Would recommend this to anyone wanting more than the usual sit down and eat lots of sauce and not much else. The food was delicate and spicy and perfectly cooked. A great night
Very nice restaurant with a great decor in creme and gold colors. The waiters are very attentive and the food is good but can be very spicy, you can ask for milder.
For a cocktail bar, the choice was poor. Staff not really knowing what they were doing. Mandatory service charge applied, despite website stating this would only apply for parties of 6 or more and finally, waiter claiming certain dishes would be 'too hot' for me.l, when in fact it wasnt. Not a great experience and wouldn't go again.
Excellent service, awesome food, helpful waiter, I asked for a dish that wasn’t on the menu and it was not a problem. Well worth a visit 👍
Nice food & atmosphere, even dishes they said were hot with chilli were not over the top, whuch meant you can still taste the food, little pricey though.
