Lovely food, cocktails and great service, we didn't get the wet wipes that the table next to us got, but over all a lovely meal!
Top food. Top service. Top surroundings. As good an Indian meal as I've had. Amazing decor, excellent service, helpful and appropriately attentive staff. A must visit!
Fantastic each and every time we go there. Great food, probably the best Indian restaurant we go to. The staff are very helpful with recommendations. You won't be disappointed with this restaurant
Very expensive and can only pick from a set menu When we arrived we was told to wait at bar as the table wasn't ready for 5 people as I'd booked for 6 when in fact a chair was just taken away which took 10 minutes the service was a little slow aswell
Great restaurant and excellent food, my Pushkar Panorama and Murgh Tikka Masala were the best ever. Sadiq was very friendly and attentive to detail. Cant wait for our next visit, total quality in every way,
Smart restaurant with an interesting menu. Prices are not bad for central Birmingham. Staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was tasty and plentiful. The restaurant was just about full on a Saturday evening so the service was quite slow (2 hours for 2 courses), which was not a problem as we were happy to make an evening of it. Will certainly visit again.
There was a wide range of vegetarian options for us to choose from. Everything we ordered was excellent and I loved the baby aubergines! The service was good - vert attentive.
Pushkar is an fantastic place to dine. We reserved a table at lunch time (for my husband's birthday lunch), it wasn't too busy which was nice. Food was wonderfully presented and tasted absolutely amazing, you can understand why this restaurant has won so many awards ! Waiter was unobtrusive throughout the meal and such a lovely guy. Book this restaurant, you cannot go wrong. Cannot recommend it highly enough and will definitely be making a return trip there for my birthday !
Excellent service and food loved the evening. Cocktails are excellent too, if you visit make sure you try one. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will return again soon.
we all very much enjoyed our evening ,and the food was superb. We will be returning again and again thanks very much. Stewart James and freinds
Food was really nice and service was polite. However, towards the end of the meal, my friends and I felt slightly rushed to order the bill by the manager/supervisor as we were constantly being asked if we wanted anything else or if everything was OK and feeling we were getting awkward looks. Disappointed as I have been to Pushkar before and being my birthday celebrations, the expectations were higher than the service received. Also, we saw the lady behind the bar sneezing on the mint leaves as she was picking them and placing them in the glass on the cocktail bar as if nothing had happened - put us off ordering any mojitos!
Very impressed, very nice food, good service, expensive but worth it, whenever we visit Birmingham we will have definitely food again, nice presentation, theme of the resty
Really good. The staff was really friendly and when I told them I was vegan went on to recommend and advise me over what dishes could be veganised upon request. Highly recommend it.
Alway a great place to have a relaxing meal and chill with the staff. Some where to take a group and every one will love it
The service was excellent, the food was very good but not exceptional. All in all it was a good experience. They were happy to accommodate us with 2 extra people even though there was a busy conference on.
As usual an amazing dining experience at Pushkar. My favourite restaraunt ! Nothing is too much trouble and the food is exceptional.A visit is a must !
Awesome food and nice atmosphere. A definite favourite of mine. And the cocktails are great too. A great way to start the evening in Birmingham
Good food but average service and poor bar tending, not as used to be,very disappointed last visit although nice place with good decor and nice atmosphere. I will think twice if I am to go again.
Fantastic mid week meal. Cocktails to die for and the food is arguably the best we have ever had. Great vegetarian options also available along with traditional desserts.
We went for my wife's birthday and she loved it. Her favourite food is Indian and she wasn't disappointed. Here are more words to get to the word limit
Food was very good, we all enjoyed it. Staff were friendly, curtious and if anything a little over zelouse to either clear our drinks, food. Giving the impression we were being hurried. If it wasn't for this we'd have given it a higher score.
We are from the Netherlands and visited this restaurant for the first time in 2011. It was such a pleasant experience that we decided to come back. This time (April 2016) we were in Birmingham for work/pleasure and booked again for dinner at Pushkar. We are very satisfied with this second time. Delicious food, perfect friendly service and stylish cosy environment. We left a generous tip. On a slight downside this time we were placed next to the kitchen and it was a bit noisier that we would wish. Also because the restaurant was completely full - we went on Saturday night. We recommend Pushkar with no hesitation, but advise to sit further from the kitchen.
This restaurant serves slightly better food than average, however it also offered one of the worst customer service on this occassion. I went with my family on wife's birthday. The restaurant was half empty. We asked for a quiet corner table, so our one year old girl can have little bit play time during the food waiting time. We were just ordering the food and a rude waiter/supervisor came to us asked us not to free her, while we were waiting for the order. A rude and un-polite manner put us off and we decided to walk out. Good luck with their bad manner - not for me!
Lovely food, not worth the prices though. Keema naan was bang on, lovely cocktails very strong. Curry was nice but as usual most was sauce.
The restaurant, food and staff were all fantastic and I would highly recommend. I only dropped a star because the pina calada my wife had was mainly ice. The glass was full to the brim with ice which meant less drink. After she had drank it, the ice was still at the brim.
Great food, great restaurant and great service. You pay extra compared to your average but you get what you pay for in flavour and quality. My only quibble is if you offer poppadoms at the start of the meal, at least let people know you're charging £3.50 for them and that they're not complimentary.
From Rai and the entire team, stunning food and hospitality at their absolute finest. Pushkar's is our favourite dining experience in the WORLD. Great atmosphere and an unparalleled attention to detail for returning customers. A cocktail is essential before the great taste journey of the highest quality. You'll never forget a night out at Pushkar's!
The food was delicious, particularly the starter sharing platters. Very impressive service, very attentive and friendly. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed, overall very impress, will certainly go again next time in Birmingham.
great food , slightly expensive but worth it. Good environment, and surroundings, very busy so recommend book in advance. Good service and good menu choice with some interesting special dishes
Great food and service. Would highly recommend. The food is great withoit being over priced and the portion size is just right. Give it a visit
It was a lovely experience. We were given the best service by Huni, generous portions of food and it was delicious. I got really full so was offered the chance to take it home with me. Will definitely be going again.
Booked a table on line after doing Google search for Indian near NIA. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent cocktail selection, will definitely visit again if we are in the Birmingham area.
Another lovely experience. Comfortable surroundings, excellent food, wonderful service and all with the minimum of fuss. Will be back again very soon. Thank you so much.
Food rather over priced and unfortunately nothing to write home about. Sauce needed to be further reduced as seemed rather thin and watery whilst the vegetable korma we ordered as a side appeared to contain chopped mixed frozen veg similar to what you'd buy from a supermarket
Arrived ar 1015 pm on a Saturday night. Restaurant was busy and quite noisy. However, we were greeted by maitre de and shown to the bar. Our table was ready in minutes. I cannot find anything negative about Pushkar. Customer and table service were excellent. Food was simply outstanding and possibly one of the best Asian meals we have eaten. The lamb shank dish was delicious. Certainly will return and tell our friends.
Great flavours and friendly efficient service. Surprisingly good with kids considering the location though the price for children is same as adults but worth it if they are hungry
Service excellent and first course tastes were subtle and delicious . Mushroom rice was tasteless and starchy and the lamb speciality mediocre. At £64 for 2 starters and mains, price was too high considering we only had one beer and one fizzy water .
Great food and good service. Definitely recommend. Had a great time with family. This was my first time to the Restaurant and wasn't sure what to expect. Staff were very friendly and very helpful. Recommended several dishes which were delicious.
Great food and lovely staff! very elegant setting and well decorated restaurant. The prawn main was by far my favourite and the lychee martini was perfect!
Just go! Food and service are awesome. Beautiful setting. Fantastic cocktails. Staff are great. Everything is spot on. Best Indian food I've tried by a long way
Great service and the food was exceptional however I would have liked a larger gap between the courses. My partners cocktail was sublime and we thought that the menu was varied and catered for all tastes.
We had a reservation for Saturday night but couldn't keep it so Pushkar kindly found us a table on the Friday night. The food lived up to expectations. The chicken in the dishes was of good quality and worth the price. The service was friendly and efficient and I would go back again.
The food was just delicious. They were able to cater for all our needs. Staff always ready to serve you, very friendly. The ambience was perfect. Went with friends so was lovely to catch up.
I have ordered chicken beriani and I found the tast has been changed, it was very tasty when I ordered two months ago, but last time it was awful
Alsays a great meal. Recommend this place all the time. Great staff. And good location. Just park in the hotel easy to get in for a good night
Great service , great food , authentic flavours , fantastic location ! a bit pricy so special occasions only ! ! ! ! ! !
Didn't really feel like the waiting staff wanted to serve us. The cocktails were lovely but I didn't think the curry was that great. I've had better elsewhere. Personally, I think that service charge on a table of two should be optional but it was readily agreed to our bill. I was very much looking forward to eating at the winner of the curry awards but unfortunately I can't say I'll be back.
Service charge added to bill of more than 10%, excessive for a table of 2, a tip should be the diners discretion depending on experience
Superb, attentive staff. The food was the best Indian food I've had anywhere... ever! I Can't recommend enough. Will be back when next in Birmingham.
Maitredee was amazing! Lovely, polite man. He made us feel so welcome. Definitely want to come here again as the food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxed but classy.
