Excellent food and fab cocktails as usual! Service slick and friendly. Very helpful advice given to fellow diner who hadn't eaten Indian food before and was unsure what to choose.

Slightly expensive for what it is but great settings and little finishing touches. Would go here again but it's mainly for those special occasions. Good service.

Excellent food, first class friendly service, great wine list with very sensibly priced wines. We returned after the concert to enjoy the cocktail bar and tried the 245 Broadstreet champagne cocktail. They were so good we had a second! The restaurant was very busy all evening and had a really good vibe. We will return the next time we visit Birmingham.

The food is excellent in choice, quality and quantity, something for everyone. The setting is very comfortable, with Staff who could not have been more helpful.

Starter was good, cocktails were good, main meals were awful, had much better at local take away, very substandard lazy cooking. Customer service was good though.

This was our first time in Bham so googled to find a restaurant, a shot in the dark. We hit the jackpot with Pushkar. When we arrived Sadiq greeted us, took us to our table and then explained the menu with recommendations to suit our individual palate. We were not disappointed, the dishes were excellent. Each course was delicious with flavour and subtlety. It is a pity we live 50 miles away or else we would definitely be a regular customer. It was my birthday so thank you for making my day . We booked for 12 people at 6.00pm on a Sunday. The restaurant decor was lovely and the service very good. Food was a little hit and miss I'm afraid. Some of us found it excellent and others not so good. Well, I guess you can't please everyone. I am very particular and rated it excellent, something I rarely do. Overall, a little more expensive than the usual but I think well deserved.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. When they found out it was my wife's birthday they sprinkled rose petals in table, gave us a free dessert, birthday card and choccies

Excellent service and food. Expensive compared to a standard curry house but worth it for a treat. Extensive cocktail menu. Service charge of 12.5% is added to the bill.

We go to Pushkar regularly and the food is the best I've ever tasted, so when you combine that with quality of decor and friendly service , it really makes any night at Pushkar a special evening!! Dave Cox

For a very average meal this was a very expensive night out. Drunk and loud customers next to us didn't help. We will not be coming back.

Great gastronomic experience with excellent customer service and good ambience. Atmosphere was nice. Good choice of non-alcoholic drinks. Vegetarian starter choices were plenty. Didn't get to try dessert as full with first 2 course's

The food was absolutely superb and well worth the money. The atmosphere and service in the restaurant were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal and would heartily recommend Pushkar.

Overall, a really pleasant experience. Delicious naan bread, and my korma was tasty and spicy (although the lamb was a little chewy). Really good wine list. The only downside was my husband being asked to vacate our table for the bar after we'd paid, while I'd gone to the loo and we were only moments away from leaving anyway: a bit too overzealous!

Unfortunately this visit wasn't up to Pushkars normal standard. The food was as fab as ever but unfortunately the service let it down, it certainly didn't deserve the £30+ service charge that was added to the bill as a party of 6. Our starters arrived super quick in fact whilst the waiter was taking our main course order & retrieving the menu's, very unorganised & meant we were giving our orders whilst the starters were in front of us going cold. We then waited over an hour for our main courses to arrive. The waiter did at one point apologise & told us they would be another 5mins, 40 mins later they arrived with one of the breads we'd ordered missing. We decided as it was getting late & had to work the next day to skip desert & go straight to coffee. I brought to the waiters attention mine had cinnamon on top when it was advertised as chocolate to which I was told they sometimes change things for artistic flair??! NO ..... I did not order artistic flair, nor Cinnamon! I can't stand it & was given a marshmallow to get rid of the taste ..... not really good enough it should have been replaced or taken off the bill! Such a shame as normally I can't fault it, maybe Saturday nights are best avoided!

The food was amazing. I had the lamb saagwala and my friends had the tikka masala and the chicken korma. They were all super yummy. The cocktails were delicious. The service was great.

Pushkar restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming staff and food was enjoyable with okay prices. I had a great birthday meal there, i would recommend

Fabulous service, really helpful and made you feel like special guests, great food and brilliant cocktails. Only thing letting the restaurant down is the toilets, which look like public toilet block and about as clean!

We were visiting Birmingham for just one night and chose Pushkar for our evening out in the city. We were not disappointed. The food and service were both top class. We loved it and will definitely return.

The standard of the food is absolutely top quality. It's delicious and fresh. The staff are wonderful and give great quality service and very knowledgeable on the menu. We had several cocktails all of which were expertly made. Usually after the main course dessert can be a bit of a disappointment. At Pushkars the desert is every bit as good as everything else. You get what you pay for and what we got was possibly the best food I have eaten in any Birmingham restaurant. I couldn't recommend it enough!

We booked to celebrate our anniversary. There was a wide selection of dishes to choose from, what we ordered was wonderful and tasty. service could not be faulted and the atmosphere was relaxed. Definitely recommended.

Enjoyed a lovely Kerala fish curry as part of their south Indian curry festival. It was wonderfully spiced with delicious fish that was cooked to perfection.

Best individual main Indian meal I've experienced in 25 years. It's not a cheap venue but there again you pay for what you get. Excellent service. Highly, highly recommended.

Pushkar serves Great Food, good variety menu on offer the food carries nice spices they have great staff and the restaurant has good ambience .

Excellent food and service. Friendly and very attentive staff. When our waiter found out that we were at the restaurant for a special occasion, he brought a small cake to our table on a plate with the word 'Congratulation' written on it in chocolate at end of our meal. A great touch.
