Excellent food and service. Wine choices were also very good. We found the curries on the spicier side of normal, but still very tasty. Would definitely go again
Great food, cocktails and amazing service. The Staff were very accommodating, will visit again. Staff were also happy to adjust my food to preferred taste.
Very nice food, great atmosphere, staff were very polite and helpful with dealing with my wife's surprise bday cake, very nice experience and great place to bring a loved one
Great Indian restaurant with very helpful staff. All the dishes we had were packed with flavour and the mixed vegetable starter plate was different and delicious. I would have no hesitation in recommending this venue to others.
Amazing food and very friendly service. It was recommended by a few people and definitely lived up to what I was told. Would happily go back again.
Fabulous food and great service Relaxed atmosphere Nice place to spend a celebration or just a cosy meal for 2. Will return again sometime soon
Great service. Lovely food x would recommend fish curry.was very nice will be back next time we're in birmingham. Thanks again to all the theam
Best starters I have ever eaten. Lamb chops are perfect. My customers could not believe the quality and all want to come back with their families
Great restaurant with fantastic food as always, shame our table wasn't ready and we had to wait 30 minutes at the bar. Other than that, couldn't fault it.
Good service great food great atmosphere Went here for the first time and will for sure be back. A real Gem on Broad Street. Good vegetarian selection and very fresh
Always the best food, great atmosphere and great service would recommend to any one looking for a good curry our favourite restaurant and will be back soon
had a great meal with the family alway recommend this place. kids enjoyed ate all of their meal with out any issues. and they also give mu wife a bithday gift
Quantity was very less as compare price. I ordered dal makhani but the taste was not original as dal makhani. I ordered salty lassi but it was too much salty.
Excellent all round, wonderful tasty meal with fresh ingredients, thank you Great communication and good value for money, easily accommodated our large party for dinner
Really nice restaurant and food was lovely, however we did have to wait a while before we could be seated. This prevented me from giving a higher score
Excellent as always, food is always spot on, cocktails to die for and staff are so accommodating and friendly. Always look forward to our visits to Birmingham, sad we live 2 hours away. Recommend to all our friends visiting the area
Great Indian food and cocktails. Service was also top notch. We had a mixture of food and drinks. I tasted most of them and can't fault any of it. 5 stars.
I had visited Pushkar with work colleagues before and had a fantastic experience so decided to book a table for my wedding anniversary, however was very disappointed on this visit. The food was excellent, hence the score of 3, but the service was poor. We were close to invisible compared to any larger group, the waiter barely made eye contact and reached across me as I was still eating to start clearing away the side plates. A real shame, took the shine off our celebration of 24 years married.
Terrific food, attentive and friendly service with no sense of intrusion. Loved the decor and special touchs . We enjoyed the Biranyi crusted and opened at the table, the lamb was so tender and fish curry is a must!
Really good food and service. A little expensive but worth it. I liked the cocktail choices and the menu layout. Large well appointed rooms. Would go again.
Great food..excellent service and a relaxing & modern ambience. The waiters were very professional and paid attention to our table- all food arrived on time. To top it off..a book cocktails to choose from!
Good food and drinks, liked the atmosphere as well. Excellent Crab Cakes and staff extremely helpful and attentive even with the fact that the restaurant was quite crowded.
Best Indian food I've had. I recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, lovely atmosphere and comfortable environment. Double six star restaurant. Best
Superb food, waiters were all very helpful and pleasant. Unlike many other restaurants we did not feel as if we were being rushed. Thank you we will return.
Restaurant is decorated lovely, modern and chic, Lovely setting, Excellent food, excellent service and fab cocktails. Will come again when we're in Birmingham. Highly recommend
A great atmosphere and prompt service but very disappointed with the food - the chicken jalfrezi was bland and the 'house speciality' kadhai murgh was again lacking in flavour and oomph. All in all - not great and will not be returning...
Pushkar is a lovely restaurant and the service was good. The food looked lovely but was a little disappointing. Restaurant is a good place but food not as good as your local Balti joint
The restaurant is smart, and large enough to take large parties; service was excellent and the food was superb. My only negative was the enforced 12.5% service charge; I feel that I should be able to make my own decision on whether the tip the staff or not.
Very good food service was good but could have been better as 1of the side dishes didn't arrive until we were having our 2nd part of the main course.Tried to charge us for extra wine & I would prefer to give a discretionary tip & not be charged a service charge
Great food, good service and wonderful atmosphere as usual. Never fails to come up with the goods. One of our regular haunts and we travel from Northampton just to enjoy.
A posh atmospheric restaurant with great Indian food that differs greatly from traditional curry houses. It is expensive though, but well worth it as a treat for yourselves.
My husband had phone to request a special table as we were celebrating 3 years post me donating a kidney to him , we just got a normal table !! Food was ok , nothing special , drinks very expensive for what they were , charged £3.50 for a bottle of water , not offered house water !!! Plus £10 for service charge which wasn't explained before which I feel is excessive !! Disappointed
We had a great pre show dinner, the food and service were excellent and we were extremely happy to have found and dined at Pushka.
Very good restaurant to eat in as a small group or large group. service is good and efficient. Good value of money for food and drinks.
Fab lunchtime menu thoroughly enjoyed, excellent service. Lovely selection of choices on offer for 2 or 3 course meal. Deco was classy and everything spotlessly clean. Food was beautifully fresh.
Fantastic food and service. The waiters go above and beyond to make sure you have a great experience. Lovely cocktails too. I would very much recommend this restaurant.
The atmosphere was great, great service and food and all very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a nice restaurant for a special occasion
Good food in a good location however expensive for what you get. Biggest disappointment was the service took over an hour between starters and main courses and then once we had paid we were asked to leave so they could have the table back, they also managed to forget a side dish. We then received the bill and we had been charged a non negotiable service charge of 10% even though the service was at best "average". We raised this with them but it wasn't something they were prepared to discuss. I think much better options for Indian dining in Birmingham very underwhelmed.
Very observant and really liked the fact that I put in a request for my friend's hen and they remembered her name and occasion when they welcomed us in. Food was amazing!
It was a pleasant restaurant with really good service. The atmosphere was lively without being overbearing. If you are in Birmingham- it is well worth a visit.
A superb night out with the team from work. We were looked after by Sadiq and his team of waiters who were attentive and courteous. Food was divine!
Great food, great service and atmosphere. If visiting Birmingham again, I will definitely book a table. 4 of us could not have been happier leaving.
Not Impressed with the food or service. Over priced food which was bland. Drink service slow and staff didn't seem very happy. My group all concluded we would not return.
Fabulous food and the best service I've ever had in an Indian restaurant! Our waiter spent a considerable amount of time explaining various dishes and even though I've completed a balti cooking course was still able to offer me something I hadn't had before.
The Biryani was excellent and presented very well. The lamb dish was a little stodgy and would have benefitted from smaller chunks of meat. Service professional and attentive. This is a very good quality experience.
The food was very good ( save for the poppadoms and relishes) and there is a good wine list. The service, however, was not. It veered from being annoyingly over attentive and ingratiating with constant fussing from more than one waiting member of staff, who managed to pour out a bottle of wine between 2 people before the starters had even arrived and who gathered by our table for group discussions to one of us having to go in chase to order pudding and coffee. It is overpriced for the overall experience.
Amazing food n nice place to dine. Some authentic indian food worth trying. Would go again. Quite central located. Good service and value for money
Having previously had very fond memories of this restaurant when I had last visited a few years ago, my expectations were high. The decor is superb and we were greeted and seated immediately. The service was attentive and friendly. The waiter took our food order without writing it down, which is where the experience began to sour somwhat. The food arrived in a timely fashion, though was incorrect. The rice was not what we had ordered and the raita failed to come. We were happy to have the rice rather than wait and I politely asked the waiter of the missing raita. Despite this, it again failed to appear. By this stage we were well through our meal and decided to do without. The rest of the meal (Punjabi choley and murgh tikka masala) was good but not quite as delicious as from previous visits. The sundries were excellent. We decided to go for the fruit salad for dessert, which was beautifully presented. Unfortunately the blueberries, blackberries and raspberries contained some which were obviously past their date. I informed the waiter and he immediately removed the whole dish very politely and offered to replace. We declined and decided to get the bill. The waiter was very apologetic and this was certainly in keeping with the general attitude of the staff. I'm certainly not one to create a scene in a restaurant, however I was somewhat disappointed by my experience here on this occasion. Having said that, the restaurant was full. I sincerely hope this was a one off, as I'd always previously enjoyed my visits here. To be fair, the bill was reduced accordingly, though I did have to ask for the phantom raita to be removed. I'm sure I will return again, though sadly I won't be rushing to do so.
Delicious food, excellent service and great ambience. Its definitely one of the best Indian restaurant in Birmingham with wide variety and selection, would definitely visit again.
It was very lovely. But they just took too long with payments. The service was fast and good. Staff are friendly and kind. Great restaurant.
