Purple Pakora - Marple Bridge

The food and service is excellent. You receive a wam welcome on arrival and nothing is too much for the staff to ensure you have everything you need . Every attention to detail and the staff clearly take pride in their work.

Booked online day before but had to wait for a table when we arrived as they seemed to be overbooked. Food was delicious though well worth waiting for.

Lovely food, a bit slow with service and rushed towards the end with people Waiting so moved us off the table before we finished drinks.

Parking was very easy. The atmosphere was relaxing, the service was very good. Food was delicious. The toilets are clean, but in desperate need of updating.

I had jalfrezi and there wasn’t enough sauce very dry, apart from that it was good, the staff was friendly and helpful. I’ll still come again.

We had a really great meal and the service and surroundings were excellent . We had a lovely night and will certainly go back again.

Brilliant menu to choose from with modern and traditional dishes. All four of us had different dishes and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything tastes really fresh and the naan breads are fab too. Definately recommend.

Had a lovely anniversary meal at Purple Pakora Marple Bridge. The food, atmosphere and service was fantastic. I would highly recommend Purple Pakora to anyone.

Food very good. However the restaurant refused to honour the Meerkat Meals offer of 2 for 1 for up to 6 people on starters, main courses and desserts. We had a party of 4 and they would only deduct the cheapest starter and main (we did not have desserts). Everywhere else we have been who do Meerkat Meals have given us 4 for 2 on starters, main courses and desserts. So in future we will instead be going to the nearby Indian restaurants who give the full discount on Meerkat Meals.

The popadom dips were our first indication this place was going to be good, and we weren’t wrong! Good portions, great flavour, nice service. Would def recommend and would good back again.

The restaurant room was little too dark can see manual I had use phone torch to see. Food tastes was good I like to see what I eat.

They were unaware of the booking the service was poor it was poorly lit and the meal was late overall poor experience won't go back

didn't even know we'd reserved a table, whats worse is they wouldn't even accommodate us in an empty restaurant. this was an unpleasant experience and I won't be using either quandoo or the restaurant again.

Been a few times and food is always great,plenty to choose from so can have something different everytime,good indian beer and service is spot on and staff always around incase you need anything,lovely atmosphere will be returning again soon.

Had a lovely meal here tonight was are first time here .Great food friendly staff well priced.had a breather in between starter and main courses. And enjoyed it all. Fantastic decor. Would recommend to anyone.

Food is good. Great choice. Service good. Limited desert menu but that was of little concern. Getting the bill to the table was slow but hey ho!!!

Excellent service, polite staff, bright and airy interior, spotlessly clean. Food was of an extremely high standard, well presented. Highly recommend, will be a regular customer from now on.

We Had a lovely time great food and wine and good service, what more can you ask for will definitely be visiting again sometime soon.

I whent her last night for my dads birthday and the food was lovely, and they put the happy birthday song on and had the cake they was really nices. Would defiantly going back xxx

The meal was good, nice place. It was more than a little distracting to have waiters constantly walking past the table and hovering, would have preferred to feel left in peace to enjoy the meal a little more but that's a personal choice.

Really nice food, pleasant staff. I would go again. Interesting water feature which took me back to the seventies. Nice pub down the road too.

Service was poor. Took over twenty minutes after arrival before a disinterested waiter came to take our order (they weren't busy), and that was only after I had to *ask* someone to take it. Ordering a drink from the table took over 10 minutes to arrive. Food was OK, but nothing special. My partner's Dopiaza was as hot as my vindaloo, which she found really hard to eat. Also, nowhere near enough rice for the amount of curry delivered. Very unlikely to be back.

First time we have been and the experience was good. Food was good, service was prompt, can't complain about the value. Good parking facilities, only thing I found is, if your eye sight is not 100% you will struggle to read the menus in the subdued lighting. We will be returning, it was a good night

Food was fantastic and the environment was lovely. My only concern is that the staff run around to quickly which makes you feel like your being rushed a little, however did not spoil our evening thank you will definitely be back.

The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, giving our children a balloon each and understanding their need to run around! Thank you.

Always a great experience and this time was no different. We love the Purple Pakora and are constant return customers. The food was great and the service was good too.

Enjoyed our meal and the food was excellent. Only a 5 because the service was a little bit slow. But wouldn’t stop me recommending them to others.

The food and service was good but the restaurant itself was freezing cold and we had to sit with our coats on also it’s very dark do had trouble reading menu

Food was excellent but the service was very slow. 40 minutes before anyone took our order and I had to ask for this. 1 1/2 hours before the starters arrived. Ordered a jug of water along with wine and beer. They only gave us 2 glasses for 4 people. However couldn't fault the meal itself.

I felt the restaurant was very dark, and quite cold. We couldn't really see the menu due to the lighting and was sat next to the fire exit and large window near the back which I believe was where the draft was coming from Not sure the staff knew who was servicing our table, we had two waiters ask the same question Food was nice and would go back :-)

Table booked for 6:30pm, seated on time. Starters arrived of popadoms and chutney tray with drinks about 15 minutes later.... this is where it all went wrong. Numerous tables seated after us given starters main, paid and even left. mentioned to a staff member where is our main?? Another 15 minutes which I presume was them cooking it as they had forgotten to and eventually our food arrived. Food fabulous as usual just the service left a bad taste as it was our 10 year anniversary night out 😞

Good car parking pleasant people pity about the lack of heating maybe it was because there were only a few patrons not surprised after eating as the fare was poor and overpriced on the whole an expensive lesson will not be visiting again.

The food was good, the restaurant was very quiet so the there was not a lot of atmosphere. The staff were friendly. We will definitely go back.

The food was very nice service not when the starters arrived my wife was told hers would be 2 mins I had tikka starter wife ordered samosa hers was 15 mins later by that time I had eaten mine and she had eaten just her salad side then same thing with main meal wife's meal came with her rice mine came without chips told they would be soon after asking twice they finally came my wife had nearly finished her meal this was at 6-30 and place was quiet god help them when they are busy we told the waiter who basically wasn't interested

Food is always good. That's why I use the Purple Pakora but timing for ordering was slow and it took long time to be served hot drink. I understand that their coffee machine was broken but they need to update customers as soon as possible.

Lovely food as usual so would definitely recommend this restaurant. My only criticism is that the lighting is a little too ambient for my liking, had difficulty reading the menu!

Great food and service, not a cheap meal but value for money considering how great the food tasted. Lovely venue ideal for a nice romantic meal or few beers and a curry

Unfortunately this time my experience wasn't good. There was 10 of us, food was delivered at random times. Chips and rice missing. A portion of chips for 2 people when the other was sat across the other end of the table. Waited an hour to receive and pay for the bill we had to ring the restaurant to get the bill as no staff in site. Also two tables had been booked rather than one so half my party was sat at the wrong table at first. It wss a celebration that was ruined for me.

turn us away after waiting for 30 mins as we had booked on line and not by telephone!!! we were disgusted to be honest wont be going ever again

The restaurant was really nicely decorated. The food was gorgeous. Had to order the drinks a few times as they were very busy but no complaints!

Food lovely service not so good a bit of a mix up over Groupon offer but sorted in the end restaurant is gorgeous think they need some customer service skills

Not been for a while and forgot just how good the food is. We also careful this time not to over order as the portions are good.
