Good service and excellent food. Attractive decor , very cosy. Reasonable prices. Had the set lunch menu and found plenty of choice. The wine was very reasonable for a restaurant too.

Proper food, served by excellent staff. Wish the restaurants in France were this good. Iberico pork is especially good. Took parents for a late mother's Day treat and they loved it.

A wonderful and relaxed meal, a surprise treat for Mothering Sunday. Complimentary glass of prosecco and leaving treat of macaroons were very welcome touches. Excellent menu with real French cuisine, attentive but not overpowering service from the staff. We all managed 3 courses and the quantities were just right, one felt happily satisfied without feeling stuffed. Food well cooked, arrived on hot plates (bonus!), well presented and delicious. What more could one ask except to return again and again.

Perfectly nice evening in Pig Halle. Steaks came a tad overdone and the gratin were quite small but the service was very good and it's a lovely atmosphere.

Pig'Halle is a cosy, friendly French restaurant in Perth, Scotland. The décor gives the ambience of being in an inner city Paris eatery whilst the friendly staff make customers feel at home and very welcome. The menu is varied and reasonably priced and the food is beautifully served and tastes exquisite. I would not hesitate to recommend Pig'Halle to anyone. An absolute treasure of a restaurant and the ultimate dining experience!

Though we loved the baguette and the tapnade as an amuse, other dishes were not surprisingly good. However the staff were very friendly and supportive.

First visit and meat eaters very pleased quality as was the staff was excellent. Bit disappointed with my salad as lacking taste but it was fine. Veggie/vegan options limited but this is the normal in restaurants and I am sure if I had asked for something they would have accommodated. With the quality and choice they offer would be good for something different for vegetarians rather than pizza/pasta.

Love Pig Halle in Perth! Been several times for lunch for birthdays and days when we needed cheering up. Food is deliciously varied and French, as are the very friendly helpful staff. Great wine list - we had the Malbec Mont Rocher - soft and plumlicious. Our lunch included fresh homemade bread with two dips - one with chickpeas and garlic and the other tapenade as we poured over the menu. Followed by eggs en cocotte with black pudding and fragrant French Onion soup for starters; meltingly moreish Boeuf Bourguognon with creamy mash and a side of crisp fresh vegetables to follow. Puddings were offered and looked delicious, but were reluctantly refused (as we were too full) and we finished with excellent coffee and more Malbec. Another long, leisurely, contented lunch in Pig Halle - the perfect way to spend a Sunday!

We took some friends along to the Pig'Halle for lunch today and they were most impressed. The service was excellent and the menu very tempting. Those of us who had the Pork Shank Special were particularly pleased with our choice. For deserts we had the "four little surprise delights" with coffee - and we were delighted with what had been arranged onto the slates which were placed before us. All in all a great meal - we will certainly recommend it to other friends which I am sure will make us very popular...

Food fantastic! Helpful staff with useful recommendations about sauces and wines, and also information about how an unusual ingredient might be cooked. eg flat iron steak, and Iberico pig shoulder. The restaurant was very cosy and had a lovely flavour of France. We didn't have to wait long between courses and the prices were very reasonable given the quality of the food. Will certainly go back and would recommend Pig' Halle to anyone who likes good food cooked in a traditional French fashion.

Another excellent, tastebud tantalising, lunch. Hand Dived West Coast King Scallops & Black Pudding Assiette de Charcuterie La Bouillabaisse Ribeye Steak Le Plateau de Fromages Francaise All complemented with a nice house Malbec. A chance meeting with an old friend developed into a very enjoyable extended lunch. Nothing was too much trouble.

Great ambience. Food flavours very good. Unfortunately our starters were very over cooked, scallop and a pigeon breast. Bouillabaisse not the best I've had but ok, I felt that TWO mussels was if anything either a waste of time or stingy! Our other main course, the assiette Pig Halle was excellent. Dessert of chocolat moeleuxand salted caramel ice cream and café gourmand were both first class. £69 good value for money. Just a real shame about severely over cooked starters. Will return.

Really tasty food and relaxed atmosphere. The wood pigeon breast served on haggis was amazing, as was the French onion soup which I had as they’d run out of scallops. Ribeye steak was yummy and hubby’s bouillabaisse was a modern twist. Totally recommended.

Authentic and very tasty French style food. Good value for money on their set lunch menu, giving a choice of 1, 2 or 3 courses and a selection of 4 dishes for each course, plus daily specials. This was our 6th visit, this time with friends and we will all definitely come back. Well worth a visit.

This was a revisit after a year or two: I was impressed first time round by the bravery of the original menu for the British palate, and I was looking forward to more of the same. Sadly, I felt a bit let down. A scallop starter with boudin noir was OK - but at £8 a single scallop cut in half wasn’t really acceptable. It lacked seasoning, as did the frilletts that my partner had with her assiette. My pig’s trotter parcel was again woefully lacking in seasoning, tasting mostly of pork fat, and was accompanied by some inelegant and greasy thick cut fries, rather than the crisp, french fries that I was expecting. An apple and calvados reduction that accompanied it was acceptable, but over sweet. My partner’s halibut was marginally over cooked and desperately needed seasoning. Service was barely adequate. At £75 for two, with a glass of wine each being the only drinks, it’s disappointing to say that the best part of the meal was the olive tapenade that came with the bread at the start...

Pig Halle was excellent! The service was very friendly and efficient. The timing between each course was perfect which encouraged us all to have a desert!! The food was first class. We were all very impressed with everything we had. The pudding was outstanding, reminded me of some of the creations on Masterchef. We will be back, thank you!
