Staff are very pleasant. Not the best seating area available, I sat next to a large window with a freezing draft for 2 hours. Food good without being special
Brilliant, just what was required, but I knew that already because I had been there before and also Beauchamp Place and Fulham Road. All excellent, does what it says on the tin!! Thank you.
good food, good service, been going to Patara for 10 years and it never disappoints. we had the set banquet which had a good variety of dishes, we ordered a few extra dishes but we didn't need them as the portions are very generous.
everything is perfect.good cocktails.large chice of plates. The service is fast.the situation is just near the regent street in the middle of shopping place.then a place to discover
WE REALLY LIKE IT AND WHEN EVVER WE STAY IN LONDON AND HAVE MEETINGS WE ARE GOING TO HAVE DINNER THERE. SO WE RECOMMEND IT .....
I've been here twice and the food is excellent. The lobster pad thai and sea bass curry in particular are incredible. Would recommend this place!
My visit is on Valentine's Day with my boyfriend. At the very beginning, drinks are fine. However, pad Thai had the hard noodle stick. And the lamb curry is served cold. I asked the waitress to help, she is really impolite and unpleasant! Really annoying! Worst experience ever! Bad service and cold food! I will never go there again!
The food is beautifully presented and with amazing flavours. The service is elegant and efficient. The business lunch menu is great value and plenty for a hungry person.
By far the best Thai restaurant. The food was exceptional and well presented and full of flavour. When I'm in London again I definitely will be visiting again.
Great atmosphere and service. Location was so convenient, close to Oxford Circus underground and easy to find. The food was excellent, my stomach came away well satisfied.
Brilliant food, great service, lovely cocktails. Handy location for Oxford Street. It a restaurant I love to visit and will do so again and again!!!
Perfectly adequate a bit on the noisy side they managed to bill us for 2 drinks that were ordered but never arrived which is always annoying. the food was tasty but the over billing leaves a bad feeling.
Great restaurant with high-quality food and service! Even though the prices were a bit high, but the food was great! Easy to find, and a quiet street around Oxford Circus.
Absolute rubbish service. Took 35 mins for starter which we had to remind them twice. Found hair in the soup. Ask ice cream and couldn't give and just gave us te Bill. Will never ever go there !!!
Lovely evening, great food ,cocktails and wine! The restaurant was busy but service was good!Booking this way was quick and easy and I would def recomend it!
Great service and good choice of vegetarian food! Sweet corn fritters are a must try! Really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant. Will be back!
Food was delicious but table was not ready for the time that we booked. Also a little over priced, especially wine list. Service was good.
Great food but they kept us waiting for our table which was a little annoying. We were on time but we had to wait 15 mins for a table.
Good service and amazing food in the heart of Mayfair. No waiting time at all and absolute obliging staff are the highlight of the place, coupled with a quiet and classy atmosphere (except for the French gentleman sitting nerby who was being extra loud and not being asked to turn the volume down).
Presentation, Service and food all deserve a high rating. The Maddox Street one is less noisy than the Soho branch i find but then you don't get the atmosphere of Soho.
Great service, however the staff were a little bit pushy when it came to ordering each round. We had 3 people ask us to have dessert approximately 5 times within 20 minutes. In terms of food, the tuna tarta wasn't as good as expected, the vegetarian green curry was too watery and the pad thai was a little too sweet and lacked flavour. The highlights were the mango salad, summer rolls, lamb shank and sea bass in dry paste (not the broth one).
Nice atmosphere. Always busy. Authentic food. Good service. Would recommend.
Good food slow service others got mains before us even though they came after us - the tofu and mushrooom kebabs were great and would recommend
Always great food and great service - a genuine Thai experience. Wonderful to have such quality just steps away from Oxford Circus, so I always go there when in the area.
A very good restaurant, nice décor and environmental, decent food and excellent service. Perhaps too expensive for what the food is, but then you are in London.
Patara at Maddox Street is one of my favourite restaurants in London. I discovered it in 2009 and have been bringing friends and family here ever since. The food is always well cooked, subtle in taste and beautifully presented. A wide menu, charming staff and a friendly atmosphere. I have always had a good meal here. Last week's lunch was no exception. One of my guests is coeliac and the staff were most helpful in producing a menu listing all the dishes which were gluten free.
Good restaurant Nice food Good service Highly recommended We went to the Kensington branch
One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in the 40 plus years I've lived in London Mean portions cold food flavourless crayfish served instead of prawns Singha. beer sold at £6 for a 300ml bottle Would have probably been better sever at our local Thai restaurant We expect better for the West end and a bill of £90
The staff were friendly and the service overall was great. We were sitting downstairs and found it quite noisy. The staff also started to clean the restaurant at the end of the night whilst people were still seated and enjoying their meal which was not great. But overall - I would recommend
Excellent food, friendly service. We chose the banquet menu - many different flavors, all very tasty. But a little too much food and too large portions. Overall a rewarding experience.
Fine dining style Thai food but slightly too expensive and portions were quite small. The atmosphere is quite good for an intimate dinner setting, and service was okay.
