Always a great restaurant, never disappointing food is delicious and service great. This is my fave Thai restaurant in London and for me the best out of all the Patara restaurants.
nice place and atmosphere - the first minutes takes you back to Thailand. the food is OK. not exciting thought. I remember it was better few years ago.
Excellent food but sat downstairs in the basement level which was a bit too quite for us. Reasonable prices and overall value for money experiance on the night
Have been here for the third time now, and service is always very friendly and efficient. Food is always great, too. Loved the Tamarind duck and the sliced beef steak dish.
Very nice food, brilliant service. Was worth. Would definitely go again.
Service was very good. We had a reservation for 9pm but turned up earlier and they were very helpful in accommodating us. The food was super, as was the wine. Lovely evening!!
Patara Oxford Circus is still quite good but has lost some of its shine during the last years (tablecloth has had some stains, seats were not cleant properly from pervious guest).
As always the food amazing and the kindness 10. We arrive with a child and they gave us an excellent place for us to be comfirtable and also other
The staff were very rude especially as they had made a mistake in calculating the bill. Instead of receiving an apology from them we rather received verbal abuse. Never again will I attend there
I have some friends coming to visit from Dorset and I wanted to take them somewhere special the food and the service was exceptional and I would recommend Patara to anyone
Lovely restaurant. Service is very good and the food is lovely. It was very, very hot the evening we visited but there were fans and air con units situated near our table. I would definitely go back.
Good food and service though a bit expensive than usual thai places being chain the food is still good. I would recommend it for q nice evening with friends.
Very good pad thai and tuna carpaccio. However, the restaurant was terribly noisy due to a big group of people who litterally screamed the whole time
Lovely service and delicious dishes - I had the lemon grass lamb chop with a piquant green papaya salad and sticky rice balls - fantastic to be tempted out of my Thai ordering habits and with my expectations infinitely exceeded too!
The food was quite good, the service was also quite good. Prices were a bit high for us but it was worth it. Restaurant set up was quite nice, and spacious as well
Attentive, friendly staff, food was delicious but bar lacked atmospher rather narrow - more like sitting in a corridor on your way to the dinning area. Great for dinner but perhaps have your apertife elsewhere
Nice welcome on arrival, food was good and excellent value. Restaurant has an authentic atmosphere. Some confusion, however, when taking the correct order was slightly disappointing.
The food was absolutely amazing- possibly some of the bext Thai we have ever had! Staff were friendly, could have been slightly more attentive but the quality of food certainly made up for it! Worth every penny!
Extremely poor GF menu compared to every other Thai we eat at, they had no knowledge of the ingredients in their food and then after ordering they came back to say that one of the two starters on the GF menu actually has gluten in it so we have to have the other starter! Overall pretty poor.
Lovely food, drinks and surroundings, this was my second visit and I will definitely go back! Lots of vegetarian options as well as great meat dishes and sides!
Overall a nice experience, but starter platter felt expensive compared to other starters. We had an issue with rice arriving quite a bit after the main course and the it was cold and hard. The staff worked hard to rectify the situation and provided a free dessert.
Consistently good food and service since its opening. Other Patara group restaurants in London and Europe have proved to be of the same standard, a factor throughout the Asian chain as well.
Nice service. Good variety on the sampler. Chicken curry was tasty. A lot of food and left quite full without adding on the soup or any other extras.
Amazing food, fantastic presentation and great service! All worth it! Very polite staff that tended to every request patiently. And a great variety of dishes available
It's my second visit to this restaurant, having found it by chance, and it lived up to expectation again. It's friendly, comfortable and relaxing with attentive staff. The food is delicious and plentiful, with a wide choice on the menu. There is no rushing you to leave, but booking is probably advisable as it seems very popular.
Fantastic food and service! Thanks to napoleon and other team for a lovely evening. Highly recommend the mango cheesecake with salted caramel ice cream and jasmine seafood rice!
I had coconut rice with lamb shank. One of the best lamb shanks I have had. The staff were lovely. They made you feel welcomed. Our waiter was very pleasant, attentive and joyful. Would definatly recommend
The food was amazing. It was a really modern take on great classic Thai food. The location was fantastic and very easy to get to.
Best thai food in London! Food is gorgeous, portions are generous and prices are reasonable for London. Service is very good and friendly. We visit regularly for good food.
A bit of confusion with the starters that arrived after the main courses but despite it the food was delicious! Would definitely recommend and return!
Poor service from start to finish. Been here a few times, very disappointed. Requested food to be spicy, no effort made to ensure this was completed.
Wonderful food and great service. Very attentive, and the lamb and ginger was the star of the show. Pricey, but such good food it was good value for money.
Amazing!!! The food and the service were very very good. Definitely coming back :) I ordered Green curry with coconut rice and chicken pad Thai. They were both very tasty.
The service was excellent as every time I go and the food is amazing. I have no bad comments about my experience, it was perfect.
Lovely setting and good selection of food but slightly pricey. Good sized portions and very tasty Thai food with a bit of a twist and combines some European dishes with a Thai makeover too.
Nice Thai food but a bit overpriced for the quality of it. I've has better Thai in London and not paid as much. Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere though.
Really very good and very attentive staff. Scallop starters were best for me but the green curry was also really really on the button. Thanks
on arrival we found the restaurant did not have our booking!! Kindly make sure that you are both connected otherwise you will have some very disappointing customers. Anyhow they were gracious enough to find us a table after our spending time at the bar having a drink. Most of the dishes were very good but the service from the senior staff was excellent. The serving staff need a little brushing up. We will return to eat there but will ask the kitchen to spice up the green chicken curry which seemed to be made for the UK palette. Overall experience was very good.
Four people for lunch and only two people were served. We waited 5mins and nobody brought the remaining dishes. We had to ask three separate people and nothing was done until the fourth person we asked finally acted on the situation and took the two dishes away because they were now cold.
Excellent food, excellent service. Still haven't managed to get a table at the window but it was full so that's forgiven! The crispy beignets salad is absolutely divine.
Messy service by a waitress who did not understand English. Appetizers were brought to the table with main dishes, some of the guest did not get either and side orders were forgotten.
Great service and food starting from friendly host, followed by attentive waiters. Food came fast, good wine list. Traditional Thai food with sophistication. Well recommended.
To expensive to the value of the meal. Slow service . Food taste almost nothing. Springroll was burned in the end. The meat we send out again it was raw.
Fantastic Thai restaurant. Delicious food and fantastic service. They also have a fantastic barman who has an extensive cocktail list, adjusted to your taste. Definitely one to try.
Great service! Some meals better than other but not bad overall. The red curry needed abit more seasoning and the portions are quite small. .
Ok food but nothing I would rate above average in taste. when it comes to "inventions" they have some new interesting Thai-inspired dishes on the menu but even with that in mind I wouldn't rate them higher than 4 out of 6. A bit overpriced in combination with "pay extra if you want rice to your Thai-meal" does not gain the overall experience.
The food was delicious no faults whatsoever! The presentation and atmosphere- again no faults. Very expensive though. It's £50-60 per head average whether u drink or not. But I will be going back.
We had an Easter lunch at Patara. The food served was very delicious and the portions served very generous. The staff were very polite and friendly and the whole experience was very enjoyable. Highly recommend.
Excellent food if somewhat over-priced, fairly attentive service (though they should have offered to take coats) in an attractive ambience. The loud unsuitable music was turned down on request, but they didn't have any Thai music (or anything else appropriate).
good food, good service, been going to Patara for 10 years and it never disappoints. we had the set banquet which had a good variety of dishes, we ordered a few extra dishes but we didn't need them as the portions are very generous.
