Awesome service and amazing food! Highly recommend the duck curry with lychees and tomatoes, as well as the pad Thai with a lobster tail. Outstanding!!
Relaxed atmosphere, attentive service and excellent cuisine (the satay was wonderful) made this well worth the visit. Patara is a gem tucked away off Regent's Street.
Lovely food and service will definatley go back again!! They also suprised my wife as it was her birthday and i thought that was a really nice gesture
Great restaurant nice decor. The food arrived quickly and the service was good. Would come here again next time we are visiting London in the future
Taste of Patara is an excellent, value for money deal. The service was exceptional and the décor and environment was really elegant. Loved it, had a wonderful time.
The food at Patara is always good and service is reliable as always. The restaurant gets a little warm in winter when the heater is on, but is overall a comfortable restaurant to dine in.
It was ok ... a bit pricey even by London standards ... would not rush back sorry to say ... staff very attentive food average
The food is very nice, it's a bit pricey but worth it. The staff are friendly especially Napoleon who is very accommodating. It was a nice experience.
Great food and service. We have been coming here and various branches for years and we have never been disappointed. The service is always attentive.
Dined here for the first time on recommendation from my brother in law for my wife's birthday and everything was brilliant. Amazing service! Great tasting food and very attentive staff! I will definitely dine here again :)
Very nice place, delicious food and professional staff. Nice wine menu as well. I'v been there 8 years ago, and i was already happy. Nothing has changed
I really enjoyed the food. The chicken curry was delicious. The ambient is very pleasant and the staff was polite. Great place for work lunch.
I regularly have lunch at Patara Maddox Street and I have always had a good experience. The food and the service is consistently good, which is a sign of quality.
WE arrived earlier than our booked time, but they were pleased to welcome us. When booking I had requested a quiet table as I am deaf and also have hyperacusis. The maitre d' acknowledged my request and showed us through to a table which they had put in an alcove by the window away from the other tables. It was absolutely ideal. We had two gorgeous cocktails to start. I can thoroughly recommend the passion fruit caipirinha , which was just the right balance of sweet and sharp, with a good kick of chahaca to boot. My daughter enjoyed her lychee martini too. We opted for the set menu for two and were not disappointed. Highlights included the most succulent and flavourful chicken satay, and deliciously savoury prawn salad, and some very cute little flower shaped dumplings . And also mustn't forget to mention the fish cakes. All were served with accompanying dipping sauce, peanut sauce and a thai version of bbq/hoisin sauce. And that was just the starters. We had declined the soup, so went straight on to the main courses. The table was heaving with an array of dishes including a chicken and aubergine curry, the most delicately cooked sea bass in a light batter, stir fried vegetables with just the right amount of crunch, a slow cooked fragrant beef dish and sticky rice. We also ordered a Pad Thai as this is my daughter's favourite dish. We had way too much food, but it was so delicious we did our best to eat as much as we could. It would have been nice to have slightly longer between the mains and the dessert, but this didn't disappoint. The chocolate pudding turned out to be a fondant, absolutely oozing with delightful chocolate sauce, and accompanied with a tasty raspberry coulis and some vanilla ice-cream. So despite being full, I managed to find a space to fit it all in.
The wait staff was incredibly friendly, attentive and helpful. The food was very good. All in all we enjoyed our choice and dinner at Patara. I'll be back.
Great location. Lovely décor and pleasant ambience. The food was really tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. The service was really good and we didn't have to wait long to get served. Would definitely go back!
Great night .... Service was great, food was good. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for. We had a slight issue with our umbrella, which is very minor bur the management was outstanding in resolving the matter.
Great food and excellent service Staff attentive and there is a great atmosphere. Vape for money and also extensive wine list See will certainly return.
Very good quality of food, with lot of choices for vegetarians and lovely atmosfere. The service was really kind and accurate, the flavours fresh and tasty
It was not my first visit to this restaurant and, like all the other times, they did not disappoint. The food was excellent, the staff very attentive and there was a great ambiance. Great for special occasions!
Great food, good waiting service and a lively atmosphere - we will be returning soon to try some of the other dishes on the menu
Warm welcome - good food and excellent wine. Service was impeccable - this is the third visit of our Supper Group. A very good evening.
it was a nice experience. Good service and also great food. Highly recommended to those who like to experience nice Thai food or happen to be around the area.
For us this is always a "must visit" when we're down from Edinburgh and this weekend was as good as ever. The scallops in lime and chilli starter were succulent Kings, the Tom yum with prawns excellent and I would recommend anyone try the stewed beef in coconut milk, not spicy just amazing. ......and a superb Chenin Blanc for £22, can't wait to return!

Ambient and cozy atmosphere! Very good presentation of dishes and amazing flavours. Excellent service and very good value for money. I would definitely recommend it!
Affordable fine dining with excellent quality. Friendly astmosphere with a very good service. No issue with booking. Took ample time to explain menu prior to taking the order. 7 persons.
The food was supper, and the service was perfect, I love the interior as well , I always choose Patara every time I visit London
Food above average compared to most Thai chains in London, but also more expensive. Veggie side dishes cost what main veggie dishes cost elsewhere. However, I did enjoy the veggie dishes - with nice amounts of garlic and chilli.
Had a lovely evening, food and wine was great . Great service however, would have preferred a table upstairs . We had booked it a week in advance so was hoping an upstairs table.
Very nice atmosphere, service and food. Just not happy with the portion. We had business lunch which is a two course meal. Even after the main dish, we were still hungry. Restaurants are about good service, good food and eat enough to leave feeling happy. You don't know until you order how small the portions are.
Great menu, dishes were full of flavour takes you back to Thailand. Wine list was extensive. Presentation was impeccable of the dishes. Service was very good too.
Great food and service. True Thai experience in heart of London. Menu packed with delicious delights . Main dining room is a bit noisy, but manageable. Downstairs area great to escape to if upstairs noise prevents you that quiet space for business or private conversation.
Service was good staff was very polite but we had the vegetarian testing menu for tow but we are desapoited about the food was not that great and so much tofu dish I think can be much better than this
I had high expectations and overall was disappointed with the food. The scallops in my starter were totally tasteless although the accompaniments to it were tasty and delicately prepared. My main course of duck curry had hints of fine cuisine but somehow disappointed. All portions were small especially the rice portions. The ambience was quite good. Overall it was not great value for money.
Food was really delicious and the service was very good. Atmosphere was a bit quiet, but it did pick up as the evening went on.
Great service and great food! Enjoyed the experience and very much felt like we were back in Thailand! Thank you to the staff will visit soon.
Nice atmosphere, beautiful place but staff were ill informed about the menu and had to keep going to the chef to answer our questions! Bit chaotic.
Wonderful ambience , good service & tasty food. Only thing I felt was portion size bit small as compare to price but excellent quality food. We had order for 2 portions of vegetarian spring rolls, chicken satey ,egg fried rice ( big portion) with chicken Thai curry & veg Noodles. Pricey but classy restaurant at quiet place. Would recommend to visit.
The staff was very kind and the food was really good. If you want a good address for a Thai restaurant, I will recomand you The Patara.
Just a not so good experience. There are only ~10 vegetarian and gluten free options and they are all average and overpriced. We felt really uncomfortable when we saw the menu and we did not have many options to choose from. We would have left but it was friday and nowhere else had probably a table.
Food was wonderful, service was great! Nice environment, although the portion of the food is not big, it's pretty filling. 5 dishes cost around £80,its definitely worth it.
Very attentive staff, from greeting at door to table. We had three different servers constantly around, drinks were quickly replenished. Food was excellent, well presented and tasted great! highly recommended. Only downside was a very loud group close to us, making it difficult to have a decent conversation.
Great service, fantastic food, ... as always! We love this place, and all the friends we ever invited there loved it as well. One of our top five in London.
Staff here are very nice and friendly great service. Nice surroundings was a busy night but was served well. The food was fresh and flavours were lovely. Would return again.
I have dined at Patara on many occasions, always enjoy the food. Depending on the occasion or your budget, there is an excellent choice of menus.
Very good Thai food. It is not very expensive but it has lot. Recommend!
Fantastic authentic Thai food just off Regent Street, London. Great Service. Must try their wonderful signature dishes for a remembered food experience. I will be back soon.
Food, service and decor was truly amazing!! The drinks and food was served on time and with impeccable presentation. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful experience for our anniversary at Patara- Oxford Circus!
Exceptional restaurant, in a quiet location just off Regent Street. Food is delicious & I can recommend the Banquet for sharing, which I have enjoyed several times. The staff are friendly & attentive. I would suggest pre booking for later evening to quarantee a table, as I have only been there early evening and It is very popular.
