Good food but very expensive. £5 for a side of rice is overkill

Amazing food, amazing service, lovely place. One of the best Thai restaurants in London, especially the Hampstead restaurant! 👍🏼😊 Highly recommend trying it out. 😃

Tremendous selection of some of the best Thai food available .with good service in comfortable surroundings.The prices may seem on the high side but are certainly worth every penny.

It was lovely, the place is very cozy and the customer service was great and so kind all of them, and the food was so good too even though is bit fancy but it’s worth it. We sure go back soon.

This is a lovely restaurant, the staff are so friendly and attentive. My husband and I enjoyed our visit here. The food was so lovely. Will definitely be visiting again.

all good, food is good, people are nice nothing to complain really. minimum of 25 words to blag about, curry, tom yum, Chang beer and some random potatoes on the ceiling

The service was fine. The food is below par! First of all I found all the food very expensive and secondly they are trimming down on flavours! Authentic Thai food is full of rich flavours. The food tasted a bit bland in my opionin.

The food is great and the service is very friendly but its a bit on the pricey side. Fab cocktails too. Would go again for a special occasion.

Great service, great food. Highly recommend Patara Hampstead to anybody looking for a modern (yet authentic) Thai option in London. I was surprised at the quality of the food experience, especially having a bias that you can really only eat good Thai food in Thailand.

Food was wonderful. Service very friendly and efficient. The restaurant has a nice ambiance. Having been told that we were there to celebrate my husband’s birthday , he was presented with a specially prepared dessert with a candle on top!

Beautiful Thai restaurant with the price still reasonable. Staffs were very helpful and pleasant as well. If you would like a romantic Thai dinner after Hampstead Heath stroll, I would definitely recommend!

Fantastic Food and Service as ever. Have eaten here many times and it never fails to impress. Can strongly recommend The Black Cod, and Lobster Phad Thai, also the Beef in Coconut, but really its all great food!!

This chic restaurant has excellent ambience and great service The foods was close to authentic but at times too sweet, at times not spicy(heat) enough The prices are on the higher side, so recommended for a celebration etc The black cod is one of the best dishes they do

Great quality Thai with excellent range of dishes. Quite expensive. A bit noisy when full on a saturday night. Fast and attentive staff. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Food, Atmosphere and Staff. Not sure why we were sat upstairs near the Drinks service bar which was a bit noisy, when there were lots of empty tables on ground level and the room off the area we were seated. Otherwise I would have given Patara top rate.

Excellent service. Although, we were a few minutes late to arrive , the staff greeted us with a generous welcome and a pleasant smile. Food was really tasty and good and so was the service. Will recommend to my friends any time.

I'm unable to comment on the food because after 45 minutes of waiting to be served, we left the restaurant. The restaurant was half empty and the staff were more interested in standing around chatting amongst themselves than serving the customers.

excellent food but service was poor. had to wait 40 min for drinks...starters even came before the drinks! politely asked waiter for service 6 times and were just ignored each time

Patara is one of my favourite Thai restaurants in London. The one in Hampstead in addition is in one of my favourite parts of the city. Atention is very good and the food consistently good. I recommend this place to anybody visiting London.

We had a superb meal. The food was excellent - beautifully presented and the service was attentive. It was a birthday celebration and we were surprised with a complimentary dessert and candles - and Happy Birthday of course! Thank you. We have also had luch there - there is a very reasonably priced set lunch. Highly recommended.

great ambiance, very tasty food and superb service. Overall a very happy evening! We would definitely recommend the place. I took 10 of my friends and they thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Now I will be taking my family!

It was very nice but didn't have the same menu as Maddox st. Branch So quite limited and I feel the Two soups weren't as good as Maddox st. Otherwise it was nice

Excellent meal. i've only given 5 stars not 6 because the wrong meal was brought to our table and my partner had to wait while i was eating.

Lovely restaurant with exceptional staff. Love the buzz of the place. We had gone to the opening a year or so ago and loved the restaurant. And its in Hampstead. Love it

Food was OK but i expected better. Service was OK but I expected more. Reception was OK but I expected It warmer. Thé price was high ... as expected

Excellent personal, very focused customer service. Fast, quick but delicious food served at great standards! The second time i have eaten at Patara but this was my first Hampstead experience. Beautiful.

The food was good but the service was a little slow as the restaurant was rather busy. Nevertheless, it was an enjoyable experience and I have no problem with going again.

We had delicious food and great service - highly recommended... if you love Thai food. Everything was tasty. Super local restaurant, cosy friendly feel to the place.

We come from the Far East and have tasted many Thai cuisines. Patara is truly authentic and the spices were flavourfully balanced. The ambience was good, as was the service. We had mostly seafood and they were all fresh. A very satisfying dinner. 6/6

Great food but horrendous service They can't cope on busy evenings We didn't get our dessert and they rushed us to get off the table when we were not finished

We ordered from the vegetarian menu and the course arrived without the sauce. When we enquired where the sauce was , we were told that because we have a shell fish allergy it was omitted. What about being vegetarian? How is that being served on a vegetarian menu?

Took them a while to find the reservation. Very strange smell in the whole restaurant as if someone had been sick. Ordered a starter to share which then came with the main course instead. Main course was cold and had to be sent back.

Food in the restaurant is nice; not super for how much the place charge for it. The most dissapointig thing was; that we felt constatntly rushed by the stuff to leave the table within 2hrs after arrival.at the end we got extra hour; almost like a"treat" this isnt how relaxing evening should look like!

Okay food, dreadful service. Constantly waited for everything. 50% full restaurant, had to wait to get seated, had to wait to get menus, waited to get service, waited till after our mains arrived for our drinks, waited to get the check, waited to get the check corrected and finally waited to pay. Maybe worth a takeaway.

The food was very good, however, there were some errors with the order and also the bill, these were resolved after I highlighted them. I would dine here again.

Amazing food, service and surroundings. Everything was delicious! Recommend to everybody for a celebratory meal. A bit pricey but worth it and you know it is good quality.

Very good meal. 5 of us for Mother's Day- a couple of orders didn't get through to the kitchen but otherwise food and service excellent.

The food is fine, but the service is not attentive. Ambience is good. The waitress should give us a warning about the last order for desserts.

Amazing food and superb service! 👌🏻 The wine and drinks list complimented the food perfectly and the staff were happy to advise over dishes we couldn't decide about.

Very good food, the mixed seafood in curried sauce was excellent - in fact this is the third time I have had it, although other dishes also recommended. Service a little slow, on a not particularly busy evening, but overall a very nice dining experience.

food was lovely service was slow would probably be better if they stopped trying to do deliveries as they seem to be struggling keeping up i was also charged for a singha beer that i didn't have

Service wasn't great, food was ok but arrived all at the same time, had to ask to take hot food away and keep warm. Generally ok nothing terribly negative but not sure I would rush back.

Majorly overpriced for the size of portion and ridiculously slow service - annoying when you have to call a waiter over rather than have them approach you. Also, they put on 12.5% service charge even if there's only 2 of you

Excellent food and very friendly service. The taste of patara menu is great value for money. We will definitely be going back there again soon.
