The staff were friendly and took the time to go through the menu with us and answer all our questions (we were a big group). They kept our wine topped up, and some of the dishes are prepared in front of you which is great to see and adds theatre.

Perfect from start to ending Thank you for me and my friends

Very disappointed. We were most likely the only Americans in the dining room. A party of six regulars who arrived well after us were served at a much faster pace. We waited long intervals between courses. Our starters were good. Particularly the scallops and smoked salmon. But the mains were unsatisfactory especially the sole which I could not eat. Management was kind and did not charge for that plate. The minute steak was just average and my wife said the lamb was tough. My daughter loved the tarte tatin. The wait staff were kind and attentive and I can’t fault them.

We enjoyed the experience enormously. Real authentic French cooking to an exceptionally high standard.

Just awful. Snails in oily over tomatoey sauce, burnt fish followed by under cooked fish (all sent back) tried the lamb but it was raw and chewy - sent that back too. Underlit cheesy basement dining room could not disguise the rubbish food. Just dunno how this place has a reputation

Duck theatre, can’t get that anywhere else, needs no starter!
