Obsession of India

We enjoyed our meal and the staff were very friendly. The presentation of the food was very good and the service we received was excellent. we would have no hesitation of recommending Obsession to any of our friends.

Good was fantastic. Staff very friendly and went out there way to make sure we were enjoying our meal. Relaxed atmosphere with now rush to move on.

Could not fault a thing about this resturant, food was fantastic and the staff were brilliant, we were there a year ago when Cammy was starting up and he remembered us from then, it is the best Indian food in Glasgow.

If you like Indian food you will love this. The spices are fresh as, and the service is excellent. Seats around 30, so book a table to be sure.

The food was delicious and the service excellent. We also did not feel as if we were sitting on top of other diners. We were a group of four and would all highly recommend Obession of India.

We were recommended the restaurant and we were not disappointed. Food was excellent with no colourings or additives. The staff were very attentive but not overbearing. The manager was very helpful in recommending dishes. He also advised that if we did not like what we had chosen we could send it back and pick something else- very refreshing approach! great food, fresh ingredients, good service. a wee wait when we arrived as previous sitting was overrunning but staff very apologetic. asked for recommendation on curry which was spot on. definitely recommend and definitely go back

Moderate. Its reputation exceeds the actual value. Just a decent Indian restaurant. Poor rice options, plain or fried. The nan not as is should be.

Great food ... Really nice owners .... Don't be put off with decor or street as it's not the plushest place but I'd go back and it was full and they were turning people away .

They went over and above to make sure we enjoyed our meal, offering us the opportunity to send our food back if we didn't like it and assuring us that our vegetarian meal will be made differently and with different utensils without us even asking.

Great food, great service, and great people. Highly recommended for a reasonably priced Indian meal in the heart of the city. Will return next time we are in the Glasgow.

Lovely time at this restauarant. Food was tasty and well presented. i had chicken patia which was the correct colour and flavour not luminous red as in other Indian restaurants. Will return in the future.

Amazing find...staff are lovely,polite & know their stuff. Vegetable pakora was lovely & light and my main of Chilli garlic Tawa was just perfect...accompanied by a great thin nan & piping hot chips! Was very busy and was just the back of 5...good sign. Will be back again soon....thank you.

We felt us very comfortable in the Obsession Restaurant. The staff are all very friendly and you have the feeling of being among friends. The starters and main courses with their different spices are highly recommended. We are very happy to come to the Obsession again.Lothar and Anja from Germany

Good enough food however service wasn't great. Arrived at restaurant and there was no record of booking, had to leave and come back to allow staff to get table ready. Food was a bit of a wait, I'm assuming they were short a pair of hands in kitchen. Bit of a let down to be honest.

Perfect dining experience. Delicious, authentic Indian cuisine. Staff very friendly, we sat for nearly 3 hours but no pressure to leave. It was my partner's birthday and they even brought her out a delicious homemade slice of chocolate cake - on the house and delivered with a fine rendition of 'Happy Birthday'. Couldn't recommend highly enough. Will definitely be back.

Great food and service. Food is very authentic and without additives and colouring. I've been there twice within past week and highly recommend this restaurant. They are still improving the restaurant itself so don't be put off because it's not had a major refurb. The food and service are what's important to me. This will be one of my regular places to go. Went with friends and family so was able to taste several dishes. Amazing flavours. Peshwari naan is best I've tasted. It's a must!

Excellent food and service. Curries had amazing depth of flavour, and all tasted different from each other. They made lassi for us even though it wasn't on the menu, Wish they were in our local curry joint, instead of being in a different continent!

This was our 4 visit to this restaurant , it ever fails to please. Excellent service and food delicious We went late this time around 9.30pm and still the food and quality was to class Highly recommend

Superb food with no additives, great service and the waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and recommended a dish as a better alternative to a Madras curry, the Chicken hot pot! Which I would strongly recommend still had the kick of a madras but the heat didn't overpower the other flavours in the dish! All four of us at the table were very happily please with each of our food choices and we weren't left feeling that bloated way you get with Indians that add all the additives to their food. Great little find and we will be back again soon that's for sure.

The food was really tasty and enjoyable. But we had to wait really long for the start to come and then it was about 2hours later our main came. Staff were really friendly. Would like to come again but puts me off as we had to wait so long for food. They did make an extra effort and put up birthday banners for my daughters birthday as well as valentines balloons. Nice touch

Food took a little longer than usual but the waiter explained everything was freshly made. Was definitely worth waitng for - the food was delicious!!

very friendly staff, amazing food. if you do not like the food, they well bring you something else for free (even though i assume that never happens, because it is so good). will definitely come back!
