Friendly welcome. However, the table we were put on was directly under one of the speakers and the volume was more suitable for a late bar not a restaurant. Also when we looked at e menu a large glass of white wine was around £17 which is ridiculous even for London. We left before ordering.

We were a table of 6 on a Friday night with one gluten free guest. I rang to check what food was available to this person to be told it was Pizza only night. They said they could do gluten free from the main menu as didn’t have gluten free pizza dough. When we arrived the pizzas on offer were from a set menu with a set price. Starter, main course and dessert all on pizza bases and a very limited selection of Main toppings. The gluten free was salad or aubergine parmigiana, or one chicken dish which was either cold on the salad or hot. My friend opted for the salad which I could have made better at home. The pizzas were very average and when we all refused a Nutella pizza for dessert the finally agreed to offer ice cream instead. The entire evening was ruined by the abismal food, although the waitress was as helpful as she could have been. Having been to the Obica in Covent Garden which was amazing, this was a real let down and never to be repeated.

Starters were excellent. Pasta was average. Service was great, but overall quite expensive, particularly the Prosecco.

We were seated in the big booths near the front of the store and away from everyone else so made it more like it was just us there.
