Went for an early Christmas lunch while visiting our son. The food was delicious, and good value for 3 courses. Our waitress, Karen, was lovely and super kind. She brought a plate of chips out for our grandson to eat while he was waiting for us to have our starters. Highly recommended.

We popped in for a Christmas Family meal and we were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious and the venue had a wonderful atmosphere. What really made it special for us was that our two dogs were welcomed as much as we were and the Doggie Menu really made their visit. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you.

We were in the area for a Christmas event at cragside and found the Northumberland Arms on Google. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Very kid friendly and the staff were lovely with our little girl. The pub was decorated for Christmas and we had crackers on the table, much to our little girls delight! Food was absolutely incredible. What a gem!

A bit of a wait for our good, as they were so busy - but definitely worth waiting for! Amazing!! Lovely roast beef and giant Yorkshire pudding 😀

Unfortunately a very slow service, was almost an hour after our arrival before we got our food.

Xmas menu again this year was very good The deserts, sticky toffee being outstanding . The only slight issue the sprouts were not sufficiently cooked, otherwise mains good

A nice quiet (though discreetly festive) atmosphere on a Monday evening (though it was two thirds full). Good polite unfussy service, a pleasant homemade mulled wine to start, two excellent starters, then a generous turkey main with several trmmings for me and nicely cooked and presented duck for my partner. No room for pudding! My red wine was very acceptable though not special. Overall the quality justifies the prices, which are quite high for a pub but fine for a restaurant. (It is both.)

Delicious food. Friendly staff. We ate early so the restaurant area was quite quiet. The bar area had more atmosphere and cosy fires. Will definitely return.

Lovely Sunday lunch and great service from the lovely, friendly staff. Our table had beef, lamb and chicken and everyone was pleased with their choice. Puddings were fabulous too!

Great steak and service, it was quiet likely given it was a Monday evening but cannot complain, would definitely return!

Another lovely visit. Some really interesting options on the menu tonight. The pork belly was particularly delicious. Service was good, as always. Just a bit disappointed by the kids chocolate brownie. We've had it several times before and always been delicious. Tonight it was incredibly small (one bite), dry, and cold. Won't put us off though, but hope it improves for next time, as our daughters favourite.

First time visiting NA in a long time after a recent friend recommendation. Did not disappoint. Absolutely delicious. We are planning our next visit soon. Lovely to see Claire and Trevor.
