They serve excellent food at reasonable prices. Wide choice of guest beers so plenty to keep you going back. Lovely rural setting and country feel to the pub.
Good menu choices and a great selection of beer and cider. The staff was very friendly and service was fairly quick. I would recommend this pub if you are in Marple Bridge.
Good friendly service, food was delicious and good value for money. Overall would recommend The Norfolk Arms to everyone, nice friendly atmosphere all round, we will be returning.
Great atmosphere and friendly service from the staff and owners. The owners are always looking to do things differently, entertainment etc,to ensure a good time. Food very good with a varied choice to suit all tastes.
Great food great service great vibe great music! Does this sentence get us to twenty five words or do I have to type some more?
Great for kids. Food was simple but done really well. Good choice of beers and nice atmosphere and excellent friendly service. Definitely worth stopping in for a visit
Love the atmosphere, food and service...no matter what time of day or Occassion; and this particular lunch consisted of one visiting mum, my 2 year old daughter and a new puppy.
The atmosphere in the pub was good. Staff were pleasant. Temperature was a bit cool. Food was very average especially for the price- steak small, ham fatty.
Nice pub with good food. The only issue that we had was that no one pointed out there was a specials board, so the menu felt limited.
It was a special occasion, the staff where very friendly and showed us straight to our table. The food was good and fresh, would of like some extra fresh vegetables on the table.Would most certainly recommend.
Proper pub - decent range of well kept ales, a log fire, dog-friendly, and great service from the staff. Almost forgot the food - also excellent!
Indifferent service. No knives and forks, or paper napkins, wrong meal given at point of serving by 'staff' to member of group after asking who was having what. Atmosphere good.
I drink in the Norfolk and occasionally eat there. On every occasion I have found the food to ge good and the staff polite and friendly. Would recommend the fish and chips. ....wonderful!
Brought my family for my mums birthday hoping to have a Sunday roast but they were off the menu as well as many other things, Would of been nice to maybe get a courtesy call beforehand, do appreciate it had been busy that day, however the food and service was lovely as always
Great food and great service and love how many dogs were there Good alcohol free beer and catered for my vegan husband and my veggie diets well too
Went early for tea and service was great and kids enjoyed listening to the live music. Food was just ok though and a bit overpriced for the quality.
Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Good value for money. Staff were polite & helpful. Lovely old pub, dog friendly, with lots of character. Would recommend.
Nice food and atmosphere, staff were helpful. Tip for the guys serving, don't be so hasty punching the amount in to the credit card machine, some of us may want to reward you with a gratuity. Tip for the restaurant owners, turn the heating up upstairs in the restaurant, - nice cosy fire downstairs, freezing upstairs - you ruined a great evening out and all the attention on the food is wasted. Everyone had coats and thick jumpers on, observation is everything. Put this right and you have a great place to eat.
We had a fabulous meal at the Norfolk Arms. The food, atmosphere, music and friendly staff made our night really enjoyable. The food was absolutley delicious and can't wait to go again.
Cold eating area, undercooked burger, onion rings that were over cooked (to the point of being burnt and were more than likely cooked twice.) Shame as they do great beers. Maybe they should just drop the food and stick to ales.
Pre-booked a table for 8 for lunch with a group of friends, all of us from Leeds stopping off on a day out. We were all impressed with the quality of the food. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the range and quality of the Real Ales available was excellent. It's just a shame we don't live closer.
This is an excellent old style Inn with good food but spoiled only by the fact that despite our meal being early evening, several standard menu items were unavailable which severely limited our choice. Staff were however excellent and obliging.
Fresh home cooked food, roaring fire and a great gin and tonic! Oh and the dog was welcome too! Did book a table but only got busy as we were leaving.
Thank you for a great sunday lunch, very attentive barmaid who looked after my wheelchair bound mother very well. Only very infrequent visitors to the area but would certainly use again. Thanks
Great selection of beer. Friendly and helpful bar staff. The atmosphere was warm and friendly with excellent free live music. Clean facilities. Would highly recommend this place.
Good food, very good beer, but very noisy (both the music and the general crowd). More lively pub than restaurant, but still mid-week probably quieter and lunch -time too. Recommend for the food and beer.
Staff helpful and friendly, but not intrusive, and food well presented and delicious. Good range of beers available, many from local breweries rather than the usual big few.
Lovely venue, amazing food. Had a bit of a wait due to a number of large groups dining at the same time, but otherwise recommended.
Great Sunday roast. The pub has a good selection of Ales and Lagers that change regularly making it a pleasant drop in on the way back from the station. Quieter upstairs than in the downstairs bar if you're eating with the family.
Amazing Beer, Unbelivable Burgers and all round brilliant experience. Staff were so friendly and helpful and also a cheaper than we expected for such a nice place.
We went early & it was nice & quiet. The food was totally delicious. The waitress was lovely & the timing excellent. Lovely venue to celebrate my hubbies birthday x
Visited the Norfolk before and enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere, range of beers and wines. Food is great value although less pastry on the pie, less potato wedges, less tough gammon would help! Gents toilet still without lock and toilet roll holder after more than a year. Now the Norfolk has established itself, growing up and maintaining a lead is required, which if ignored would be a disappointment considering the hard work that has been put into revitalising both the pub and village.
Great service, very good food and fantastic atmosphere. Highly recommended. We went on a Friday night and was easy to get a table upstairs. We have been in a few times for drinks but rhinos the first time we have eaten but will definitely be heading back for both food and drinks
Great night. Delicious food, attentive staff. Slight criticism it took over an hour from arriving to get any food. Room also very hot but staff opened a door to cool it down.
Very friendly staff, good choice of food which arrived quite quickly. Parking is a problem in Marple Bridge but once you've found a spot it's definitely worth the visit. Will return. Sue, Essex
Very cosy pub with a great atmosphere.food was excellent, very fresh and flavoursome.large selection of beers and lagers and very friendly staff.highly recommend and will visit again soon
Lovely food and excellent service. The waitress was exceptional very friendly and polite. The eating area of the pub was nicely busy ensuring a lovely atmosphere. Overall couldn't fault it.
Fantastic food however service a little slow. Took 2 hours for main meal and a drink. Great atmosphere, a little warm but overall an enjoyable night!
Great Great pub. Warm welcoming atmosphere. Rustic tables and seating Excellent quality great condition ale. Interesting menu and tasty food. Can eat downstairs in the pub or in the restaurant upstairs. Helpful friendly staff Highly recommended
Great pub, eclectic decor adds to the interesting ambience of the place; food is excellent! Service cheery, well worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Most enjoyable!
The food was lovely and the service excellent. The atmosphere was relaxed but this was a mid week meal. I recommend this pub for both a meal and a drink.
Great food and good selection of drinks. Service was good and the pub is in a lovely location with a lovely country pub feel to it
I have often been to the Norfolk for a drink, this is the first time I have eaten there. Food was well presented and reasonably priced and the staff friendly.
