Great food, was presented hot and fresh. Great Service, friendly and good advice on what to choose.

As always, a great experience. Amazing food (we tried the sweet and sour prawns this time, which was delicious!) and very welcoming staff.

Was our 3rd visit and had several takeaways which we've always rated highly, however this visual a little disappointing. The restaurant was nearly full at 7pm and they had a staff shortage and a couple weren'tthe most efficient, so we waited a long time for food. Unusually the dishes we had were well cooked (tender lamb & chicken) but taste wasn't as special as we've come to expect from thier standards. Maybe a one off and certainly will go back, but the least enjoyable so far.

I love it here - the food is always top quality and the staff are friendly. They do some interesting dishes too, not just your bog-standard curries.

Our meal was delicious, really tasty. Service was brilliant & ambiance superb 🙂 Would highly recommend!

This was our first visit to Monk and it won’t be our last. We really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Every single gentleman we came into contact with was so considerate, friendly, polite and just lovely. Nothing was too much trouble. They explained the menu extremely well but weren’t pushy at all. And when the food did arrive it was hot and very tasty indeed. Quite different to a normal Indian restaurant. We will definitely be going back to try more of their tantalising dishes. Thank you for a really lovely evening.

Very pleased with the service, staff are always friendly and very helpful. Staff were very professional and followed all Covid-19 guidelines. Food was delicious, and filling as always. My partner and I were very pleased and enjoyed our first evening out together since having our little girl during the lockdown. Would definitely recommend!

Much to our surprise a couple of the dishes were not the standard we normally receive. I am sure this is just a one off and has not put us off booking again

We took 2 manufacturers with us for dinner (1 Canadian the other English) both enjoyed the food so much they have added it to their list of places to eat when in the UK/area.

We had the Sunday buffet and considering we were their only booking due to Coronavirus issues we were presented a good selection of food. The food was great as was the attentiveness of the staff. Well done in a difficult situation. We Will certainly be going again when we are in the area.

We booked a table for 8 people for 8.30, arrived at 8.35, not table for us, !!!! We had to sit by the door, so they could ask people to move around, so they could arrange a table for us... then we were asked to stand up and wait as they needed our chairs.............., we ordered our food, then I wax told they did not have my starter , ok I ordered something else, our main stated to arrive, but mine did not, I asked there mine was, and then told, O they had run out of that..... !!!!! Too late to order anything, as all the group had started to eat ...

Very Very Slow Service. Waited over 1 hour for Main course. Eventually had to leave before it had arrived. Only 1 chef on a Saturday night with a packed restaurant...what a joke!!!

Wonderful food -- flavoursome, varied, fresh. Great prices (good portion sizes) and a good selection for vegetarians. Friendly staff. Quite a wait for the food but it was worth the wait! Will definitely go again!

Have been several times before and loved it every time but first time for the Sunday buffet. Fantastic value for money and nice relaxed atmosphere.

Excellent food, nice modern environment, great menu. Service was friendly and competent but quite slow. We were seated well over an hour before getting starters. We will go certainly go again however.
