Inedible sadly, service polite but unprofessional. First time ever paid for drinks and didn’t eat the food.
Booked to go to Mogul restaurant this evening, a restaurant we have used for many years. First time we have been since before lockdown. When we arrived we discovered it was no longer Mogul, had changed name, and is now a vegetarian restaurant. The food was nice, but think it should be made clear that the restaurant is no longer Mogul when booking!
We have used this restaurant many times in the past and the menu has always been very comprehensive however on our last visit it was quite a basic menu. We requested plain poppadums and were told they only had spicy ones!! Strange for an Indian restaurant not to be able to provide something so basic!
Food is excellent. Great choice of different styles, even the wife enjoyed it!!
Service was slow - waited over an hour for one course and had to hunt the waiter down for additional drinks. Curry sauce was all the same with no flavour changes for any of the dishes, just a change in the spice. This place used to be good now is awful. Not recommended.
Great food, good little table. Reservations are highly recommended for this place.
Great service and I would recommend to a friend. Lovely food
Fantastic food with plenty of vegetarian options. The best curry we've had in a while.
Although it took a while to arrive, food was incredible!
My friends and I were delighted to return to one of our favourite restaurants. Admittedly, vegetarian choices were surprisingly low. However, I loved the paneer main I ordered and would happily choose the same next time.
The food was excellent and very good service. I would definitely recommend
Great food and service, will definitely be coming back when in Greenwich
Delicious freshly cooked food, friendly staff but busy on a Saturday night, so a little slow. We eat there regularly - very good food for value.
waiting times were very very poor and service overall left a lot to be desired
Good selection of tasty curry’s - quick service, friendly staff
Large party of 8 people which was awkward fir them but they did a great job. Food was excellent.
Recommended! Good ambiance and venue well located in Greenwich. :-)
Cozy place and very flavourful food! Such a good experience overall
Some beers were not available; menu was restrictive eg no plain paratha, vegetable options were limited compared to other Indian restaurant. The rooms were all too small for 8 people. Elbows were touching each other while eating. I had to sit at the end of the table, at slightly raised level. Getting out form the table to go to the loo has an experience as the space between table and seats were very narrow. I don't think I will come back again. The waiters were brilliant.
Great service, food came quickly and the staff were really friendly and knowledgeable on which items on the menu were vegan friendly
great food. server didn’t give us cutlery until we asked, apart from that it was ace.
Great food fair price , I would recommend it warmly
Had a very pleasant evening if a bit isolated in one of the basement vaults. Food good service good
Great food and service. Staff were brilliant and we really enjoyed our visit. Definitely visiting again.
Incredible meal with wonderful flavours of India. The best Indian meal I’ve had in London without question. Staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Highly recommend this family-owned restaurant. The Cobra beer off the tap was also lovely!
Needs air con other our favour it place to dine; has authentic punjabi food.
A very nice, indulgent meal. Great drinks, starters, and mains.
Delicious food and friendly staff. Would definitely go back again
Ok, good service, food ok. Lacking atmosphere, empty on Saturday night
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Made to feel very welcome and was well looked after.
Good value for money! Great atmosphere :-) Go for it!
Wonderful food! Thank you for a lovely evening. Coming back
The food was amazing. The quality made up for the shorter menu. My lamb biryani was tender and fragrant, and my husband and son both enjoyed their starters and main courses. We were a bit too close to the adjacent table, but that was my only complaint.
Food great, staff not very efficient. Served our main course without bringing us cutlery. Also the waiter never said there was already 10% added to bill when I gave them another 10%.
A great place for wonderful food and fantastic service. Would recommend
Food was great, service was really slow, was there for 40mins and only had 3 popadoms and a coke for me and my girlfriend then we was practically ignored most of the night as well as them messing around with my booking in the beginning. Again, food was lovely if you are not in at all a rush because literally was there all night.
we were downstairs which is charming- upstairs the lighting is so harsh that it feels like an office- a little thought on their lighting could make the upstairs just as nice. we had a rowdy table of 6 next to us and could not hear each other some of the time. Difficult to control., kno
90 minutes wait for food. Restaurant was cold and we weren’t offered a reduction ..... but got one when asked. No explanation given had to keep asking. Food was great
Food was good , tasty , servive was good but not 100% felt lile others customers was kore looked sfter than us , but that is life
Really tasty, had mostly vegetarian food. Sat downstairs in a booth. Lovely waiter although the wait fir food was long. It was really busy so that’s probably why.
Lovely meal but spoilt by being charged for surplus curry being put into tiny paper bag and foil container. Unbelievable, never experienced this charge before anywhere.
Great food as always. We ate in the restaurant but often order in from Mogul. Can’t Say I have ever had a dish that I did not enjoy. We will go again soon.
Service can be a bit slow but a great little restaurant with good quality food and friendly waiters. The last time my friend I was with was there thought the dish a bit too salter and mentioned this to the waiter and they reduced the salt. Good service
Friendly authentic Indian restaurant. The food was very good ...aloo gobi a little bit soggy...but overall very tasty and plenty of it. Do not like the idea of adding 10% service charge and would have given 15% if that had not been there.
We’ve been to Mogul many times and ordered deliveries from them too. We always get wonderful food and service. Thanks for a lovely meal as always.
Always reliably good food and great service. In a crowded restaurant scene in Greenwich the Mogul stands out and is one of our firm favourites.
Decent food, service fine albeit not special. Slightly small portions but we ordered plenty. We would definitely visit again if we were in the area.
Service ok, but food, So-So! The dhal was bland and the chicken and lamb dishes were not up to expectations. The roti was also tastleless.
Great food. Good vegetarian options, served hot. Wait time could be reduced and it's a bit tight on space. Having said that, taste of food makes up for that :)
My first Indian dining experience in London and it was superb. I highly recommend. The chicken tikka masala is a must. Don’t order rice, just mop up the sauce with naan. And smile.
