We had a wonderful evening with amazing food and the friendliest and most helpful staff. The quality of food was very high and the front of house exceptional.
This is a wonderful place for Ethiopian food. The owner is extremely welcoming and friendly, seeming so glad to see us and our friends. We went on a Saturday and luckily had booked, as we had the last empty table. As it was so busy, service was a little slow but that is my only criticism of the place. We had an excellent bottle of Ethiopian Syrah, and shared the mixed vegetarian plate for four people (£10.95 a head). It was absolutely superb, a selection of pulses and vegetables with varying degrees of spiciness. I praised the beetroot dish, and the owner kindly brought us some more for free. It's that kind of place, and we were glad to see it full and successful. I really can't praise the restaurant enough, it's by far the best Ethiopian food I've eaten.
The food is out of this world. Love the massive sharing platter we had for four vegetarians, completely stuffed by the end of it! Went for the coffee ceremony and a piece of coffee and walnut cake (traditional apparently from Italian influence). Highly highly recommend this place, we will b back!
Extremely friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and eating with Injera a great experience. Not very spicy, what I thanked. Recommended and a place to return
Always a pleasant atmosphere with the owner's great smile, great food and hospitality, overall an amazing experience every time. We will come again, I'm sure!
