The food was amazing. The restaurant is not the cheapest one but really worth the money spent
Excellent food, good price, nice drinks and nice staff thank you
This restaurant is absolutely amazing, the service is first class, thankyou MANIISHA, the food can not be faulted in any way and the ambience perfect, we will definitely be going again soon.

Lovely meal, lovely setting & most importantly lovely staff, will be back 👍
A very nice restaurant with great food and lovely staff.
The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated staff very helpful and friendly and the food is very good
Place was lovely. Felt like your abroad. Friendly staff. And great food
This was our first visit and it won’t be our last. Lovely decor and ambience, excellent friendly staff and most importantly delicious food. Highly recommend.
food was delicious and piping hot, service was very good, very polite and pleasant staff , didn’t feel rushed at all. A very enjoyable evening
A little disappointed we was sat upstairs as there was no one else up there, we had pre booked so would have expected priority seating, toilet was very very cold however service was good and food was excellent, Will definitely
Stunning decor, design, delicious food, great attentive staff, excellent attention to detail. Brilliant!
It was our first visit to The Merchant of Venice and it certainly won't the last. The service was excellent and the food was amazing ,very friendly staff.
Have been here twice in a week. The best dining experience i have had in a long while. Great food, great service
Excellent food and service, thank you for a fab evening.
Really delicious, reasonably priced and very entertained. It was a Saturday night, they had a trumpet/singer who was excellent. Only downside it was difficult to hear the waiting staff.
I’ve been 3 times and always had the lasagne 😋 Preeti, Reona and Donna have always given the best service and there have never been any complaints with service, quality and the quantity of food that is provided! Outstanding restaurant and the customer service is world class! A favourite family restaurant. Thank you
It was a birthday meal for 7 of us. The menu had a really good choice, the food itself was amazing and reasonably price. 7 of us having starters and a main with drinks and 2 bottles of wine cost less than £280. The Staff were brilliant. Very attentive and couldn't do enough for us. The venue is very nicely set up with a lovely ambience in the cellar where our table was. Highly recommended.
Food was good, service was good, atmosphere was ok but the reason I say that is because we were seated in the basement with only one other table while the entertainment was upstairs. I would have preferred to have been seated at street level and therefore if I book again I will ask to be seated at street level. The magician did come downstairs and that was a very nice bonus!.
Second visit. Very much felt looked after. Friendly manager! Doing best to meet our wishes.
