Very warm welcome and extremely attentive staff. Excellent food and service and my colleague from London rated it one of the best Indian restaurants she'd experienced. Highly recommended.

Brilliant meal as always. The jumbo prawn starter, Jhinga Hara Masala is to die for. Great friendly service and atmosphere that suits everyone and all ages.

Excellent from being met at the door to leaving. The staff were very attentive. The bit in the middle, the meal, all 3 courses were delicious. having eaten at most of the Indian restaurants on Maid Marion Way, we had high expectations of Mem Saab, however we were left disappointed by both the food and the service. The food was lacking in taste and the service pushy and over attentive. Would definitely not rush back.

Visited on 15th Dec as a party of 10. The food was exceptional, the staff were very attentive. The restaurant and atmosphere could not be faulted. Recommended.

Lovely warm welcome a arrival, as always the food was first class, staff give you plenty of time between courses so you don't feel rushed like so restaurants.

One of the tastiest and most flavoursome curries I’ve ever had. Good service and a great buzz around the place. Lamb chop starter is a real winner.

Amazing food and service. We have this as a special treat on date night. Cost is higher but absolutely worth it. Since eating here, no curry house lives up to it!

Food was excellent, service from staff poor, miserable, rude, impression didn't want to be there. Just plonked food down, no comments, reaching over guests, felt like rushing - just generally poor and not what you expect from this establishment. Spoke with the Owners /Management and they were excellent in regards to their approach, listened and promised to investigate. Now I have dined here a number of time previously and never seen these issues before, lets hope a one off, up to the management to resolve before it becomes a bigger issue. This excepted - I would recommend you give it a try, food is excellent, service will hopefully be resolved.

Having never been to the Memsaab before we did not know what to expect. I am delighted to say that the reviews were accurate as the food and service were both excellent. The presentation of the food and attention to detail was faultless. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you love delicious, mouth watering, well cooked Indian food.

Amazing! Booked for a celebratory meal after reading excellent reviews and it did not dissappoint, the restaurant itself is beautiful and the food though higher priced is well worth it, every dish was delicious and beautiful presentation. The service was extremely attentive, they explain what’s on the dishes and nothing is too much effort. Best place we’ve eaten in Nottingham and will be returning!

Excellent food, presentation and service - a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The early evening menu (which you have to ask for), represented great value for money.

Booked for a Saturday night and the restaurant was very busy which I think is a good sign. Service was great and the food amazing.

Great atmosphere and Fantastic food especially the Paneer Achari Tikka which was recommended by one of the staff. Also As we were celebrating a birthday the staff brought out a complimentary dessert which we thought was a lovely touch. Great place!!

Beautiful restaurant with beautiful food. All the staff are really polite and make you feel really welcome,the food is amazing and well worth the money,the decor is beautiful an overall lovely restaurant.

Approximately 25 of us went for a meal, the food I highly recommended, it was delicious. My advice to you- if you are going out with a large group tell them to purchase drinks from the bar and keep the food bill separate. My downfall the bill was over £600 that include the £230 deposit. The manager became very irritated and claimed there was a shortfall, even though a few paid by card. He was very rude, and which unfortunately ruined the night for the majority of us. Better customer care was required . Having said that nice food, pleasantl waiters

A wonderful restaurant in Nottingham - delicious food , interesting menu and fab staff. Really fresh , clean flavours. 3 of us ate all different choices and everything was great.

We had a lovely time! Booked table for a birthday celebration and did not know they had Divali celebration 5 course meal menu on, so glad I went on this date amazing food and top quality service, and it made the birthday celebration extra special. Thank you to all the staff for a very extra special evening and will definitely be back for Divali again.

Super food, subtly spiced and beautifully presented. Charming staff and a great atmosphere on a Friday night. My mother, famously squeamish about spicy food, declared it the best Indian she had ever eaten. Everyone enjoyed their meal and while you do pay considerably more you get your money’s worth and then some. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience and genuinely the best curry I have had in years! Highly recommend the Ostrich starter and the King Prawns are huge. Amazing flavours and top class service from the moment we opened the door.

Best curry ever. Visited on Diwali and were treated very well and had the special menu. Highly recommended. It was very busy but the service and food were great.

We made a late reservation mid-week. The food was stunning, beautiful atmosphere and service impeccable. An array of options with delicious specials and surprisingly, a good range of wine. We will definitely dine here again.

Excellent experience with attentive service, food is of the highest quality. I did however find my starter the King Prawn was served with one less than last time.

An amazing evening and incredible food. The dessert they gave us for my boyfriend’s birthday was lovely...and apparently he’s never had saag aloo that good.

18th Birthday party and stuck in a crappy corner next to the toilets. No sparkler and cake like other celebrations were having. Poor food quality won’t be going back and spending my money here again

We had the early evening fixed price menu and it was excellent as usual. Great service, our waiter kept track of the time to ensure we were at the theatre on time.

The location and atmosphere of Memsaab is really great. The food was delicious and a step up from a traditional UK Indian restaurant. Can't recommend highly enough.

Brilliant and amazing food again. We would like to see a different style of meat on the Sigri (grilled) Selection (for 2) Lamb Chops, Boti Padina and Reshmi Kebab as the Boti Padina was too much of the same style of lamb after lamb chops were served with the same dish. A minced lamb kebab would be better and I'm sure it was this in the previous menu. Keema peas is the best here and even the pilau rice is amazing. Will be back again and we'll worth the money! :D

Lovely restaurant with friendly staff. We arrived late for our meal after going to a concert, and were told the Chef had gone home, which was understandable, but later the guy came running after us and said the Chef would stay on and cook us a meal. We were really impressed and had a lovely meal.
