Memsaab Restaurant

Vegetable pakora seemed a little over cooked. Poppadoms didn't taste as fresh as I'd had previously. The chicken in my main dish tasted more like chicken thigh meat which I wouldn't choose. Attentive staff and lovely atmosphere.

Yet another great night at the best restaurant in Nottingham

Absolutely fantastic yet again greeted very friendly and shown to our table immediately. sat down and was offered warm towels to wipe our hands a real nice touch. Our waiter was friendly and efficient this time we just wanted good food and didn’t order drinks other than water and we were not made to feel like this was unacceptable they kept refreshing and topping up water with fresh jugs without our having to even ask, excellent. The food was amazing as usual and so nice to go somewhere that have not changed or scrimped or dumbed down there ingredients. The chutney pickle tray was exactly the same amazing highlight of visiting Mensa. Can’t wait for our next trip there in the near future totally the best restaurant in Nottingham.

Staff surprised my son with cheesecake and a sparkler because it was his birthday.

Service exceptional, efficient but very friendly. Seemed to have a lot of regulars amongst the customers. Food was good with some individuality. Enjoyed our visit and will return.

Amazing service from walking through the door to leaving. The waiter was polite and helpful and recommended dishes that were amazing. The food was out of this world, tasty and well presented. The price was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food and drink we had. We shall most definitely be back. 15 out 10 from us.

Waiters were Attentive while not being intrusive. Great service A little noisy due to table of young men - no fault of restaurant. Butter chicken very tasty a little too spicy for my liking but yogurt cooled it down when requested. Overall a great experience. We would return and recommend.

Greeted and shown to out table within a minute of arrival, we were offered the choice to choose a table in another area. Service was good. The menu choice was enough, without offering too much or too little choice. The food was excellent.

We had an excellent meal in such a beautiful restaurant. The service was second to none. Each time we go to Memsaab we are treated like VIP’s and the menu choice is outstanding. Highly recommend as the best Indian restaurant in Nottingham.

Food was good, the tandoori sets were very yummy and flavourful

It's a great restaurant but the recipe on my favourite dish has changed and I don't like it so much now. Beware of the parking offer for the local NCP car parks: Memsaab add the parking charge to the bill, which then incurs the 10% service charge and increases the VAT. So last night we thought we were paying £6 for parking (as stated), but we paid £6.60 because the bill was recalculated once we showed them our parking ticket. This is not a transparent charge. It's actually cheaper to use the road parking, which is widely available in that area.

Amazing food in a beautiful setting. Simply fabulous. No matter how often we visit Memsaab never fails to deliver.

We were visiting Nottingham and craving for some Indian food. This place came up and we were glad we visited. Food and service was great.

Excellent service. However, two of our party said their chicken tikka masala was the worst they’d ever had - tough meat and bland sauce. My lamb dish was excellent. I had to ask for my pint of Kingfisher to be topped up as gave a short pint. Yet another restaurant that includes service, which usually I ask to be taken off, but on this occasion the service was probably worth the charge.

Not very busy so lacking a little in atmosphere but as always, the food was delicious.

Service, food quality, staff friendliness was all 10/10 all excellent

As a family of four with our 2 young adult sons, we had a lovely meal out celebrating our son's birthday. The food was fabulous and the service at our table was fantastic! We sat at a round table near the window which was perfectly sited away from the busier part of the restaurant so we could chat together as a family. It's rare with one son working and the other away at uni that we can gather like this. The staff made it more special when they presented a surprise happy birthday desert so we could sing happy birthday. Thank you again for a lovely evening with fabulous food and service. 💕

Overall the experience was good. There was a bit of a delay with service when other large tables arrived. It felt like 2 members of staff were extremely busy running around to get these tables sorted whilst the other staff were taking it easy on the other side of the restaurant. Not sure if this was by default but there should have been more staffing even the number of customers. The staff interaction fell a bit once they got busy. There was a member of staff on the floor, not sure for what as he didn’t seem to know anything and was not able to interact.
