Fantastic service and food not cheap but you get what you pay for - please try it!

Very attentive, professional staff. Tasty food, though quite expensive for an Indian restaurant. Some nice touches, like hot towels when you arrive.

They easily accommodated us as a party of 7 on a Saturday night. The service is always very good there and the food was excellent.

As always an excellent meal of the highest standard. One of our party was an initiate and he was extremely impressed with everything. It's always a good feeling when you introduce people to The Memsaab because you know that you will not be let down.

Always a fantastic experience - great food and service. There’s a choice for everyone - even if it’s not on the menu, they’ll cook something to suit your individual taste.

The restaurant has a great open spacious feel to it and despite being very busy the service and attention to our table was faultless. All dishes ordered within our party were delicious, each dish very distinctive made with quality ingredients. Great evening, I highly recommend.

There was a really lovely atmosphere on the night and delicious food. The Set valentines menu was also fantastic value. I was really pleased to see a Great variety of vegetarian options too.

Worst Indian meal I have experienced, too concentrated, might as well ate curry paste straight from the jar! Popadoms where like the ones you buy in the supermarket, sharwoods! Tried to charge 10% (£17) service charge also! We had 9 different people waiters and waitresses us, we couldn't keep up who was who! When you walk through entrance door, it has all award stickers, Michelin, etc, God knows how they won these, must of paid for them! We won't be returning, and advise people not too

This is a great place especially for veggies. Lovely tasting dishes, nice wines, friendly service, great atmosphere. My first choice for a treat. I've been here a few times and always really enjoyed it.

The food really was wonderful and the staff helpful and pleasant. Would highly recommend and we are quite fussy! All seemed very clean too. Excellent.

Excellent service - lahori lamb chops are a really nice starter and not too overloaded with food - very well balanced meal and very nicely cooked - a unique taste compared to your normal local Indian restaurant.

This restaurant was heaving. The staff were excellent, very friendly & attentive. We all enjoyed the food. I had goan fish curry which was mediocre. Expensive for an Indian. I would recommend for a celebration which our party was.

Good choice of dishes above and beyond the normal curry standards (love the tandori ostrich). Good quality food, pleasant surroundings, polite and efficient service. Would definitely return.

The atmosphere was great and the service was individually tailored to the table. The staff were friendly and proactive in asking if we had come for a special occassion and then helped us to celebrate in style. If you want an upmarket eating experience and an occasion to remember this is well worth checking out.

Verygoodfoodand service as always at Mem Saab. Good atmosphere with it busy but not frantic or rushed and looks great inside. Prices more expensive than the average but well worth it.

Excellent food, I had the vegetarian Goan curry. An excellent selection of veggie dishes. Attentive staff, they spotted it was my birthday and I was presented with a lovely mango cheesecake with a firework to celebrate. Thoroughly enjoyed my ev😃.

Went there for my wife's 50th with the kids and we all loved it. Staff were friendly and great with the kids and the food was lovely. Starters were amazing and mains slightly less exciting, but well spiced and subtle at the same time. It is expensive, but worth it for special occasions. I will certainly go again.

Hadn’t been for 4 years, and it still has the impeccable service, perfectly executed dishes and fun atmosphere that made it a firm favourite. It may be a little more expensive but it is the best.

Great food and service, not been for years as been going next door for a while. My daughters starter was unusual & not quite what was expected, she tried one spoonful & declined the rest. The staff noticed her reluctance and explained the contents of the dish. Despite us being happy to pay, we weren’t charged for her starter. Generally though, lovely food & great service, equal to if not better than “next door”

A really nice time with a free glass of fizz and lovely food. Also great to have an excellent saxophonist who wasn’t intrusive and played a great set. It represented very good value for money. The downside and the reason for only 4 stars is that, as it was New Year’s Eve, we felt they hadn’t managed their bookings effectively and we had to stand for over 20 minutes waiting for our table.

Found Mem Saab rather expensive compared to previous New Year’s Eve and nowhere near as good, perhaps it is time to find a new restaurant where you don’t feel as though you are being overcharged. Didn’t like the fact that staff were taking down tables whilst diners still eating. Not a good experience.

Excellent service & food, everything was perfect from start to finish. The waiting staff were very attentive appearing from nowhere and anticipating your every need. Well worth a visit.

We went for New Year’s Eve, wonderful food, great service and live music throughout the evening. We will be visiting again in the future. .

Very busy but the warm plates arrived for the main course but we waited for the food to be delivered so were cold when needed. Felt rushed towards end of the meal as though they needed the table back ASAP. Mentioned it on check out but no response ☹️

The service was super-professional, friendly and efficient, as always. The main courses were absolutely delicious. One thing we noted was that the poppadoms didn't seem particularly fresh and the chutneys rio go with them were pretty boring.

Perfect food, polite, efficient service and a great atmosphere, always a great experience. Five star cleanliness. I highly recommend that you give it a try.
