Memsaab Restaurant

Brilliant experience, could not fault it! Service and food was perfect, lively flavours and would highly recommended to all! Would but hesitate to go back again.

It was our first visit to this restaurant, they produce very good tasty food, glad they serve lamb instead of mutton. Many other places state lamb on the menu, but actually serve mutton. The staff are attentive.

Excellent food. Service was attentive, there was a good atmosphere in the restaurant. Only reservation is that waiting staff should be careful in checking how hot people like their food. On selecting hot dishes the waiter was insistent on checking that the ladies would cope with the heat and not the men. For our table - the complete opposite is true - the ladies love the heat - so don’t ask and then don’t check they are ok! The ladies are the experienced hot food eaters. Otherwise - brilliant food and the ostrich was to die for!

Memsaab is rightly considered one of Nottinghams high end indian restaurants. The setting is smart without being intimidating, the cuisine has laudable ambitions without being entirely flawless and the service is the friendly side of attentive if a little studied. We visited during graduation week and thoroughly enjoyed Memsaab. We were not alone and Memsaab is clearly attuned to this to this week in the academic calendar. Without enquiry or bidding a complimentary desert, complete with firework and enscribed 'congratulations' in chocolate sauce, arrived which was as thoughtfully prepared and as entertaining as the meal itself. The butter chicken was a standout dish.

My experience was excellent, as usual. I am a great fan of Memsaab. Excellent and great, friendly service. My two friends were also very impressed.

A frequent visiter of Memsaab with little desire to try elsewhere; an excellent menu with a variety of dishes. From the complimentary warm towel at the beginning of service to the after dinner chocolate the service is exquisite.

Always a fantastic experience - great food, great atmosphere and a fantastic service. Any curry lovers in and around the Nottingham area need to visit!

Staff were really friendly with great customer services followed by great food. We were well looked after, our drinks arrived a minute after ordering and each course arrived in fashionable time.

Went on Wednesday night with a party of 9. It is not cheap however the surroundings and the food are well worth it. One of the best Indian meals I have had. First class.

We had an excellent meal at the Memsaab. The quality of the food was exceptional and the service very attentive without being intrusive. A lovely celebration.

Food and service was FANTASTIC! We had a table of 11 all having 2 courses so it can sometimes be a bit tricky in a busy restaurant on a Friday evening but it wasn't. No problems what to ever and they even went out their way to get chips for us! Can't wait to come back already!

Nice place to chill out, good menu and good service. Music was not loud, but played always the same track, so after 30 min became really boring.

Very nice service, kind staff, everything iss clean, and food is so good, enjoyed every minute being there . I will definitely be coming back next time

An excellent fine dining experience, with brilliant food and amazing service. I had some specific dietry requirements and the waiter went above and beyond making sure my requirements were adhered to.

Food and service were superb, friendly staff and all the quality you expect. Wide range of dishes, and unlike some, they offered a good selection of desserts too. Thoroughly recommended.

Always lovely to try something a bit different off the menu and you'll find this at MemSaab. A friendly welcome and service excellent as always. We look forward to returning soon.

Memsaab is a brilliant Indian restaurant where the service was very good, the Indian twist on the traditional sticky toffee pudding was something very special

Great service and food. We had the early evening set menu which was good value - it arrives Tali-style with all the components at once on a tray, nicely presented. Only criticism is that we had to ask for the set menu as it wasn't on the tables when we arrived.

Mem Saab has a lovely atmosphere and decor - the food was amazing too. Would recommend the salmon and crab starters. Fairly expensive, although worth it.

Excellent food as always. They did seem very reluctant to let us have tap water for the table. It took 4 requests before it came and then they took it back after 5 minutes. It did come straight away the next time we asked and they left it on the table. We did order other drinks too.

Great restaurant, excellent customer service and the most amazing curry. The service from the staff is always a 100% attention to detail. We will definitely being going again soon.

Party of 4 on May bank holiday Sunday. Had good food, fast service and polite staff. Would definitely recommend going. What more else is there to say.

We have been before and have always enjoyed our visit, so this time we booked in advance to bring our friends who were visiting from Devon. They couldn't have been more impressed. Authentic, delicious food with many vegetarian options available. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant is a lovely place to enjoy a meal in. Couldn't recommend it more!

Birthday dinner celebration, Sunday 29th April. Exceptional Indian fine dining. Great atmosphere, helpful and knowledgeable staff and a wonderfully creative menu. Try the tandoori Ostrich............it's fantastic.

This restaurant has great service and lovely food. There was a large group of us and we were still served quickly and efficiently. Would recommend.

Brilliant food and wonderful service. High quality ingredients and a very well made meal which left us entirely satisfied. No complaints, could not be improved.

The family have been before and we had an excellent time. The only comment I would make is that we had notified the restaurant that it was a birthday celebration but there was no individual cake for the birthday person. As they were busy we did not pursue it.

Fantastic! Immaculately clean and lovely decor. Lovely to have a choice of some new and interesting dishes. The food was extremely tasty and beautifully presented. Lovely pink prosecco! Highly recommend.
