We did like our visit toMelanie very much. The food and service are very good.
Excellent food and value for money, I would recommend it to anyone
Lovely food. Great atmosphere. Attentive and friendly service. Highly recommended.
Rapid and polite service and delicious food before the theatre. All turned round very quickly which is exactly what we needed to make the show. Thank you to the kitchen and service staff at Melanie, you are fantastic.
The staff are really friendly. The food is lovely. Me and my other half come here all the time😀
The lady that served us was super friendly and professional. Honestly the nicest waitress I have come across in a while she was very attentive and looked after us very well. Shame i never got her name but she was a medium height girl with dark hair and was wearing a red lipstick.
We enjoyed our food - lots of choice and tasted “homemade” and prices were OK for the location. Not so keen on piped music and sometimes noisy guests. I’d eat there again if I needed a restaurant around there.
Lovely restaurant... lovely food .... great staff..... definitely will visit again......
A lovely restaurant in a fantastic location. The staff are friendly and professional and there is a good choice of dishes on the menu. Extremely tasty food. Highly recommended.
Very enjoyable could not fault the experience and would eat their again
I had a great time here at this centrally located traditional Italian. The food and service were great. I heartily recommend it.
Lovely food, good atmosphere. Busy but efficient service, I recommend.
Always consistently good food and very professional service. Great location
Lovely Italian restaurant. Extensive menu and friendly service. Perfect for Pre theatre or a relaxed longer evening meal.
A nice family-feel to the restaurant - we were not hurried although it was a busy Friday night - complimentary limencollo was appreciated - will definitely be returning!
Not the best service but food was fab! Shame really
Super friendly and helpful staff, lovely food and really homely. Had a lively time
Good Food, very nice and quick service. Price is okay.
Superb meal superb service !! 👍best place to eat bravo
A gem of a restaurant right in the centre of Soho. Delicious tradtional Italian food. I keep coming back!
Service was ‘good’ although they did bring me the wrong starter then brought it back saying it was the right starter then came back and took it away as it wasn’t!!!! Food was great. Spaghetti with Pesto - home made - was really good. At the end of the meal we asked for the bill which was £90+ and then they told us the card machine wasn’t working! I had to leave and find a cash point. It put a dampener on what was a nice meal.
Very friendly and efficient staff. Cheery ambience. Good food and service.
The visit was my daughters 30th birthday, the staff were amazing, they let me drop off her birthday cake the day before, they decorated the table beautifully. The food, as always was amazing. Made our celebrations very special.
Excellent value for money. Food good; service excellent. Have been before; will definitely go another time.
I love this restaurant and have come here many times. A great Italian restaurant.
Good choice menu, lovely food, efficient and friendly service and exceptional value for London. One of the very few restaurants left that offers Zabagliome. This is our favourite restaurant when going to the theatre.
Great place, great menu, greta food, great staff, great experience!
Nice restaurant and friendly service. God valmue for the money
Delicious food, fun, professional staff, fair prices. We had a lovely pre-theatre dinner at Melanie. It’s a good place to have a bite if one is not going to the theatre, too. We’ll be back!
Everything was really good but it took several times of asking for the bill. I would definitely recommend Melanie’s to friends and family.
Beware! The online wine menu shows one price but the paper menu in the restaurant shows another...we ended up paying £57 for two bottles of wine instead of the £38 we expected. Food was ok, desserts tasted sugary and fake. Would not recommend. Ever. Even if you are really hungry.
Very good location for theatre. Good service, nice ambiance and fairly reasonable for West End
very pleasant restaurant. good service and straight forward food. ideal for a pre theatre visit.
Amazing food and the staff are so lovely. Easy to get to. Would recommend to family and friends. Reasonable price. Close to theaters. Very good
We had a lovely meal. The food was delicious and the ervice was impeccable. Vety friendly sraff. Nothing too much trouble. A delightful restaurant and will return. Would recommend.
Delicious food, good choice and great, attentive and friendly service. All of us we're very happy and they got us out in time for the theatre, without feeling rushed!
Lovely restaurant with good selection of food at reasonable prices. Very large portions I could not eat it all. Staff very friendly and service was very good. Close to Prince Edward Theatre.
Lovely people, good service, great food at a good affordable price. Lovely little restaurant close to the theatre. Can book online too very enjoyble evening.
This is now my default restaurant in Soho, I always bring friends and family here. The food is delicious. The atmosphere is relaxed. The service is excellent. A top-rate traditional Italian restaurant.
Not our first visite but this time Service poor sat for an hour before our food arrived. Then wasn’t great when it did. Very disappointing experience.
the food is tasty but it’s not cheap and a glass of wine is very expensive. We were over £80 for lunch with a glass of wine for 2 people,
Great food. Great ambience. Great service. Great value. An excellent traditional Italian restaurant in the heart of Soho. It’s my default restaurant in Central London now.
A lovely, quaint restaurant in an excellent location close to theatres. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the menu is extensive. The dishes my friend and I chose were delicious and we had a very enjoyable meal. The alcohol is rather pricey though.
I love Melanie's but yesterday was the first time I had eaten there alone and I wasn't really given much attention. I won't eat there alone again.
The food and friendly service was excellent. We had guests from Switzerland who thoroughly enjoyed the experience who insisted when they are next in London they wil certainly book a table at Melanie's restaurant.
pretty poor really, I have been before and it was good but this time just didn't reach the usual standards. when we arrived 7.25 people just finishing there meals and going of to the theatre which I understand but we waited till 7.38 to get a drink. then during the meal there was a girl not far from us who was really loud and most people either left or tried to move away but im glad we had nearly finished our meal and couldn't wait to get out.
Excellent meal - ideal for pre Theatre. Quick service and lovely food. We have been a few times now and always a pleasure to visit.
Had a very pleasant evening with two of my sons. I have already got a table booked for Fathers day for all of them, food was excellent as was the service, nice atmosphere.
Speedy and very pleasant service and nicely cooked meals, delicious house wine, will definitely return as we are locals who go to the theatre often.
As always we had a lovely meal before our theatre trip. We took friends from Canada who loved the warm friendly atmosphere and great staff.
