Our first time at Marley’s in Benfleet. We liked the atmosphere, the decor, and the food was good. The service was excellent. We had 2 young children with us and the staff were amazing with them. Will certainly go again

Lovely Sunday afternoon was quite quiet which was surprising. They brought the wrong food out but this was quickly rectified and we kept what was brought out.

Staff amazing, food amazing! Had my disabled brother and the chairs were amazing for him, he had the option to sit on a normal chair or the bench. The waiter also pushed him outside helped us get him into the car and helped us put the wheelchair into the car. This really does make a difference to us. Thankyou so much for an amazing experience especially on my birthday x

It was my daughters 21st, amazing service, and they were really great with our little girls. Very attentive, service was very fast, could have done with a little bit more of a break from ordering, starters and mains but no issue. Food was great, we all enjoyed it and a good choice. Lovely serviette tulips at the end were a lovely touch. Thank you x

Three of us went for our friends birthday. The restaurants was very busy, but the staff were so welcoming, friendly and always in hand if you needed them. There was a live singer who was really good. We had a Pick Me Up cocktail which was so good and I had the pan fried salmon which was delicious and I’ll definitely have that when I return. They came round and sang happy birthday to everyone who had a birthday. The whole evening was great, well done Marley’s!

Marley's offers a broad menu and welcoming ambiance for a relaxed meal in Benfleet. However, the cost doesn’t align with the value of the food.

I ordered a grilled tuna steak and had it rare. It was fabulous. I eat out frequently and subsequently have often had disappointing meals. This was just perfect. I was disappointed with my dessert, sadly. I ordered pancakes but didn’t expect them to be Scotch pancakes. They were heavy and stodgy. It didn’t matter because my tuna was so good and I’d go back just to have that again.

Went there for Valentine’s Day but didn’t realise there was only a 3 course valentines menu. Not ideal for my partner who struggles with 3 courses. Probably would have gone elsewhere if we had known. Felt it was over priced. Had a drink included with price. I had a beer and my partner a Prosecco. Got given half a lager 🙁. Nice place and excellent service, rest average.

The food was lovely and nice atmosphere. Were wasn’t happy about the menus. We looked at the Valentines menu which were 60pp +service charge, then we asked for a normal menu to see what’s on there and decided to stick with it. But the waitress kept on telling us no and just did what she wanted. From regular menu we would have paid £47 each, now we were made to do £67 each, even we kept asking not to do Valentines menu, the lady should’ve let us speak rather than interrupting and telling us no and to do the valentines menu. And after as we tried to compliment the food, she just mimed and looked as she just trying to get the paiment and walk away as fast as she could. I wouldn’t come back. It’s not about the money, but making someone do what a waiter wants it’s not professional.
