Reasonable price and food was ok. Staff were nice and friendly and quite a nice place.

Booked this restaurant because it was near to the theatre. I am so glad that I did. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the ambiance of the place was just right. I will most certainly go there again.

Very good choice from pre-theatre meal. Also, a la carte menu as well. Food was excellent and service very quick. Great location opposite the King's Theatre

Staff, service and food were second to none. It is the perfect location if you are a theatre lover too. Will definately be back 😃

Excellent location across from the Kings Theatre. Staff were very friendly and the main courses were delicious. Didn't give full marks as I suspect the desserts were microwaved but they didn't taste too bad. Background music was mostly 80's which suited me fine. Would go back again.

Great food. Good choice. Good value. Attentive staff. Catered well for the 3 kids even though they were busy. Will be back and would recommend.

Unfortunately no reservation could be found by Marcello's staff. They however were very helpful got a table and service was excellent food good Enjoyable evening

Staff lacklustre, didn't crack a smile between the 2 of them. Atmosphere poor on account of their evident boredom. Food fine but childrens menu poor or inappropriate. Parmesan sauce anyone on a small list of choices? Would not go back. Used to enjoy it. S

Always go to Marcellos for my pre-theatre meal and everytime I've had a great service and lovely meal & would recommend it to anyone, booking through Quandoo was quick & easy.

Excellent food. Only small problem was that one fruit juice orfered was "off". A repacement drink was given with an aplogy. Good and friendly service

Fabulous service pre-theatre for a large party. Food was great and we were served quickly and efficiently before our show. We will definitely return here.

Probably the worst Italian s in Glasgow sent the two main courses back after that the manager told us to go on groupon as they do a steak deal ?????

We had a lovely 2-course pre-theatre meal for £14.95. The staff were friendly, the food was delicious and very good value with plenty of choices.

Staff were lovely, helpful and polite. Food was served promptly and tasty. Would go back. Very reasonably priced too, would book table To save disappointment tho.

It was very busy - good for business, but our table was in the main path for the servers. Lasagne was tasty but had less meat in the sauce than usual. So cramming in more tables and economising with the food...not the best scenario for a recommendation.

Lovely meal, attentive staff, value for money. What more could you want? Hubby had minestrone soup and pizza. I had bruschetta & spaghetti bolognes. No complaints.

Amazing food and amazing staff! Went before Rocky Horror in our costumes and everybody made us feel welcome and even got us to pose for pics! Will def be back!

As always, a lovely night spent in Marcello's. Food is beautiful and fresh and staff are always lovely and friendly. A favourite place for my family.

Maybe it was an "off" day. It took a long time for the order to arrive and then all were served except 1 of our group...we then had to leave since the show was starting. The waiter apologised for the delay but no money was deducted from the bill. We have only read positive comments about the restaurant so assume this was a bad day in the kitchen.

Service was friendly and efficient for the most part; food came quickly, but we did have to ask a couple of times for water, and the coffee took a while to arrive at the end of the meal.

The Food and Service was overall mediocre. The lasagne dish was particularly disappointing being burnt around the edges and looking more like a soup with very little pasta in it. However the pizza one of our party ordered was very nice. We were rushed out at end of meal...it was a bit rude! Personally I would not return to this restaurant.

Service shoddy. waitress smelled of old sweat.each course was delivered in sections had to chase up side dishes twice. Wine spilled on table by waitress. Hardly an apology from her. Never once did she smile. Would not go back..if this restaurant was not across the road from the theatre I don't think it would do much business.

Very nice restaurant. Excellent food and very good service. I would recommend Marcellos for anyone looking for a quality Italian meal in Glasgow. It's also very convenient indeed if you're heading to or from the Kings Theatre. First class all round.

Lovely restaurant and great service. Portions were a bit large and we felt a little rushed. We would return again, it was a great experience.

Nice food but the waiter was a bit slow taking our drinks order considering how few people were in the restaurant. However, good value for money and a decent option for a business lunch.

Extensive pre-theatre menu and not the usual rush from the staff to hurry up. Food is delicious. Have been a few times when going to see a show Kings. Definitely recommend.

Seated under speaker needed turned down. Waiters rarely seen. Overcharged. 2 of the party had to send main course back after it took over1 hour to arrive.

Great location for King's Theatre and good choice on menu either pre-theatre or a la carte. Pleasant efficient service. Food well presented , tasty and very good value.

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The restaurant is very attractive. We will certainly return the next time we are going to the theatre. This is a restaurant worth visiting.

You can't get closer to the King's Theatre in Glasgow if you are having a meal before going to a show. It is literally across the street. The staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome and the food was delicious. I'll definitely return.

Lovely restaurant , good service . Was busy as pre theatre so had to wait for waiter a couple of times but they were so efficient and helpful when they did come we didn't mind . Food gorgeous , great quality good value , First visit , will definitely be back .

We were late for our reservation walking lost in Glasgow so called and they gave grt instructions to get there and still have a table available...food was amazing and staff very attentive and helpful and my boyfriends guide dog very popular :) xx

Lovely meal, however service was very slow, had to wait 25min for our main course after finishing our starter. Very handy if head to the theatre though.

Nice vibe, easy going staff serving typical Italian fare. Just right for a lazy sunny evening in Glasgow. Really enjoyed the linguine and the coffe was very refreshing

Nice food reasonably priced. Pleasant staff and good service. Very convenient location for the Kings theatre which is directly across the road. The was no time limit put on the table which was another plus

First time at Marcello's. Going to the theatre, so needed a quick turnaround. Excellent service, delicious food, and very pleasant surroundings. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food and service in a relaxed atmosphere. Would highly recommend this restaurant to others. Especially convenient for pre theatre when visiting the Kings Theatre.

The whole experience was very average - the staff were okay, but not great, the food wasn't great quality and there wasn't much of it. I felt it was expensive for what it was - the whole trip was underwhelming, I shall not be returning.
