Mango Thai Tapas - Above Bar

Had a very enjoyable evening here. Delicious food and friendly staff. Plenty of space as well as care with hygiene e.g. they asked us to view their menu in our phones rather than handle menus. Really hope we can all support them to stay open.

It was a fully packed restaurant . But service was quick & friendly Food great as usual

Food great as always. Our waiter was a little rude and very stand offish. Didn’t ask us for more drinks and was a bit slow but then stood and chatted to other tables for ages. Not sure why the rudeness was just directed at us! Luckily food made up for it

Visit to town centre restaurant. Great service and food .

We went for a pre-theatre meal. We had pre-booked and were seated straightaway, the service was quick, the food arrived quickly and it was all absolutely delicious. We had a selection of tapas dishes, the coconut chicken was particularly delicious. Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be going again.

Meal portions were tiny do not get Tapas version! Overpriced. Food is nice but it's hard to eat cos they give u tiny plates to eat from and large cutlery, no chopsticks as you would normally expect from a Thai restaurant, so the food always slipped off the plate. I've never been to a Thai restaurant who were this stingy. The coconut water we order had gone off and tasted sour and had white bits at the top. We asked for a new one and they did successfully give it to us though. Will never go there again.

Good food, very reasonable prices and extremely friendly welcome. Definitely planning a second visit.

There was a big party in the same room, so understandably noisy but a bit overwhelming at times when trying to socialise with my family. Long wait on some of the food, as one of the steaks had to be re attempted 2 more times. A shame really, because I come to this Mango every time and always had a good experience. Will be returning very soon.

Its the first time in the Above Bar Mango but Ia have been in the Mango in Canute Rd many times. I live in SE Asia for many years so know what to expect with Thai food. The meal; (Penang Curry) was authentic and with the right amount of spice. Not too expensive either but drink prices are on the high side.

Food beautiful and staff are excellent - highly recommend Mangos.

Lovely food, enthusiastic waiter, however disappointed at the price of the 'floater' coffee as was charged £6 for a liqueur coffee but was a coffee without liqueur in it !

The waiting time was a lot and they seemed to only have one waiter yet it wasn’t busy at all.

Excellent food and atmosphere, everyone friendly. Service a bit sketchy in places (three asks for prawn crackers, only half the mains came out and had to ask but soon arrived after) but still worth going.

We had visited the Portswood venue a few times but an engagement in town brought us to the city centre venue. Faultless as the other one. Beautiful food, great staff, lovely drinks, good service - wonderful

3 people shared 4 dishes and a dessert. Service was very friendly and the food was delicious. One in our party had only eaten Thai food once before and didn't care for it. Mango changed his mind. He was very pleasantly surprised by how much he enjoyed the meal.

The service was very good with the food arriving quickly. The chicken and pork kebabs I had were great with very tasty sauces but the meat was slightly overcooked for me. The Chilean Merlot was god's at a good price.
