Probably the best Spanish tapas in Glasgow! Food is amazing, every dish was different but yet really good, also nice atmosphere. Would definitely come back.
We celebrated fathers day again at Malaga Tapas, wonderful experience. The food was amazing, staff attentive but not intrusive and happy to explain anything. It is rare these days to have this level of customer service. Well done, will be back soon.
Authentic tapas restaurant out with the city centre. Slight change to the menu since I was last there, but good choice of tapas and very well cooked. Drink prices are good
Lovely service and food in busy neighbourhood restaurant. Celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and got plenty of attention, even although there were two tables of 20 in having dinner at the same time.
Good wholesome honest food, good friendly service and excellent value. Highly recommend. Friendly atmosphere and good Location, central but just off the well beaten track.
The atmosphere was great, cosy spanish style. Wine was good, the tapas was really tasty. There is a huge selection of tapas which included plenty vegetarian and vegan as well as the usual meat and fish and paella. The only thing I wasn't keen on was the garlic bread. We had a really nice night and I will definitely go back.
Fantastic and authentic Spanish food would highly recommend. We had the 3 tapas lunch deal which is fantastic value for money which would bring a smile to any wallet!
The food and service were great. We will definately return. The choice of dishes for the lunchtime menu was very extensive. The staff were very attentive and helpful
Excellent family run restaurant. Food very good as is the atmosphere and service. Have been a number of times and it is a firm favourite of ours
Food is delicious and to excellent standard. Service was a little slow but the staff are lovely. I would recommend this place for some good Spanish tapas!
Service was excellent. Food was delicious - authentic Spanish tapas. Great value for money. Will definitely return and have no problem recommending to others. Lovely atmosphere and felt like a wee bit of Spain in Glasgow.
Great food n atmosphere in Authentic surroundings. Try the special's on the menu and finish with a cafe malagas or the Churros. I would leave the car as they have a good selection of Spanish wines
Excellent food, friendly and efficient service, I'll definitely be going back and would recommend to friends and family. They offered a Spanish liqueur 'on the house' at the end of our meal which was a nice touch.
We received a good service but not the best tapas we have had. Nothing wrong with the food as such we have just had better.
Brilliant Tapas, some of dishes are the best Tapas i have had. The restaurant has a real feel of Spain and the food to match. Highly recommended.
Great wee restaurant with friendly service and good tapas. Only reason it didn't get full marks was that we had to ask twice for drinks which had been ordered. It wasn't a huge deal but a bit annoying for the person who was left with out a drink. Otherwise it was lovely.
I love this restaurant. I have tried a number of tapas places and the food here at Malaga is the best. Have never had a bad dish. I can recommend the lamb, chicken and prawn dishes.
We had a lovely birthday meal at Malaga Tapas last night. The welcome and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. There is obviously a very competent chef or chefs in the kitchen. The tapas set menu seemed a good place to start and we were not disappointed. Quiet on a Wednesday night- only three tables occupied. The restaurant deserves better.
We love this wee restaurant and always choose it for special celebrations. This time it was a 'big birthday' treat and, as eagerly anticipated, the four of us enjoyed a totally first rate, authentic Spanish experience from start to finish. A dairy intolerance usually severely limits my hubby's menu choices but Malaga Tapas has proved a winner for him (and me) , in that a good number of the scrumptious options on the menu are safely non-dairy. We'll be back as soon as possible.
Great selection of tapas at good prices. Wine lust is also well priced. Very authentic I would recommend as this is by far the best tapas place in glasgow
Always the best tapas in Glasgow been to malaga tapas many times and it never disappoints. Quality of the food and the service is second to none
This is a small family run, authentic establishment which I think gives good value for money. The service can sometimes be a bit haphazard, especially if busy, but don't let that put you off as sometimes that is down to the UK culture of starters, mains and desserts - which is not Spanish tapas culture, is it? I will definitely be back as the staff are really friendly and helpful too.
Great food, authentic feel and attentive &helpful staff. A wee gem off the beaten track. I highly recommend this restaurant if you like tapas. Don't be put off by the external appearance - go inside and try the food.
Malaya Tapas offers fantastic authentic Spanish cuisine and the staff are extremely friendly. I would definitely recommend the restaurant to anyone visiting the southside of Glasgow.
Had a lovely lunch. Only £6.95 for 3 tapas dishes. Great service and great food, really authentic Spanish food. Great choice on lunch menu accompanied by a lovely rose wine.
Warm and friendly staff. Attentive service. Great food. Tapas were delicious and varied. We had 2 paellas: Valenciana and Montano; both were excellent. Food is very authentic. They even called us a taxi since our hotel was a bit far from the restaurant. Great dinner all around
Reserved pre-theatre menu for three but at the end of the meal was presented with a normal full-price bill. Food and service were fine as usual, although the place doesn't work as efficiently without the senior maitre'd in charge. Tried some of the rustic tapas but won't be doing so again. Not my best visit to this usually very good restaurant.
This place does excellent tapas. Me and my friend ordered the set selection of seven plates plus bread and olives. More than enough food providing an avalanche of flavours and textures. The wine good too! The place has a nice atmosphere and service was friendly. Would definitely recommend.
A great evening out for us all. Excellent food with good wine and impeccable service all contributed to an most enjoyable evening. Will visit again soon.
Another brilliant meal, friendly service and great experience. We love Malaga Tapas and will be back soon. The food is so fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere is lovely. Be sure to book as it's not large inside.
A great local restaurant we have enjoyed with our three boys, and numerous friends and family a number of times over the last few years. Traditional tapas, not overly fussy, well cooked and efficiently served. Consistently good. Always friendly.
Cant remember the last time I enjoyed a lunch so much. The food was excellent and authentic combined with great service made it a very enjoyable experience.
Very Spanish, food excellent and staff are lovely ! A wee gem. The owner Christobal makes you feel like a long lost relative. Altogether a wonderful dining experience.
Booked online and glad taxi driver knew where it was ,warm welcome from very friendly and helpful staff relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant which wasn't too busy being a Sunday evening. Good advice from staff on the range of dishes on offer and the number of tapas too order for two people, thoroughly enjoyed them all. Looking forward to returning again soon with friend
We ahve been the this restaurant a number of times now and its always a great meal at Malaga Tapas the staff are great and they never disappoint in terms of the food.
Great deals and good value for money, some of the tapas were a little cool when received on table but still warm enough to eat. Would definitely go again
Visited the restaurant on a recommendation from friends, Best tapas in Glasgow by a long way ! Friendly staff, great service, well worth a visit.
Food was delicious. Service was warm and friendly. Surprisingly busy for a Tuesday night, which is a good sign. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will return.
Amazing service. The food was exceptional, would definitely recommend, especially pre theatre. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere fantastic. Will defo book through Quandoo again too!
Good food, cosy atmosphere. Easily recommended after out first visit. Set meal gives a good cross section of what is available on offer. Will return.
Food and atmosphere excellent - the best Spanish tapas restaurant in Glasgow. Recommend the gambas a la gabardina. Good portions. Wonderful staff. Will definitely return.
It was amazing. Would definetly recommend for anybody who likes food and a great atmosphere. the staff was amazingly friendly the food was superb. Simply perfect.
It's our first choice whenever in Glasgow, always excellent food
We took the family (a group of 5) on Christmas eve - we experienced good service and had good food, experiencing a number of tapas.
We went for dinner yesterday evening for a work birthday. Great service and food, our server (lady with blonde hair didn't get her name!) was super attentive. We will for sure be back!
You actually forget you're in Glasgow. The food, decor and even the Spanish staff make you feel like you're on La Ramblas instead of St Andrews Road!
Excellent service and the food variety and quality were of a very high standard. The staff couldn't do enough. Price was good as well. Loved it. Will be back for sure
Lovely food and staff attentive and friendly. Nice relaxed feeling and not rushed at all after meal. Can see how this place could become a regular haunt !

This is a delightful, cheery, well-run restaurant. The staff are impeccable and charming, the food is superb, good value for money and visiting it is always a very pleasurable experience. It's clear that the family owning it worked hard to set it up and are still working hard to keep it up to their own high standards. There is sometimes live music there which is another great feature. The only slight criticism I have, which I apply universally, is the canned music is a little on the loud side - this charming restaurant doesn't need music - it has plenty of its own atmosphere.
