To be honest, it wasn't worth the money for the dishes

Wonderful food, but service not the best. It was acceptable but took a long time to get someones attention, and then a fairly long wait for the food, despite the restuarant not being very busy. But the food is good.

I had another great meal here and live the chicken tikka with nan. My e next time try something new as there is plenty to choose from and the quality is great.

Lovely food and attentive service. Be warned that the food is hotter than in other Indian restaurants we have been to - we were warm! Thali was very good but had to ask because that page of the menu was missing!

Loved the quality of food. Taste was amazing though portion size is little small. Wait was long but food was great.

Food is super delicious! I would have liked a “family” portion of rice instead of individual ones (we were a group of 5 and probably 3 portions would have been enough)

No hygiene, customer service is terrible and food is worst, I never experienced this type of customer service and food as well,very disappointed

Great food and service with plenty of veggie options right in the heart of the tourist area on Charing Cross Road. We would recommend that you book in advance as it can get very busy. This was our second visit this year and both times we had no complaints.

Amazing environment, food and people! I will come back again!

The environment is nasty as some curry remained on the table cover when we sit down. The chicken in masala was not fully cooked to warm enough when it came to our table. Won't come back definitely.

The food was ok, some if the thaly good, some blend. The service was very, cery slow, we waited 1 h20 minutes to get our food. We had to ask 3 times about getting water. The stiff 15% mandatory service charge was not worth it. We will not come back

Too congested , asked to move tables twice , long delivery time . Un used AC during London summer . Food was just okay

Service was not good, One waiter was very friendly, another was totally rude. I wonder if they treat customers of Indian origin badly....

The food at this restaurant is amazing. All dishes flavored extremely well and some very spicy as to be expected. Great value for money!

We kwamen om 17:45 uur met onze 2 kinderen aan bij Maharaja of India met een reservering. Het was al behoorlijk druk. Gezellige sfeer, tafels staan wel dicht op elkaar en muziek mag iets zachter. Het duurde even voor de ober kwam. We moesten vrij snel onze trein halen. De ober (Rahman) kon hierin goed adviseren wat wel/niet haalbaar was. Vrij snel kwam het eten. Het eten (Kip Madras, Tandoori en vegetarische curry) was goed, evenals de hoeveelheid. Naanbrood was wat droger dan ik gewend ben. Al met al prima gegeten voor niet al teveel geld.

BEST SPICY CURRY I EVER ATE. Naga chicken recommended by a sweet employee.

The clumsy cuisine ever… the nan and the chicken were burned in some parts… the restaurant was crowded… not a very nice experience

tables have very little space between them in all directions, even the "main aisle" requires one to turn 90 degrees when meeting someone coming in the opposite direction. Think airplane sized aisle. God forbid you get a table close to the door, as temperature-wise it's like sitting outside!!

Far nicer food than I expected from the outside. Long narrow restaurant with toilets at the end. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, we were served by at least 4 different ones who ensured we were looked after. So much so we gave extra cash on the standard service charge. Very reasonably priced for London. Husband said he had now found his favourite pre theatre Indian restaurant. Food quality fresh.

15 percent surprise service charge,,6 pounds for water. 6 pounds for each nan and small rice. This 70 pound meal for 2 should have been 40. The food was good but common now.

We had a lovely meal ( after seeing a show) the food was great and the staff we're very polite and helpful,we would definitely return again, only downside they forgot to bring out our rice 🍚 to go with the main meal, after chasing them up it came a few minutes later.
