Excellent food and service. Friendly and efficient staff. Would thoroughly recommend.
We did have a very nice time at Luc's Brasserie. Our lunch was very good as also the service.
Very enjoyable lunch, nice food and good friendly service. Nice buzz in the restaurant as always!
Pretty much the worst in almost 35 years working in the City. They got the number of the party wrong, I booked (3 weeks prior) for 3 at 12.00 - 12.15pm but they said it was 4 (not true, the receptionist said she would put us on a table for 4) then, when the first person arrived on time they demanded to know about the remaining guests and were informed (I had called ahead) that both were delayed on the same train into London Bridge and would be about 20 minutes late. Without any hesitation he was told that the table would have to be taken away as they were fully booked and needed the space. When we arrived at 12.30 our friend had been bullied and intimidated to the point where, as we walked in, he stood up and said "Sorry Tim, I can't put up with this lot anymore, I'm not in the mood for them", shook my hand and left! The remaining 2 of us were then led to the bar and told we could sit there "if we liked" as there was nowhere else available. Having no other option we sat and had an average meal of smoked haddock & salmon to start with a main course of sea bass complimented by a decent burgundy. The portion sizes were atrociously miniscule, the actual food no better than average, indeed I think anyone could do just as well with supermarket sourced ingredients, and they wanted to charge us almost EIGHT pounds for an ashtray sized portion of spinach! On presentation of the bill they applied a 12.5% gratuity bringing out total to £225.00 - yes, TWO HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE POUNDS! My advice? DANGER - AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!! Good restaurant - nice location - light and airy bit pricy
The restaurant is great. What is disappointing is the environment in which is exists - namely Leadenhall Market. Nowadays, during Coronavirus -land time, it is dead as a doornail. An unfortunate choice of words, I know. But I remember Luc's some years back and Leadenhall Market was buzzing. When I went for lunch there weren't dozens milling around, instead I saw a man and his dog. very disappointing.
Average experience, food was nothing special but OK. A basic brasserie experience, nothing more.
Lovely food, good service - but was a bit loud at lunchtime!
Perfect place to impress first time visitors coming to London
Far too noisy unfortunately. Impossible (5 at the table) to share a conversation.
Service and good were great and good atmosphere too, thank you
Fantastic lunch as always, lovely food, service and ambience -
delicious pea and mint soup, although the vegan tagine was a bit strongly flavoured
very good visit - worth noting it is quite loud in there if that worries you but it didn't us :)
Food is good, not haute cuisine but doesn't pretend to be. Good wine list, fun service.
great food, good service, ok prices, great location, can be very noisy due to the confined area. would go back
Good selection of dishes, tasty food, professional service, pleasant location up on 1st floor ... and quiet enough that you can hold a conversation without raising your voice :-)
