Lucca Bar & Kitchen

Really nice meal, had the two course Sunday menu. Garlic mushrooms was OK, lacking in flavour a little but OK. Had the sirloin dinner for main, the beef was lovely just a shame they use frozen Yorkshire puddings, overall very good though.

We had an amazing meal at Lucca! We both ordered fillet steak and I would go as far as to say it was the best steak I have ever had. The staff were friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure to visit. We will be returning and bringing friends to enjoy the excellent food.

My second visit was not a good as my first my scallops weren't cooked all the way through and the duck dish I had the skin was soggy and the ravioli was two rectangles of pasta couldn't really call it a ravioli

It was my first time here and it was lovely. Food, service and atmosphere was excellent. And the cocktails are amazing. Will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely atmosphere, attentive staff, quick service and gorgeous food. What more could you ask for. Oh yeah, the barman made me a mijito that that wasn’t on the cocktail menu! Perfect

Lovely food but slow service. Left us with dessert menu for half an hour before coming to take our order. By then we had changed our minds.

The food was beautiful and the service was exceptional and nothing was to much trouble for the staff.I will definitely be returning again.

Fantastic food and great service. Waiters were able to recommend their favourite choices when asked. It was a lovely setting, really relaxed. Overall great evening with family.

First time eating here and it was one of the worst services I’ve ever had. Ordered drinks first which hadn’t arrived, we then had to chase them up 15 minutes later when the waiter finally came to take our order. Drinks finally arrived 25 minutes after initially asking for them. Food took a while to come out, it was busy though so this was understandable, but it wasn’t cooked properly. I had asked for my lamb to be cooked medium to well done, only 2 of them were - the other 2 were barely cooked medium. I had a raw potato on my plate - I could still smell the starch!!! A waitress had taken one of our empty glasses off the table without asking if we’d like another, therefore left with no drink and trying to get their attention again to get another drink. We ordered dessert, which cream was missing from my own - I politely told the waitress I had asked for cream but it’s not come with it. She said she’d go get it, but as she walked away she rolled her eyes!! In then took ages to get the bill - we wanted to get out of there as soon as we could. Staff either don’t know what they’re doing or they’re rude! Terrible service, terrible food - couldn’t even say I enjoyed it. Extremely disappointed and annoyed I’ve wasted so much money here! Will not be returning.

Food was great but the service was lacklustre to say the least, we ordered and the starters came in minutes but once we had eaten the starter the mains came straight away which isn't right

Brilliant venue, great friendly service, and above all wonderful food, enjoyed our evening immensely. Will certainly be returning very soon, and would highly recommend giving it a try.

Kept waiting for our table and kept waiting to order food. Poor service. Food was nice though. Need to improve on the service before id go back

Extremely busy so service suffered but not the food, or the timeliness of its arrival. Just missing drinks etc which is no serious gripe to have when the food is delicious.

Delicious & rich food in a beautiful environment - with a good selection on the menu and classic wine list on offer. Problem for this visit was the customer service wasn't the best. Could be better!

Had lunch on a Saturday. Our mains were the steak and the mushroom and ham pizza. The chips with the steak we're delicious! Pleasant atmosphere and good price.

Couldn't fault the quality of the food and drink and service at Lucca tonight. Fairly quiet Wednesday evening but a few couples and groups in proving how popular it is. Food arrived quickly and was delicious and really enjoyed the cocktails.

First Time Here ,,Excellent Food and Service , I particularly enjoyed the Calzone Pizza and the cabbage ball starter , Others dining with us had Lobster filled pasta and commented on how nice that was too

The signature rib eye 30 oz was absolutely unreal And my girlfriend loved her pasta Beautiful food It took a little while to cook but the reseraunt was full and that just ment it was fresh to me too marks

Great food, service was brilliant and very reasonably priced. Defo be calling again. Cocktsils abit pricey, staff were very pleasant and attended all our needs.

Service very poor, desert tasted of nothing and when we told the waitress she told the kitchen, came back and told us it was bought in and we should of ordered the chocolate brownie instead! Seasonal vegetables as a side cost £3.95 yet had 2 sml pieces of broccoli, 4 carrot sticks & 3 sml halves of potato covered in butter hardly seasonal vegetables. Don't think we'll be going back I'm afraid

Quite disappointing. We’ve been to Luccas many times and been very pleased. This visit the service was very bad. We had to wait 20 mins before we even got a drink.

Short staffed and they made it very obvious, food was good but nothing came out at the same time, asked for the bill then was waiting 10 minutes to pay it because the staff were all huddled around the till

Nice and clean restaurant, food was amazing, however let down by the service which was unnecessarily slow ... felt they were concentrating on the bigger parties and at times felt ignored. Particularly when on two occasions I had to ask for a drinks order whist other tables were being constantly fussed over. Reasonable prices and good quality food and drinks. Would re visit and hopefully receive better service.

Food was excellent. Really enjoyed my meal. One thing that let the meal down was the service. Upon arriving at the restaurant we ordered a drink in the bar and was told that someone would be over to take us to our the able. Half an hour later no one had come over and we saw a couple come in after us be seated first. I had to ask someone to seat us so there was a miscommunication. Apart from that enjoyed our evening.

Awful service! Arrived and was seated quickly, it then had taken 25 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted a drink. We finally ordered our drinks, 10 minutes later still no drinks. However we could see our drinks sat on the bar, we actually go out of our seats and got them from the bar ourselves! Eventually after all this we got asked if we would like to order food! Only after a table next to us who arrived after us...... 1 hour later our food arrived, gorgeous food! Not one person asked how our food was or whether we would like any seasoning.......if it wasnt the food, wouldn’t of paid a penny!!!! Poor service, actually.... terrible!!!!!! Shame, food gorgeous!!! Lovely food and staff. Can be hit and miss with the service. This time service was excellent. Go here regularly for steak or lamb chops. Beautiful

Excellent food and good value for money . Lovely waiting staff and met my diatry needs.the negative was diners sitting in outside coats as so cold .. it made for an uncomfortable lunch wearing my scarf over my shoulders to warm up .

The Restaurant was very nice. We had wanted to come at weekend but fully booked. The Waiter was very attentive. Sadly 2 bottles of wine we chose were not available which was a pity. Mussels & Scallop starter lovely. My Pasta was good ... not a lot though. My Partner asked for blue steak ... only JUST blue but steak was good. Wold like to go back on a weekend for I guess more atmosphere. Nice Restaurant for Hull

Amazing food as always. Staff really friendly the only downfall today was it was Just a bit chilly today in the restaurant and bar area.

Food was great! Service could have been better, seemed very disorganised. We ordered three coffees and a dessert and the coffees came then about 20 minutes later the cheesecake came. It was also very cold in the restaurant with people say in coats for there meal.

We had an enjoyable evening with friends. The food was really nice and the atmosphere and service good. We will definitely go back another time.

Didn’t like being. Sat upstairs away from atmosphere and next to toilets. Food nice. Didn’t feel rushed. Bellini was flat, no fizz. Convenient location. Good value

Absolutely loved our evening at lucca, amazing food and friendly waiters. Very romantic friendly atmosphere and will definitely be visiting again, we had a lovely date night here.

Waited 90 minutes before starters came, garlic bread came after starters. Specifically stated gluten free requirement and sadly steak was served with bartered onion rings.
